We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we stand together against any curse or spiritual attack spoken against you.
We want to remind you that for those who are in Christ Jesus, no curse has authority over us, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse. As it is written, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. We do not need to live in fear of curses, for greater is He who is in us than any power in this world, and no weapon formed against us will prosper when we abide in Him. We also take authority in Jesus name over any evil intention, for we know that our weapons are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and her son to Your throne of grace. We ask that You break and end every curse, every word spoken against them, and every assignment of the enemy. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and no curse can remain where Your Spirit dwells. Father, we pray for this son, that You would help him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You. We pray for wisdom, self control and strength for him, remembering that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit within us, which we have from God, and we are not our own, for we were bought with a price, therefore we glorify God in our body and in our spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Lead him to healthy habits, to discipline and to peace, and not to harmful or extreme measures, but to steward his body well for Your glory.
Lord, we also lift up the past hurts he carries. You see every wound and every sorrow, and we ask for Your deep healing upon his heart. You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. Wash away bitterness, rejection, fear and pain, and replace it with Your love, Your identity and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help this mother to continue to encourage him in truth and to speak life over him daily.
Father, we ask that You draw both of them closer to Jesus, that they would walk in freedom, in health, and in the knowledge that they are loved and protected by You. We rebuke any spirit of fear or oppression and we claim Your promise that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7. We thank You that You are their deliverer and healer. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

There is one true deliverance from every curse, and it is found in Christ alone. The Scripture declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. He bore in His own body upon the tree the penalty that was due to us, that by His blood we might be set free. No curse can stand against those who are in Him, for He has bought us with a price and His ransom is complete. We pray that you and your son may know the comfort of that substitution, that you are covered by His finished work, and that every voice raised against you would be silenced by the blood of the Lamb. May the Lord Himself bring you forth with His outstretched arm, as He brought Israel of old, and make your deliverance effectual by His free grace.
We pray also for your son concerning his body and his health. We ask the Lord, who formed our frames, to grant wisdom and strength for safe and steady care of the body as His temple. We ask for healing to flow from Christ, in whom there is an abundance of healing power. Even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing beneath His wings, to restore what has been burdened and to give grace for daily discipline, nourishment and rest, that weight may be lost in a safe and wholesome way under the Lord's kind hand.

We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing and bring your requests before the Lord.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would have no power and be brought to an end in Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the Law, and that Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us, so that in Him we receive blessing and not condemnation. We ask that God would make His protection and freedom real in your lives, and that you would walk in the confidence that those who are in Christ are blessed in Him and kept by Him.
We also lift up your son for his physical health. We pray that God would grant him wisdom, strength and self control to lose weight safely, to care for his body as a gift from God, and to find health through sound habits and with good guidance from those who can help him. We ask the Lord to give him perseverance and peace as he seeks to grow stronger each day.
We pray too for healing from past hurts. The church is like a place of healing where the wounds we have received can be tended by the grace of God. We ask that the Lord, who is the true physician of souls, would heal the memories and pains of the past, deliver from bitterness and fear, and restore joy through continual hearing of His Word and steady trust in His mercy. The Bible shows that when the law was given, blessings were promised for obedience and curses were pronounced for disobedience. The people were to answer Amen to each curse, agreeing that judgment was right for breaking God's covenant. Later it is written that if the people would not listen to the voice of the Lord to keep His commandments, those curses would pursue and overtake them until they were destroyed. That is the seriousness of living apart from God under the law.
The good news of the gospel is that Jesus Christ has borne what we could not bear ourselves. Matthew connects the healing ministry of Jesus to the prophecy in Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. Paul teaches that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. This means that for those who are in Christ through faith, the curse no longer has a claim to pursue or overtake them. Our prayer for you and your son is not that a spoken formula will break a spell, but that you both will rest fully in the finished work of Jesus, walk in obedience to His voice, and know the freedom that is yours in Him. Where there has been fear of curses, we pray God will replace it with confidence in His protection and with a life that seeks to follow Him faithfully.

We pray that God will heal the wounds and scars in the mind and emotions, and that both of you will find that the excellency of knowing Christ today is greater than any hurt from yesterday. That is a daily choice to release the past and embrace His righteousness by faith.

God created our bodies with processes for restoration, and a gradual, steady healing is still divine healing. We pray for your son that God will bring health to his body and to his heart together, that any weight loss will be safe and steady, and that the Lord will give wisdom to doctors, guidance in daily habits, and strength to persevere. We also pray for healing in his emotions, that where there are old wounds, God will bring wholeness in his thoughts and peace in his heart.
