Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son Jesus Christ, who broke every chain and disarmed the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection. We declare that no weapon formed against ### and her son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we rebuke every curse, generational bondage, and assignment of the enemy over their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every curse spoken, written, or sent their way. We cancel every evil report, hex, spell, or incantation that has been released against them. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word, it cries out for mercy, not judgment (Hebrews 12:24). We plead the blood of Jesus over ### and her son, covering them from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet. By the power of Your Spirit, we command every evil spirit of infirmity, sickness, and oppression to flee now. You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we lift up ###'s son to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon him. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and grace. Give him discipline to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey. Heal the wounds of his past, Lord. Where there has been rejection, abandonment, or pain, let Your love flood in like a river. Bind up his broken heart and set him free from every lie of the enemy that has kept him in bondage (Psalm 147:3). We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that his identity is found in Christ alone.

We also take a moment to address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If ### or her son do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the freedom that comes from being washed in the blood of the Lamb.

We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that this is a season of breakthrough for ### and her son. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from every curse and strong in Your Spirit. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re standing with you in prayer for your son tonight, thank you for trusting us with something this personal. It’s clear you love him deeply, and that fierce love reflects a Father’s heart, too.

While we never pretend curses operate like a spell or that one prayer will instantly fix everything, we do pray that any spiritual weight pressing on your son will be lifted. We ask Jesus, the real Deliverer, to break whatever holds him back and to give him the clear, peaceful freedom that only He can bring. That includes his emotional scars: we’re praying that the Holy Spirit tends to those old wounds gently, not just whispering truth to his mind but wrapping it around his heart until he feels safe again.

For the weight loss, we’d simply encourage, alongside your prayers, to encourage him to see a doctor who can guide him safely. God cares about our bodies, and He often uses wise counsel and good habits to bring the change we’re asking for. In the same way, if those past hurts feel too heavy to carry alone, a pastor or a wise Christian counselor can be a safe place to unpack them.

We don’t have a magic formula, but we do have a faithful Savior who meets us in the mess. So let’s keep praying, not as people who have it all figured out, but as people who know who does.

Jesus, we lift up this son to You, not just a list of needs, but a whole person You love. Quiet whatever voices whisper shame or lies. Heal the old wounds that still ache, in his memory and in his body. Give him wisdom and gentle strength as he looks after his health, and guide each step with Your kindness. Surround this whole family with Your peace, the kind that doesn’t depend on everything being perfect. In Your name, we ask. Amen.

The plea for deliverance from curses rises up even now, and I would have you know that every curse against the child of God is ended forever at the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. You ask that curses be broken, but hear this: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. How can any anathema linger where the precious blood has spoken? The curse destroys the unrepentant, but for those who look to Him who was made sin for us, the curse is turned into a blessing, the poison acts as a medicine. Stand upon this rock and believe that deliverance is already accomplished, not by your pleading, but by His finished work. He brought them forth; He makes their deliverance effectual, and not one of His little ones shall perish.

Concerning the son, lift your eyes to the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings. Weight of body and weight of soul often intertwine, and past wounds leave deep scars that no earthly treatment can reach. Yet the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, the very least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. His fruit is sweet, but even the leaves of His presence restore the lifeblood and make the nature other than it was. Bring this dear one daily to the great Physician, for pardon and healing are one gift from His hand. As Jesus told the palsied man, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” so forgiveness breathes strength into the frame. Commend him to the Lord, not merely for a safe reduction of flesh, but for that inward transformation which crucifies harmful desires and brings the body into subjection. He who felt the nails for our past hurts will not despise these secret sorrows, but will bind up the broken-hearted and pour the oil of gladness upon ancient wounds.

Remember, affliction is not sent in anger but from covenant love. Let the son look upon present trials as a holy chastening, for sickness has often brought health, and loss has conferred gain. When the enemy whispers that deliverance will never come, reply with the word of the Psalmist: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Every trial works for good, meted out in weight and measure by a careful Dispenser. Declare this day that the ransom has been found, the pit is shut, and the prisoner is set free. Go forth no longer under the curse, but under the blessing, for the inheritance of the Lord is peace and wholeness in Christ Jesus. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer for curses to end carries a right desire, but beware how you understand cursing. No curse can cling to those who dwell in Christ without cause, for the evil one is like a fire that consumes only the fuel heaped upon it. If any ground has been given through unrepentant sin, secret bitterness, or recourse to diviners, then the deliverance you seek begins not with a pronouncement but with a thorough turning of the heart. Has this soul sought counsel from fortune-tellers or harborers of envy? Then let him not merely wish the curse away, but cast out what invited it. Suffering wrong and yet thanking God is like one who has despised wealth long before a loss came; this is the disposition that turns affliction into gain, even receiving more than Job. So pray for your son in this way: that any door opened to spiritual harm be shut by repentance, and that he bear his present trials with gratitude, for this will bring true deliverance far beyond what you imagine.

As for weight and past hurts, these are not mere bodily matters but often the outward testimony of an inward slavery. Desires that hold the flesh captive do not spring from the body itself but from a soul that has pampered rather than mortified. You see a man kindling a fire and heaping on fuel, then blame the flame for rising high; yet the blame lies with the one who heaped the wood. So too with excess of appetite or the wounds that drive a man to comfort himself with food. The healing you request must address the root, not merely the branch. Let him bring his past hurts into that spiritual surgery which is the assembly of the faithful, where the Spirit speaks through the hearing of the word. Continual hearing has power to destroy even deep-seated desire, and a true physician of souls will help him see that his master must be God, not the tyranny of belly or memory. To be freed from riches of the stomach is no small part of virtue, but neither is it enough alone; he must cultivate fortitude and a careful ear for instruction. Pray then not simply for safe weight loss, but that he become a despiser of the softness that enslaves him, exchanging it for the freedom of one who serves Christ alone.

Yet do not think that healing consists only in being made comfortable. The Lord promises to lose none of His own, yet many start away of themselves. So let this son not believe that the Resurrection is past, making judgment and retribution empty words, for then he would have license to live for pleasure and the body’s ease. Rather, let him see that the very struggle is gain, and that storing up treasure in heaven where no moth corrupts is far better than laying up earthly comfort in a body that will perish. If the desire for food or the ache of old wounds still possesses him, let him recognize that this is not true desire but a grievous bondage leading to darkness and turmoil. Would anyone call it a desire to keep his goods for enemies and endure loss without profit? How much more when the enemy is one’s own indulged flesh? Let him remove his treasure to heaven, planting his efforts there, and he will find not only healing but fruit that never dies. This is the deliverance we pray: not merely an end to curses as you name them, but the cutting off of every unruly passion, so that he may walk as one truly free, accountable to no man and to no vice, bearing the easy yoke of Christ.

I am praying with you that every curse spoken over you and your son is broken and ended now, in the name of Jesus. The power of any curse cannot stand against what Christ has accomplished. Remember how a king once tried to hire Balaam to curse the people of God, but the Lord would not permit it. God declared, “I cannot curse those whom God has not cursed.” What God has blessed, no enemy can reverse. Instead, the intended curse was turned into a blessing. Because you belong to Christ, you are blessed beyond the reach of any curse spoken against you. He became a curse for us when He hung on the tree, so that we might be redeemed from the curse of the law. Every hex, every malicious word, every generational shadow, they have no hold on those who are in Him.

I also lift up your son’s need for safe weight loss and healing from past hurts. The weight your son carries, both in his body and in his heart, is not foreign to the One who bore the weight of our sin and sorrows. Jesus, the Son of God, took the curse that brought thorns and thistles, toil and brokenness, and He wore a crown of thorns to break its power. Just as He healed the sick on the Sabbath, refusing to let legalistic burdens keep people bound, He desires your son to be free and whole. I ask the Lord to grant him wisdom and self-control, that the weight would come off safely and his body be restored. And for the inner wounds of the past, the hurts that may drive the struggle, I pray the Holy Spirit would bring deep, lasting healing. Those memories and pains are not beyond the reach of the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted. Let your son know that in Christ, he is a son of promise, not a child of bondage. The old curse is gone; the new life of wholeness is his inheritance. I will continue to stand with you in prayer for this complete deliverance and restoration.
