We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundational truth that our access to God and His power comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. This is the first step toward true freedom and healing.
Father God, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every curse that has been spoken against these precious lives. The Bible tells us that Christ became a curse for us so that we might receive the blessing (Galatians 3:13-14). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ mighty name. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse and protect them from all evil.
We pray for this young man’s physical health, asking You to guide him in safe and sustainable weight loss. Give him discipline and wisdom in his eating habits and physical activity, but above all, let him seek You for strength and motivation. Remind him that his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and help him honor You with his choices. We also ask for deep emotional healing from past hurts. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Pour out Your comfort, peace, and restoration over his heart. Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth, and let him walk in the freedom Christ died to give him.
We encourage this family to stand on God’s promises and resist the devil, for he will flee (James 4:7). Surround them with godly community, Scripture, and worship to strengthen their faith. If there are areas of unrepentant sin—whether in diet, lifestyle, or unforgiveness—we urge them to confess and turn away, for sin gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). But we also declare that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20). May they experience the fullness of Your love and deliverance.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and power. We trust You to complete the good work You’ve begun in these lives (Philippians 1:6). May they walk in victory, health, and joy, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
