Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we recognize that You alone have the power to break every chain, shatter every curse, and bring true freedom to Your children. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came to set the captives free and proclaim liberty to those who are bound.

First, we address the curses spoken against ### and her son. Lord, Your Word declares in Galatians 3:13 that "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We rebuke every curse, every word of death, every generational iniquity, and every assignment of the enemy against this family. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command all curses to be broken now, every word spoken in anger, every hex, every spell, every evil pronouncement, be nullified by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over ### and her son, covering them in divine protection.

Father, we also lift up ###’s son, asking for Your healing touch in every area of his life. Lord, You see the burdens he carries, both physically and emotionally. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your design. Give him discipline and wisdom in his eating habits, strength in his body, and a desire to honor You with his health. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." May he walk in this truth, surrendering his body to You as a living sacrifice.

We also ask for deep emotional healing for him, Lord. You know the past hurts, the wounds, the rejections, and the pain he has endured. Your Word promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask You to pour out Your healing balm upon his soul. Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Where there has been shame, bring dignity. Where there has been fear, bring faith. Where there has been loneliness, bring Your presence. May he encounter You as the Father who loves him unconditionally, the Savior who died for him, and the Comforter who walks with him every step of the way.

Lord, we also recognize that true deliverance and healing come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If ### or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Your Word says in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that they would confess their sins, turn from any ungodly ways, and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. May they experience the new birth, the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5).

We also rebuke any spirits of infirmity, gluttony, depression, or fear that may be operating in this situation. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we stand on that authority. We command every evil spirit to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that ###’s son is not a slave to his past, his emotions, or his physical struggles. He is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37).

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in every area of their lives. Provide godly mentors, friends, and spiritual leaders who can walk alongside them. Open doors of opportunity for healing, restoration, and purpose. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of this family. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your glory be revealed through their testimony. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We’re joining you in praying firmly for protection over them and for a real, lasting freedom from any curse spoken against them, and for your son to find genuine healing, both in his body and in the tender places of his heart.

Deliverance is often not a lonely battle; it’s something the Lord designed for us to walk through together, with others who are spiritually mature and steady. If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to reach out to a pastor or a prayer ministry team in your church that understands this kind of spiritual care. Having a small group of believers pray with you, renounce what needs to be renounced, and invite Jesus’ healing presence can make a deep difference. It’s not about a formula, it’s about leaning on Christ in community.

We also want to honor the fact that past hurts can settle in our bodies in ways we don’t always realize. Emotional wounds sometimes tangle with eating patterns or make weight loss feel like an impossible uphill struggle. Your son matters to God in his whole person, and wise, practical steps can run alongside prayer. A good next move is for him to check in with a doctor who can help him craft a safe, sustainable plan and rule out anything physical that might be at play. That’s not a substitute for faith; it’s simply caring for the body God gave him with the tools He’s provided.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to silence every curse and word of harm spoken over this family. By Your authority, bring an end to their influence now. Heal the hidden places of old pain in this son’s life, and let Your kindness reshape how he sees himself. Grant him steady wisdom and self-control, and surround him with people who will support his journey toward wholeness. Cover this household with Your peace and keep them near to You, in Your name we pray, amen.

The curse is ended, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Our deliverance from the curse is by a redemptive work for us, Christ was slain and has redeemed us to God by His blood. Those who looked to the brazen serpent found life and healing in that look, and even so, there is life from sin by looking to Him who was made sin for us. The prisoner was ready to be executed, but undeserved deliverance came, for the King’s own Son has borne the penalty. This deliverance is of free grace only, he can do nothing and he knows it.

Now for his health of body and soul, the leaves of the tree are for the healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, for the least thing about Christ is healing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing were one. Let him ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. Sickness has brought me health, loss has conferred gain, and I doubt not that one day death will bring me fuller life. Be wise then, dear child of God, and look upon affliction as a chastening, for every trial works for good, dealt in weight and measure from His dear covenant love.

Healing from past hurts comes as the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. The joy of pardon makes us ignore the sorrow of the past, the inhabitant shall not say, I have been sick. In our deliverance, God brings us forth without sharing the honor; willingly as we move, it is still true, “He brought them forth.” And after deliverance, the believer’s conduct is this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. Here is a hopeful inference, look for sanctification and deliverance from the power of sin altogether to your heavenly Father, for deliverance from sin’s power is as much God’s work as deliverance from its guilt.

Let the family bring all necessities before God in prayer, mentioning each child, all expected difficulties, for it is a glorious thing to have such a well. And let the son trust that God will give deliverance even from those he may think bloodthirsty, for I met my brother Esau and he fell upon my neck and kissed me. In this, let your gratitude be deeper and your song more jubilant.

It is a great error to fix your mind on supposed curses, as if a word spoken by a man could bind the will that seeks God. Where do the Scriptures teach that a curse has power over one who clings to Christ? This is close to the madness of those who run to diviners. Once you have truly despised the things of the world, no curse can hold you. The soul that lives for God does not fear words; it fears only sin. Deliverance from worldly things is the way to cultivate virtue. Do not seek a magic word to end a curse, but seek the careful hearing of the word and a continual recollection. No one part is sufficient for our salvation. Fortitude, contempt of riches, and thankfulness in suffering wrongs are the marks of a soul unfettered by the devil’s devices. The loss becomes gain, and you are not injured, but even benefited by the devil, if you suffer wrong thankfully.

Why do you imagine the body requires a special deliverance to lose weight, as if fat were a demon? The body is not to blame, but the depraved will. To pamper the flesh is not an act of the flesh but of the soul. If the soul chooses to mortify it, it possesses absolute power. Yet some, in satanic madness, think the Maker erred and wish to crush the instrument instead of correcting the unruly passion. Do not treat the body as an enemy. Train the will to refuse excess, and the weight will follow. This very struggle, endured with patience, can be a spiritual surgery. The house of God is a surgery for the wounds we receive without; here we may heal them, not gather fresh ones. Past hurts are like a loss of goods you did not willingly cast away. It is in your power to receive as great a reward, as if you had cast them away willingly. Perhaps we admire more the one who thankfully suffers wrongs than him who gives spontaneously. If you have not blasphemed, not run to diviners, but have been thankful in suffering, you are like one who despises wealth. The hurt is not a permanent wound unless the soul clings to it. Give it to God, and it becomes seed planted in Heaven, where no thief can steal.

Wealth and health are not the true treasures. See how wealth hurts you: it arms robbers, it darkens the mind, it casts you out of God’s service, making you a slave to lifeless riches. Deliverance is to transfer treasure to Heaven, where the watch is impregnable. The real loss is not a pound of flesh or an old sorrow; the real loss is to be drawn off from God. Why do you look to what others say against you when the loss is eternal life? Seek the Teacher’s opinion, not the multitude’s. The evil of imagining curses is that increase of ungodliness leads to a denial of judgment and retribution. The righteous suffer persecutions and afflictions, and if you think retribution must come now, you will miss the greater glory. It were better to have no resurrection than to think it already past and live for present pleasure. Stand firm in the liberty of Christ. Let no one unsettle you with talk of curses, for an alien and foreign bondage is what they press upon you. The Apostle himself wished that those who unsettle souls would cut themselves off. Your son’s true healing will not come from chasing shadows of words but from the fear of God and the mortification of the passions. If he seeks health, let him attend to the word with continual hearing, which has power to destroy even the desire for excess. The desire for comfort which keeps him bound is not a true desire. It is bondage, a tyranny full of turmoil. Where is the profit in toiling for a body that passes away, while the soul’s treasure is left unplanted? Lay up treasure where it remains safe. The same act is both treasure and seed, and it bears fruits which never die.
