Deliverance

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have another deliverance session tomorrow (Monday). Please pray these demons are cast out in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your deliverance session tomorrow and we stand in agreement that every demonic influence be cast out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. Yet we do not fear, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and Jesus has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19.

We are encouraged by your faith to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name that we have authority and access to the Father, and these signs will accompany those who believe, in my name they will cast out demons Mark 16:17. We pray that you have submitted yourself fully to God, confessed and repented of any open doors, for we are told to submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7, and if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You have delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love Col 1:13. We lift up our dear one to You as they prepare for this deliverance session tomorrow. We ask that You cover them with the blood of Jesus, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and grant wisdom and discernment and anointing to those ministering. In the name of Jesus Christ we command every unclean spirit, every demon, to leave and to go where Jesus sends you and not return. We ask that every stronghold be broken, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Cor 10:4. Let that house be not found empty, but filled with Your Spirit, Your Word, and Your peace, so there is no return. Let freedom and wholeness come, and let our loved one walk in renewed mind and obedience to You.

We encourage you to prepare your heart tonight with prayer, fasting if you are able, worship, and the Word of God. Renounce any known sin and unforgiveness and close every door the enemy has used. After the session, walk out your freedom daily by putting on the whole armor of God, staying in Scripture, in fellowship with other believers, and in prayer, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11. We are trusting with you for complete deliverance and testimony of the power of Jesus Christ to set the captives free, and we pray you will continue to grow in His grace and truth. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We appreciated you letting us know about your session tomorrow. We know waiting for another time of prayer for deliverance can bring both hope and weariness, and we want to stand with you as you go.

We are trusting the power is in Jesus Himself, not in a perfect process, and we are asking Him to meet you with His peace and protection tomorrow. It helps not to carry this alone. If you are able, bring one or two mature believers who know you well to be with you before and after. It is also wise to talk briefly with the leader beforehand about what to expect so you feel safe to ask questions or share any concerns. And it helps to have a simple plan for aftercare, a quiet evening, someone to stay with you or check in, and staying connected to regular fellowship and prayer in the days that follow. Often freedom comes as part of a longer walk of healing, and steady community and time with the Lord make a real difference in holding onto what God does.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight and for tomorrow. We ask in the name of Jesus for Your nearness, Your protection, and Your deliverance where it is needed. Cast out what oppresses and bring quiet and wholeness in its place. Give wisdom and gentleness to those who will pray, guard our friend's heart and mind, and fill this life more and more with Your presence. Lead them forward in healing and hope. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we join with you in seeking the Lord for deliverance through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We pray that tomorrow the Lord Jesus, who alone has power over darkness, will show His mighty arm on your behalf. Scripture declares that the Father hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for pardon we must also look for power, even to Christ Himself.

Remember that God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. That ransom is the precious blood of Christ, who was bound that His people might go free, who was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. When Christ was bound, His people were loosed, when He died, they lived. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free, and His freedom is indeed freedom.

Therefore look out of yourself and away from yourself, and look to Christ, not to forms or ceremonies or feelings, but to what Christ has done. The Lamb was slain, and by that sacrifice deliverance is made effectual. He has borne the penalty so that nothing more is demanded, and He has cast out the power of the enemy. He whose life is hid with Christ in God is above the molestation of the foe, for his life is hidden and his interests are secure in the hands of his Redeemer.

We pray thus for you, that in the name of Jesus every evil influence would be rebuked and cast out, that the Lord would speak that word over you, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom, and that you would know the peace of being free indeed. May the Lord give you faith simply to receive Christ, to put out the empty hand and trust Him, for he that believeth on Him hath everlasting life.

May the Lord grant you rest and confidence in His finished work, and after this trouble may you live to declare the works of the Lord, praising Him who breaketh bonds and setteth the prisoner free. We commend you to His tender pity and omnipotent might, trusting that as tribulations abound, so consolations also abound through Christ Jesus.

We will continue to pray for you on Monday, that Christ may be magnified in your deliverance and that you may rejoice in Him who alone is our salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer before your deliverance session tomorrow has been heard and we are joining with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord who has power to stop the mouths of demons and to cast out all error and sorcery to command every evil influence to leave you and to set you free completely.

We pray also for that greater deliverance which God most desires, which is freedom from sin itself. Sin is the great demon that must be driven out, and to be cleansed from it is a greater work than the casting out of ten thousand demons. So we ask Christ to wash you, to forgive you and to strengthen you to keep His commandments and to walk in love. Nothing is so pleasing to God as a pure and faithful life, and it is by keeping His word and abiding in love that we become His friends and show that our names are written in heaven.

May the Lord give you peace and courage and faith tomorrow. May He guard your heart and mind, keep you close to Himself as Peter and James and John remained with Him, and fill you with His Spirit and truth. We pray that after this session you will continue in that excellent course of life, rooted in Scripture, in prayer and in love for God and for others, by His grace.

We commit you into the hands of Jesus Christ, asking that He will bring full deliverance, grant you safety and security in Him, and lead you forward in holiness and joy. Amen.

I am praying for you in the name of Jesus, who alone has authority over every evil spirit. When He cast out demons, some accused Him of doing it by evil power, but He answered with simple reasoning. If evil were casting out evil, its kingdom would be divided. It was by the finger of God that He drove them out, and that showed the kingdom of God had come. There is no other power that can truly set a person free.

Scripture also gives a warning that is important for you to hear. When an unclean spirit leaves a person, it is restless and seeks a place to rest. If a life is only emptied but not filled, that emptiness can become an open door for greater trouble. Deliverance is not complete by only driving something out. There must be a filling, the Holy Spirit coming to live within, Christ Himself taking residence in the heart through faith. Without that, going from one time of prayer for deliverance to another can be harmful rather than helpful. The most important question is whether Jesus Christ dwells in you by faith, whether you have turned from sin and trusted Him alone for salvation and are walking with Him daily.

That is why prayer is so central. Jesus Himself, though He is the Son of God, rose early to seek the Father in prayer and drew strength from that communion. How much more do we need it. Real prayer is not a long performance or repeated words to get our wishes granted. It is worship, it is recognizing how great God is, and then bringing our needs to Him with the heart that says not my will but Yours be done. It is pouring out your complaint honestly before Him, telling Him the trouble as you see it, and then letting His Spirit minister assurance and comfort to you while you pray. Many of the psalms show this pattern. David would pour out his sorrow and fear, he would even ask his own soul why it was cast down and anxious, and he would remind himself that the reason for that heaviness was that he had left God out of the equation. When he put God back in, when he cast his burden on the Lord, he found that God sustains those who trust Him. You are invited to do the same, to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you, to let your cares become your prayers with thanksgiving and to trust Him to establish you.

The disciples once could not cast out a demon even though they had been given authority, and Jesus told them it was because of unbelief, and that this kind of spiritual battle is faced only through prayer and through trusting God with faith even as small as a mustard seed. That reminds us that freedom is not a technique or a ritual performed by others. It is the work of God in response to faith in Christ, nurtured by prayer and dependence on Him.

So I am asking the Lord to show you His light and His truth and to lead you, to shine His light on any darkness and to fill every part of your life with His presence. I am praying that any evil influence would be driven out by the power of Jesus Christ, and that you would be filled with the Holy Spirit and strengthened in faith, and that you would know the peace that comes from casting your whole burden on Him and resting in His will.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this dear one before You. You know the struggle and the fear and the desire to be free. I ask that by Your power You would rebuke every evil spirit and drive it out, and that You would fill this life with Your Holy Spirit. Give faith where there has been unbelief, give assurance where there has been anxiety, and teach this heart to pour out every care before You and to walk in Your light and truth. Let Christ dwell richly within, and let Your kingdom rule. Sustain and keep this one in Your care, and let Your will be done. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord Himself each day in prayer and in His Word, trust in Jesus alone, and walk in obedience to Him. If you have not clearly surrendered your life to Christ, do so now, and if you are already His, invite Him afresh to rule every room of your heart.
