We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, for You are our strong tower and refuge. In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every curse, generational bondage, and assignment of darkness that has been spoken, invoked, or attached to this mother and her son. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, gluttony, shame, and trauma that has taken root in their past. The blood of Jesus has already paid the price for their freedom, and we stand in that victory today.
The Word declares in Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." We claim this redemption over their lives. Every spoken word, hex, or ungodly soul tie that has held them captive is nullified by the power of the cross. We command every lying spirit to flee, and we seal this family in the blood of Jesus, where no weapon of the enemy can penetrate.
For this precious son, we pray for a complete transformation of body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every cell of his being. We ask for Your healing touch to restore his metabolism, balance his hormones, and renew his strength. Help him to lose weight in a way that honors You, not through fad diets or worldly measures, but through discipline, self-control, and trust in Your provision. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." May he find his worth and identity in Christ alone, not in his appearance or the opinions of others.
We also pray for healing from the past, every wound, rejection, or trauma that has shaped his relationship with food, his body, or his emotions. Isaiah 61:1-3 proclaims, "The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound... to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." We claim this promise for him. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
To the mother who cries out for her son, we say this: Your love and intercession are powerful, but your hope must be anchored in Jesus alone. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There is no deliverance or lasting healing outside of Christ. If you have already placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to stand firm in His promises, even when the battle feels long.
We also caution against seeking deliverance through worldly means, psychics, energy healers, or any practice that does not align with Scripture. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." True freedom comes only through the name of Jesus and the power of His Word.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You that by His stripes, this family is healed, and by His blood, they are set free. We break every curse, generational sin, and assignment of darkness over their lives. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned. We cancel every word spoken in anger, bitterness, or witchcraft that has sought to bind them.
For this son, we pray for a supernatural transformation. Lord, give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, not for the temporary satisfaction of food. Renew his mind with Your truth, that he may see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made. Strengthen his body, balance his hormones, and restore his metabolism. Help him to walk in discipline, not as a burden, but as an act of worship to You. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in his journey.
For the mother, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding. Guard her heart from fear, anxiety, and despair. Remind her that You are the God who sees, and You are working all things together for good. Give her wisdom to parent with grace and truth, and help her to model a life of faith and dependence on You.
We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that the enemy has no legal right to their lives. They are covered, protected, and set apart for Your glory. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, just as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
