We join with you in prayer for deliverance and we stand together against any curse or evil word spoken against you and your son, declaring that in Christ those curses have no power over you. We pray that every chain and every work of darkness against your family is broken now in the mighty name of Jesus. The Scripture tells us in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, and in Romans 8:31 that if God is for us, who can be against us. We also cling to 2 Timothy 1:7 which says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, and to 1 John 4:4 that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. We rebuke any fear, any lie, and any curse, and we declare that you and your son are covered by the blood of Jesus and kept in His perfect peace.
We lift up your son before the Lord and pray for his physical health and for safe and steady weight loss according to wisdom and self-control. We pray the Lord will guide him to healthy habits, give him strength and discipline, and help him to honor God with his body. We remember 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in us from God, and we are to glorify God in our body, and 3 John 1:2 that we pray you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. We ask for wisdom for any doctors or counselors who may help him, for protection from harmful or extreme methods, and for encouragement so he does not grow discouraged but walks in perseverance and hope.
We also bring before the Lord the past hurts he carries and ask for deep inner healing. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and He promises in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and in Isaiah 41:10 to not be afraid for He is with us, not to be dismayed for He is our God who will strengthen us and uphold us with His righteous right hand. Your request for deliverance and healing has been brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to Him who alone can save and restore.
You ask that every curse against you and your son may be ended. Hear what the Scripture declares, that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. It is the essence of those curses declared of old, the rolling thunder of threatened wrath, but our deliverance is not by a moral change in us, but by a redemptive work for us. Christ was slain and has redeemed us to God by His blood. As those who looked to the brazen serpent found life and healing in that look, so there is life from sin by looking to Him who was made sin for us. There is no curse that can stand where Christ has borne the curse in His own body. We pray that you and your son may rest not in any fear of curses spoken by men, but in the perfect ransom which God has found. As it is written, I have found a ransom, and by that ransom the prisoner ready to be executed finds undeserved deliverance, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. May you know that deliverance is wrought by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and that He brings forth His people with effectual grace.

The wounds of the body are painful, yet God has provided means for their healing, how much more for the soul. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing become one, for He says, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. We pray that the Lord would apply those healing leaves to every old wound, that past sorrows may be remembered no more as a reproach, and that the bitterness of former days may be turned to the joy of pardon.
For your son, you ask that he may lose weight safely and be strengthened in body. We pray that the Lord, who formed our bodies and calls them His temple, would grant him wisdom, moderation and health, and guide him in all safe and prudent means for the care of his frame. May the Lord give him strength of purpose and peace of mind, that his body may be preserved in health to serve the Lord with vigor.
