We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all true deliverance and healing is built.
Father God, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ and rebuke every curse, every generational bondage, and every evil assignment that has been spoken or enacted against and her son. We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We cancel every word, every spell, every hex, and every demonic influence in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no legal right to oppress them, for they are covered by the blood of the Lamb. We command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and oppression to flee now in Jesus’ name!
Lord, we pray for ’s son, that You would bring safe and lasting weight loss according to Your will. We ask that You would heal his metabolism, regulate his appetite, and give him the discipline and strength to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Father, we also lift up the deep wounds of his past. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would bring healing to every memory, every rejection, every betrayal, and every hurt that has left a mark on his soul. Pour out Your love and peace upon him, Lord, and let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We declare that and her son are free from every curse, every burden, and every lie of the enemy. We speak life, health, and wholeness over them. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may their lives be a testimony to Your power and grace. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.
If there are areas of sin or unforgiveness in their lives, we encourage them to repent and release those burdens to the Lord. Unforgiveness can open doors to the enemy, but forgiveness in Christ brings freedom (2 Corinthians 2:10-11). We also encourage them to seek godly counsel and surround themselves with believers who can pray with them and support them in their walk with Christ.
May the Lord bless them and keep them; may He make His face shine upon them and be gracious to them; may He lift up His countenance upon them and give them peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
