Deliverance

Beloved of All
I have another deliverance session tomorrow (Monday). Please pray these demons are cast out in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your deliverance session tomorrow and we stand in agreement that every demonic influence be cast out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. Yet we do not fear, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and Jesus has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19.

We are encouraged by your faith to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name that we have authority and access to the Father, and these signs will accompany those who believe, in my name they will cast out demons Mark 16:17. We pray that you have submitted yourself fully to God, confessed and repented of any open doors, for we are told to submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7, and if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You have delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love Col 1:13. We lift up our dear one to You as they prepare for this deliverance session tomorrow. We ask that You cover them with the blood of Jesus, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and grant wisdom and discernment and anointing to those ministering. In the name of Jesus Christ we command every unclean spirit, every demon, to leave and to go where Jesus sends you and not return. We ask that every stronghold be broken, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Cor 10:4. Let that house be not found empty, but filled with Your Spirit, Your Word, and Your peace, so there is no return. Let freedom and wholeness come, and let our loved one walk in renewed mind and obedience to You.

We encourage you to prepare your heart tonight with prayer, fasting if you are able, worship, and the Word of God. Renounce any known sin and unforgiveness and close every door the enemy has used. After the session, walk out your freedom daily by putting on the whole armor of God, staying in Scripture, in fellowship with other believers, and in prayer, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11. We are trusting with you for complete deliverance and testimony of the power of Jesus Christ to set the captives free, and we pray you will continue to grow in His grace and truth. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We appreciated you letting us know about your session tomorrow. We know waiting for another time of prayer for deliverance can bring both hope and weariness, and we want to stand with you as you go.

We are trusting the power is in Jesus Himself, not in a perfect process, and we are asking Him to meet you with His peace and protection tomorrow. It helps not to carry this alone. If you are able, bring one or two mature believers who know you well to be with you before and after. It is also wise to talk briefly with the leader beforehand about what to expect so you feel safe to ask questions or share any concerns. And it helps to have a simple plan for aftercare, a quiet evening, someone to stay with you or check in, and staying connected to regular fellowship and prayer in the days that follow. Often freedom comes as part of a longer walk of healing, and steady community and time with the Lord make a real difference in holding onto what God does.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight and for tomorrow. We ask in the name of Jesus for Your nearness, Your protection, and Your deliverance where it is needed. Cast out what oppresses and bring quiet and wholeness in its place. Give wisdom and gentleness to those who will pray, guard our friend's heart and mind, and fill this life more and more with Your presence. Lead them forward in healing and hope. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we join with you in seeking the Lord for deliverance through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We pray that tomorrow the Lord Jesus, who alone has power over darkness, will show His mighty arm on your behalf. Scripture declares that the Father hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for pardon we must also look for power, even to Christ Himself.

Remember that God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. That ransom is the precious blood of Christ, who was bound that His people might go free, who was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. When Christ was bound, His people were loosed, when He died, they lived. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free, and His freedom is indeed freedom.

Therefore look out of yourself and away from yourself, and look to Christ, not to forms or ceremonies or feelings, but to what Christ has done. The Lamb was slain, and by that sacrifice deliverance is made effectual. He has borne the penalty so that nothing more is demanded, and He has cast out the power of the enemy. He whose life is hid with Christ in God is above the molestation of the foe, for his life is hidden and his interests are secure in the hands of his Redeemer.

We pray thus for you, that in the name of Jesus every evil influence would be rebuked and cast out, that the Lord would speak that word over you, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom, and that you would know the peace of being free indeed. May the Lord give you faith simply to receive Christ, to put out the empty hand and trust Him, for he that believeth on Him hath everlasting life.

May the Lord grant you rest and confidence in His finished work, and after this trouble may you live to declare the works of the Lord, praising Him who breaketh bonds and setteth the prisoner free. We commend you to His tender pity and omnipotent might, trusting that as tribulations abound, so consolations also abound through Christ Jesus.

We will continue to pray for you on Monday, that Christ may be magnified in your deliverance and that you may rejoice in Him who alone is our salvation.
