The curses spoken over your son have no final authority, because Jesus became a curse for us when he was lifted up on the tree. The law announced real judgment against sin, but Christ bore that judgment in his own body. So I ask the Father to silence every curse aimed at you and at your son now, and to remove any claim the enemy tries to make. May no harmful word settle on him. May the blessing that belongs to those who trust and obey Jesus take its place.

For his body, I pray for safe, steady weight loss, not driven by shame or harshness but by wisdom and care. God does not promise us immunity from every sickness or struggle, but he is present in it, and at times he works directly to restore what sin has broken. Ask him for physical healing and practical help. I pray your son will find the strength to change habits gently, that he will not be crushed by the process, and that his body will be strengthened.

Most of all, I pray for healing from past hurts. Only Jesus has power to forgive sins and to heal the wounds they leave. Your son does not need to carry old guilt or old pain as if it still defines him. The Son was lifted up for him, as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness, so that looking to him brings healing. I ask that every memory that still stings be brought under the cross, that he would know he is loved, and that he would receive the Father's care even where human love failed.
