We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before You, our Almighty God. Father, Your Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We stand on this truth, believing that through the blood of Jesus, every curse spoken, inherited, or sent against ### and her son is broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We rebuke every assignment of darkness, every generational curse, and every spirit of infirmity that has sought to oppress them. We declare that they are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also bring before You the physical and emotional needs of ###'s son. We ask for Your divine intervention in his health, that he may lose weight safely and in a way that honors You. Guide him in making wise choices regarding his diet and exercise, and strengthen his body to function as You designed. Your Word tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We claim this promise for him, trusting that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also lift up the past hurts that may be weighing on his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every wound, every memory of pain, and every place where trust has been broken. Pour out Your love and peace upon him, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose and plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11). Help him to release bitterness, forgive those who have hurt him, and walk in the freedom that Christ died to give him (Ephesians 4:31-32).

We also want to gently address the importance of coming to You through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If ### or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day they invite Him into their hearts as Lord and Savior. Salvation is found in no one else, and we pray they would experience the fullness of life that comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear your urgency for your son, and we stand with you in prayer. When you sense spiritual opposition pressing in, it can be immensely helpful to reach out to a mature pastor or prayer minister at your church. The desire for safe weight loss and deep healing from past hurts matters so much. Encourage your son to see a doctor who can guide a gentle, sustainable plan for his physical health; that’s a wise and godly step alongside our petitions. For those old wounds, many have discovered that inner healing prayer, inviting Jesus gently into painful memories with a trusted pastor or counselor, can bring real comfort and release. Your son doesn’t have to carry it all alone.

We join you now: Father, in Jesus’ name we ask that every curse or spiritual attack directed against this young man be silenced and shattered right now. Cover him with your protection and peace. Grant him the wisdom and steady discipline to care for his body in a healthy way, and bless the hands of any professionals who come alongside him. Lord, we ask for the deep, tender healing of his past hurts. May your Spirit meet every broken place with your restoring love, and may he walk forward in wholeness and hope. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The cry for deliverance from curses is a cry that must drive us to the one place where the curse was utterly consumed. You speak of ending curses against your son, but know this: every soul born of woman comes into the world under the curse of the law, for it is written, "Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." Yet the glad tidings ring out clear, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. The manner of our deliverance is this: He stood in our place, bore our sins, and the curse that belonged to them fell upon Him. If you would see every curse ended, look not to any incantation or word of man, but look to the brazen serpent lifted up. There is life from sin and death from the curse by looking to Him who was made sin for us. The eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed this ransom, and He hath found it. It is a gift of divine love, and the clock of mercy struck the hour of deliverance when the Lamb was slain.

For the son for whom your heart aches, the healing he seeks for body and soul must flow from the same fount. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, the least thing about Christ is charged with healing virtue. Do not separate the healing of past hurts from the pardon of sin, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises, He brings healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one. The inhabitant shall not say, "I am sick," for the joy of pardon makes us forget the sorrow of the past. As for the weight that burdens him, bring this care to the Lord, for the very hairs of your head are numbered, and our heavenly Father knows our frame. Yet seek first the deliverance of his soul from the power of darkness. Sanctification and wholeness are as much the work of God as justification; where we look for the one, there we must look for the other. The safe shelter beneath the wings of the Almighty covers every loss, every struggle, and every slander that would paralyze effort. He that spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Be much in prayer, and wait upon the Lord with expectation, for the hand that brought Israel forth with silver and gold is stretched out still.

The curses spoken against you and your son: these are the wrongs you suffer. Do not rush to diviners or counter-curses, for that is to be injured by the devil. Instead, be thankful in the suffering of wrong, for it is in your power to receive a reward as great as if you had willingly cast away all your goods. The loss becomes gain. You have not blasphemed. You have sought the church. You are like one who despises earthly security. Suffer this wrong thankfully, and you will not be injured, but even benefited.

Regarding your son's body, it is a spiritual surgery we enter here, not to gather fresh wounds, but to heal old ones. If you imagine the body is a traitor that must be forced into submission by panic, you accuse the Creator and act with satanic madness. It is the unruly passion of the soul that must be corrected. For if the soul chooses to mortify the flesh, it possesses absolute power. To pamper the body is not the flesh's act, but the soul's sin. Therefore, do not merely seek a safe lessening of weight, for that is a desire full of bondage and darkness. Seek rather to plant his treasure in heaven. The same act is both treasure and seed, bearing fruits that never die. Let him give his will to God, who gives the promise of security, not men.

For the healing of past hurts, recall that he is not a healer who wounds some and heals others. Heal therefore the evil acts done to you, not by wounding in return, but by raising up the one who is cast down. If the Son says He will lose nothing, no hurt can snatch him away against his will. God does not abandon. Let the son be corrected as a child capable of receiving instruction, but the deeds that unsettled him, let them be cut off. Come for surgery, and give heed to the Spirit speaking. Then you will clear away the former wounds without gathering new ones.
