We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through which all power in heaven and earth is given. There is no other name that can break chains, end curses, or bring true healing, only the name of Jesus.
Lord, we rebuke every curse, generational bondage, and spiritual oppression that has been spoken or enacted against ### and her son. The Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"" We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned, for this is their heritage as Your children (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of darkness, every assignment of the enemy, and every generational iniquity in Jesus’ mighty name. Let the blood of Jesus wash over them, purifying and protecting them from every evil influence.
Father, we pray specifically for ###’s son, that You would lead him into safe and healthy weight loss. Give him discipline to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), wisdom to make godly choices, and strength to persevere. Guard his heart and mind from discouragement, and let him see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We ask for supernatural healing in his metabolism, appetite, and emotional triggers that may contribute to his struggle. May he find joy in the journey toward health, knowing that his worth is not defined by his appearance but by his identity in Christ.
Lord, we also lift up the deep wounds of past hurts that may still linger in his heart. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring to light any unforgiveness, bitterness, or pain that has taken root, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him experience Your love in a tangible way, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and counsel who will speak life and truth into his situation.
We also address any areas where sin may have opened doors to these attacks. If there has been involvement in occult practices, unrepentant sin, or rebellion against Your Word, we pray for conviction and repentance. Your Word warns in Deuteronomy 28 that disobedience brings curses, but obedience brings blessings. We ask that ### and her son would walk in alignment with Your will, turning away from anything that grieves Your Spirit. If there has been sexual immorality, idolatry, or ungodly soul ties, we break those now in Jesus’ name and ask for Your cleansing and restoration.
Father, we pray that ### and her son would draw near to You, for You have promised to draw near to them (James 4:8). Let them experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in Your ways. May they find their hope, identity, and purpose in Christ alone. We declare that no curse, no sickness, and no past hurt has the final say over their lives, only the power of the resurrected Jesus.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and mercy. We trust that as we have prayed according to Your will, You hear us, and we have the petitions we have asked of You (1 John 5:14-15). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them see Your hand moving powerfully in their lives. May they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ died to give them.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
