We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all true deliverance and healing rest.
We stand firmly on the Word of God, which declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every curse, generational or otherwise, that has been spoken or enacted against this family. In the name of Jesus, we break every chain, every assignment of darkness, and every word spoken in judgment or bitterness. The blood of Jesus has set us free, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every spirit of infirmity, sickness, or oppression to flee now, in Jesus’ mighty name.
For the son mentioned here, we pray for a safe and godly release from excess weight. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray for discipline, wisdom, and self-control, which are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). May he seek the Lord for strength and guidance in this area, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We also pray for healing from past hurts—emotional, physical, or spiritual wounds that may have contributed to this struggle. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for the healing balm of Gilead to flow over his life, bringing restoration and peace.
Father God, we ask that You would surround this family with Your love and protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them from every scheme of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, filling them with hope, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, and may their lives be a testimony to Your goodness and grace. We declare that no curse shall have power over them, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by Your Spirit.
Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in their lives where they may have opened doors to the enemy—through unforgiveness, bitterness, sin, or ungodly soul ties. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the fullness of Your blessings. We pray for godly counsel and fellowship, that they would be surrounded by believers who can speak life and truth into their situation.
In Jesus’ name, we declare this family free from every curse, healed from every wound, and empowered to walk in the victory that Christ has already won. Amen.
