We join with you in prayer for deliverance for you and your son and we stand together against any curse or spiritual oppression that has been spoken over your lives, declaring that in Christ those curses have no authority.
The Word tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and that there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. We do not need to live in fear of curses, spells, or words spoken against us, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke any attempt of the enemy to hold you or your son in bondage and we claim the freedom that Jesus purchased on the cross, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. We pray that any lie, any generational pattern, any word meant for harm would be broken now by the power of Jesus' name and replaced with the truth of God's blessing and protection.
We also lift up your son before the Lord for his physical and emotional healing. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss, remembering that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and that God desires for us to prosper and be healthy even as our soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask for wisdom for him and for you as you support him, for self-control which is a fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23, and for discipline rooted in love not in shame or fear. We pray that the Lord would guide you to wise counsel and healthy habits and that He would give your son strength and peace as he stewards the body God has given him.
For the past hurts he carries, we pray for deep inner healing. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask God to gently uncover and heal the wounds from the past, to replace pain with His comfort, and to help your son know his identity and worth in Christ. We pray he will cast all his worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord Romans 10:9, so that you and your household may walk in the full freedom and assurance of His deliverance.

Scripture declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. It is by substitution, by His being slain and bearing the penalty in our place, that slaves are set free, being bought with a price. There is no other ransom that can deliver a sinner from the pit, for God Himself has found a ransom in His own Son. We have therefore prayed that you and your son may look to Him who was made sin for us, and find in Him a full and effectual deliverance, wrought by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone.
We have prayed also for healing, for the safe care of the body and for the deeper wounds of the heart. Our Lord is that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. When Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. We have asked that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon your son with healing beneath His wings, that the Lord would grant him wisdom and strength to steward his body well, to lose weight safely and in a way that honors God, and that He would change the life blood and make the nature new.

We join you in bringing this request before the Lord and thank you for sharing it with us.
We pray for deliverance for you and your son from every curse and every work meant for harm. Scripture says that cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the book of the Law, and that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us on the cross. In Jesus Christ alone we have forgiveness, protection and freedom, and no curse can stand against those who are in Him. We pray that you both will rest in that finished work, walk in faith and obedience to His word, and know the peace that comes from belonging to Him. We ask God to break every chain of fear, accusation and oppression, and to fill your home with His presence, truth and light.
We also pray for your son for safe and healthy weight loss and for healing from past hurts. We ask the Lord to heal the wounds that remain from what has hurt him in the past, to comfort his heart, to renew his mind through hearing and remembering the word of God, and to give him strength and hope for each day. We pray for wisdom for him and for you and for any doctors or counselors who help him, that he may care for his body as a gift from God with steady, healthy habits, with patience and self control, and without harm. We ask God to give him fortitude and encouragement, to deliver him from what weighs down both body and soul, and to lead him into wholeness.

We are joining you in prayer for you and your son and asking the Lord to bring you both into the freedom and wholeness that is found in Jesus Christ.
In Scripture the curses you are concerned about are shown very clearly. When Israel stood in the valley, the curses for breaking God's covenant were spoken from Mount Ebal and the people were to answer Amen to each one, agreeing that the judgment was right. Cursed is the one who dishonors father or mother, who moves a neighbor's boundary, who practices sexual sin and other acts of disobedience. As you go on into Deuteronomy 28 the Lord sets the condition plainly, if you will diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and keep His commandments you will know His blessing, but if you do not obey, these curses will pursue and overtake you. There are only a few verses of blessing and many more of curses, which shows how serious disobedience is and how certain its consequences are.
That is why deliverance is not found in a formula or in trying to break a curse by our own words. The good news of the gospel is that Christ Himself has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, and through faith in Him we are brought out from under condemnation and into forgiveness and blessing. We are praying that any hold of darkness or fear over you and your son will be broken in the name of Jesus, that you will both walk in obedience to the voice of the Lord, and that you will know with confidence that the Lord will keep and guard you. There is no need to live under dread that a spoken curse can cling to you when you are trusting in Christ.
We are also praying for your son's physical health and for a safe and steady loss of weight. The Lord cares for the body He created. Healing in the Bible is not always instant. Sometimes Jesus healed with a touch, sometimes with a word from a distance, and once healing came gradually. Any true healing process is from God, because He is the one who designed the natural processes of the body to restore and strengthen us. We pray that God will give your son wisdom and self control, and give you both wise counsel from doctors and others who can help, so that weight can come down in a healthy, safe way that honors God and sustains his strength. We also remember that the Lord does not always grant healing exactly as and when we ask, as we see when Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord answered with grace and strength in another way. So we trust God's perfect will while we keep asking Him for mercy and health.

When we come to Jesus He not only forgives our sins but blots out the past, so we do not need to carry the guilt and condemnation of what has been. He brings times of refreshing from His presence and He can heal the scars and wounds left in the mind and emotions.
