We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we bring these needs before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus.
We understand the burden you feel regarding curses spoken against your family. We want to encourage you that for those who are in Christ, no curse can stand against what God has blessed and redeemed. The Word tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the undeserved curse doesn’t come to rest Proverbs 26:2. We rebuke any fear that curses have ultimate power over you or your son, and we rebuke the enemy who seeks to steal, kill and destroy through lies, intimidation and oppression. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. If there has been any involvement with occult practices, unforgiveness, or opening doors to the enemy, we encourage you to renounce it fully and to walk in obedience, putting on the whole armor of God and standing firm in faith.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through His blood and His name that deliverance truly comes.
We pray together for your son’s physical and emotional healing. We ask God to help him steward his body well, for we know our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray he will be able to lose weight safely, with self control and discipline that comes from the Spirit, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray against any unhealthy or extreme measures and for wisdom for proper nutrition, activity, rest and medical guidance as needed, and that his health would prosper as his soul prospers 3 John 1:2.
For past hurts, we pray the Lord will bring deep inner healing. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and by His wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. We pray your son would know his identity and worth in Christ, that he would release any bitterness or pain to the Lord through forgiveness, and that God would restore what has been broken and give him peace that surpasses understanding.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and thank You that You are our deliverer and healer. We declare in Jesus name that every curse, spell, or word spoken against this dear parent and son is broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. We ask that You cover them with Your protection and fill their home with Your presence and truth. We pray for this son, that You would touch his body and bring him to a healthy weight in a safe and sustainable way, giving him strength, motivation and wisdom each day. Heal his heart from every past hurt, trauma and rejection, and let him experience Your love and wholeness. Lead them both to walk closely with Jesus, to know Your Word, and to live in the freedom Christ has purchased. We ask all this in Jesus name, amen.

If your son is struggling, walk with him with grace and encouragement, helping him make steady, healthy choices and reminding him that God loves him deeply and has good plans for his future.

We have heard your cry for deliverance and we take it before the throne of grace with you.
You ask that every curse against you and your son should be ended. Know that the heaviest curse that can rest upon any of us is the curse of the broken law, declared of old on Mount Ebal, the rolling thunder of threatened wrath against sin. But our deliverance from the curse is by a price paid, not by a moral change in us alone but by a redemptive work for us. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. In our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of it. There is no deliverance from any true curse except through Him who hung upon the tree, and looking to Him as Israel looked to the brazen serpent, there is life and healing. If you are in Christ, no curse can hold you, for He has borne it, and if you are not yet resting in Him, we entreat you to look to Him now, for God has found a ransom and that ransom is His own Son.
We pray also for your son, that the Lord who brings forth His people with His own hand and outstretched arm would grant him safe and steady health of body. We ask that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing beneath His wings, and that the leaves of that healing tree, of which the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, would be applied to his frame and to his spirit. The Lord can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and He can give wisdom for daily bread and daily walk, that weight may be lost safely and strength renewed.
And for healing from past hurts, we remember that pardon and healing are one. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. The joy of pardon makes us forget the sorrow of the past, and the inhabitant of Zion shall not say, I am sick, for the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. May the Lord blot out all past sin and brighten the future into the full blaze of eternal glory for you both, and may past wounds be healed by those healing leaves which make the soul fresh as a newborn child.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who alone works deliverance, we plead the blood of Christ made a curse for us, and ask that every chain be broken for this dear one and for her son. Bring them forth by Your power and enrich them with Your grace. Grant to this son health of body, temperance and strength, and healing of mind and heart from all former griefs. Let him not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Redeemer. Amen.
