Deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the breaker of every chain, the healer of every wound, and the restorer of all things. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we stand against every curse that has been spoken, invoked, or released against this mother and her son. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (Isaiah 54:17, 2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord Jesus, we rebuke every generational curse, every word of death, sickness, or failure that has sought to cling to them. We break every assignment of the enemy over their lives, their health, their minds, and their futures. We speak life, blessing, and freedom over them, for it is written that Christ became a curse for us so that we might receive the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3:13-14). We declare that they are redeemed from every curse and walk in the fullness of Your grace and favor.

Father, we lift up this precious son, asking for Your divine intervention in his health. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and design. Strengthen his body, renew his mind, and fill him with discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Guide him in making choices that honor You, choices that nourish his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Heal him from any past hurts, traumas, or emotional wounds that may have contributed to his struggles. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also address the spiritual foundation of this request. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this mother or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to You, Lord, we pray that they would do so today. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, no true deliverance or lasting healing can take root.

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in their lives. Fill them with Your presence, comfort them in their struggles, and lead them into all truth. We declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7) and that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We speak restoration over their bodies, minds, and spirits, and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ.

In the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every lying spirit, every spirit of infirmity, and every spirit of bondage to leave them now. We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare that no curse, no sickness, and no weapon of the enemy shall prevail against them. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, Your love, and Your power that is at work within them. May they walk in the fullness of Your purpose, free from every chain, and overflowing with Your peace and joy. Amen.

We hear how much you love your son and how you long for freedom and healing for both of you. Carrying the weight of unseen chains and past hurts is exhausting, and we’re grateful you shared this with us.

We join you in asking God to put an end to every curse spoken over you and your son. No darkness has the last word, Jesus has authority over all of it. Sometimes breaking those spiritual bonds happens most clearly when we invite others to stand with us in prayer. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a trusted pastor or prayer minister who is experienced in deliverance ministry. Meeting together with mature believers in a focused way can help you both walk through renunciation, forgiveness, and the freedom Christ already won.

As for your son, we pray for his safe weight loss and the healing of whatever marks his past has left behind. A wise step alongside prayer is to ask a doctor or a nutritionist to guide the weight loss in a way that respects his body. And when emotional wounds run deep, a compassionate Christian counselor can be a gift, someone who can help him bring those painful memories into the light of Jesus’ presence without shame.

We’re praying alongside you now.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to break every curse over this mother and her son. Silence every voice that speaks against them, and cover them with Your protection. Bring healing to deep places, physically, emotionally, spiritually. Grant wisdom for safe, healthy change, and comfort for old pain. Hold them steady in Your love, and lead them to the right help at the right time. In Your powerful name we pray, amen.

The burden you carry is heavy, and the enemy would have you believe these curses cling to you as chains that cannot be broken. But hear this, there is a voice that silences every accusation, a hand that shatters every curse. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. If you are in Him, no curse can stand against you, for His cross has drained the poison from every arrow of the evil one. That dark suggestion that God has forsaken you or your son is the very fiery dart I have often warned against, a lie from the pit, forged in the malice of the prince of darkness. He would make you think the shadows are permanent, but the Light of the world has overcome them. Rise now, and by faith lay hold of the promise: the Lord brings His people forth with silver and gold, and there is not one feeble person among their tribes.

For your son, look not to worldly schemes as though the arm of flesh could accomplish what only the Great Physician can ordain. Weight of body is a trifle compared to the weight of guilt, and yet our tender Saviour cares for the whole man, body, soul, and spirit. Bring him often to the wells of salvation, to drink deeply of the Water of Life. There are healing leaves from the Tree of Life for every scar of the past; the wounds that haunt his memory are not beyond the reach of that balm. But take heed, do not let haste become a new snare. Safe loss of excess flesh comes by wisdom, temperance, and committing the body to the Lord as a living sacrifice. Pray more for his soul’s health than his body’s size, and trust that the same God who forgives all iniquities heals all diseases in His time and way. The past is a record only the blood of Jesus can silence; do not let it echo through your home.

You ask for the curses to end, then hear the glad tidings: they are already ended for every soul hidden in Christ. The pit of destruction has no claim on those ransomed by the Redeemer. If the Son makes you free, you are free indeed. Now walk in that liberty, and do not give your tongue to unbelief, as though the old accusations still held sway. Shut the mouth of doubt, and open wide the mouth of faith. Declare with me, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Let this be the inscription written on the doorpost of your heart: He brought us forth from the power of darkness, and our deliverance is attended with enrichment of grace and every needed mercy. Go now, and let your gratitude be seen in steady, joyful, obedient trusting.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The power of a curse is broken not when we hurl imprecations back, but when the mouth that prays is cleansed of every bitter word. For how can a tongue that has touched the Lord's Body utter curses, even against those who have wronged you? The prayer that pleads for deliverance while breathing out vengeance is a prayer that wounds the one who offers it. If you would see these curses ended, begin with your own heart. Let every prayer be joined to thanksgiving, and let forgiveness drown out the memory of injuries. The harm of the curse is not upon your son, but upon the soul that remains in accusation. Renounce every word spoken against your brother, and you loose the chains from yourself.

And what is the deliverance we seek? It is the very end for which Christ came: to redeem us from the curse of the Law and to bring us into sonship. You desire healing for your son's body and relief from the past. Know this: the promise made to Abraham was that through faith the blessing would come. The body's health is a lesser thing compared to the soul's freedom, yet the God who clothed you with Christ desires the wholeness of your whole household. Let your son learn temperance, not by the world's harsh discipline, but by seeing in you the image of God's patience. Do not make a display of your fasting or your prayers for his sake; let the Teacher instruct him through your quiet faithfulness. For if you trust the physician for the body, how much more should you trust the Healer of souls, who confirms His words with power? The same Lord who multiplied the loaves when the disciples expected nothing is able to restore what the years have eaten away, if you approach Him with faith unfeigned and a mouth free from guile.

The cry for deliverance rises from a heart that has felt the weight of what stands against you and your son. You have sensed that something is not right, a lingering shadow, a spiritual opposition, and you are right to bring it into the light. The Scriptures show us that the law, given at Sinai, came with blessings and curses. From Mount Ebal the people heard each curse cried out for disobedience, and the assembly answered, “So be it,” acknowledging the righteous judgment. The law lists them one after another: Cursed is he that fails to keep every word. And if we are honest, no one has kept it perfectly. That curse would cling to every one of us apart from a Redeemer.

But the good news is that the curse was not the final word. In the fullness of time, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, became what we deserved. On the cross He bore the curse for us. The voice of accusation fell silent when the Son of God took our place. Every curse written against you and your son was nailed there with Him. When you trust in Him, you are no longer under the law’s condemnation but adopted as a son or daughter into the Father’s family. The Spirit of His Son now lives in the hearts of believers, crying out, “Abba, Father.” You do not need to walk in fear of what once spoke judgment over your household. The curse is broken because the Son has set you free.

Believe firmly that this deliverance is already yours in Christ. The demons themselves acknowledged Jesus as the Son of God and knew that He had authority over every evil power. He can silence every voice that speaks against you and your son. Picture the centurion at the cross, a hardened man who looked at the dying Jesus and confessed, “Truly this was the Son of God.” That same Son now sits at the right hand of power, and all things are under His feet. No curse from the past, no ancestral pattern, no spoken word can withstand His name. Pray with confidence, using the authority He has given you, and expect the peace that comes from being an heir with the Son of the free woman, not a child of the bondwoman clinging to the old covenant and its shadows.

For your son, bring his need for safe weight loss and healing from his past to the same Lord. Remember that healing is not always an instant flash; the Gospels record a gradual healing in the ministry of Jesus, and many times the wholeness came through processes God already designed. The body itself is a testimony to His creative wisdom, and every step toward health is a divine work. Ask the Great Physician to guide him with wisdom, discipline, and the right support. Trust that God cares even more deeply than you do, imagine the feeling of that father who brought his mute son, desperate for relief. Jesus responded with power and compassion. He will respond to your cry as well.

Healing from the past is a genuine and necessary part of your request. You mentioned the past, and I understand that wounds and scars can linger long after the events are over. Yet God promises to blot out our sins and remember them no more. Times of refreshing come from His presence. He can heal the mind and emotions just as surely as He healed lepers or Peter’s mother-in-law. Even when physical healing is gradual, the work He does in the heart can be immediate and transformational, removing guilt, shame, and the sting of old memories. Ask Him to do that for your son, and for yourself. Do not let the past define you; the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, and He says to the paralyzed soul, “Rise, take up your bed, and walk.”

The One who declared, “I am the Son of Man, sitting at the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven,” is the same Jesus who still calms storms and casts out darkness. Pray in that name over your household. Declare that every curse is ended now, not because you have been perfect, but because He was perfect for you. Then walk in the freedom of the adopted child, leaving the old covenant of curse behind and embracing the covenant of promise. I will join you in prayer that your son experiences physical healing, gradual and safe, and that the shadows of his past are scattered by the light of Christ, who has overcome the world.
