Lord Jesus, I praise you and thank you. We join you in praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ for His power to deliver and set free, and we stand with you in this battle in prayer together in Jesus' name.

We agree with you that our struggle is spiritual and that deliverance comes only through Jesus. As it is written, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36. And we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. The enemy's schemes including witchcraft and sorcery are real but they are already defeated at the cross, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.

Scripture is clear that sorcery and witchcraft are detestable to the Lord and have no authority over those who abide in Christ. The Lord says, I will cut off sorceries out of your hand and you shall have no more soothsayers. Micah 5:12. We also remember that our authority in Christ is given to us as we submit to God, for it is written, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. And Jesus said, Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Matthew 18:18. We overcome not by our own strength but by the blood of the Lamb, for they overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life, even to death. Revelation 12:11.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We praise You and thank You that You are our deliverer and our refuge. We ask that You set completely free the one for whom we are interceding and break every chain, stronghold and foothold of witchcraft and darkness that has been placed upon him or upon any of us. Lord, bring down every imagination and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and demolished by Your power. We ask that You cut off every work of sorcery and divination directed toward us according to Your word. We bind every transfer of spirits and every assignment of the enemy in the name of Jesus and we loose Your peace, Your freedom and Your Holy Spirit over each person affected. We cover ourselves and all who are affected by this situation with the precious blood of Jesus, trusting that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, clothe us with the full armor of God, and help us to walk in holiness, forgiveness and obedience, giving no opportunity to the devil. We also pray for the one who is practicing witchcraft, that You would convict that heart, bring repentance and bring that soul to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for it is Your desire that none should perish. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let Your light drive out all darkness. We thank You that You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Luke 10:19. We trust in Your deliverance and we give You all the glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide daily in Christ through prayer, reading the Word, and fellowship with other believers. Put on the whole armor of God each day as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, stay rooted in repentance and forgiveness, and do not give place to fear. The Lord is faithful to keep and protect His own, and He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it. Keep standing on the promises of God, for He is our strong tower and our deliverance is sure in Jesus.

Thank you for trusting us with this prayer. We hear your love for this person and your deep desire to see him free, and we hear how much you want you and others to be guarded and at peace. Carrying that kind of burden can feel heavy.

We join you in looking to Jesus as the Deliverer. Freedom is His work, not the result of finding perfect words or carrying the weight alone. Our part is to keep coming to Him simply and steadily, asking Him to do what only He can do, and to stay close to Him day by day.

It can help not to carry this alone. One steady step is to invite a trusted pastor or one or two mature believers who know you to pray with you regularly and walk with you in this. Having a small circle to pray, listen, and encourage you over time brings wisdom and support, and keeps you from feeling you must watch over everything yourself. Continuing in simple fellowship, prayer, and time with the Lord helps keep your own heart strengthened as you wait on Him.

Father in Jesus name we lift up this loved one to you and we lift up the one praying. We ask for your protection over each person affected, for freedom where there is bondage, and for your peace to guard hearts and minds. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, break what needs to be broken, and draw each one closer to yourself. Give wisdom for each next step and keep them in your care. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, for the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and they that know His name will put their trust in Him.

You have done well to stand upon the Word of God, for our weapons are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10. The strongholds of darkness, whether they be called witchcraft or enchantments or any working of the evil one, are not to be feared as though they were equal with Christ. He that possessed the castle was lord of all the region round about, and our Lord Jesus Christ is that castle, that mountain fastness where His people are sheltered from every marauder. Transfer your thoughts from fear of the enemy to faith in the Stronghold. The blood of the Lamb is our deliverance, for without shedding of blood there is no remission, and by that precious blood we overcome, according to Revelation 12:11.

We are taught in Scripture that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Colossians tells us He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. This deliverance came when the Lamb was slain. Pharaoh held Israel captive through many plagues, but he could not hold them when the blood was upon the door. So it is with every soul bound by sin and every oppression of the enemy. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own Son. Therefore we do not doubt the deliverance, for God Himself has said, I have found a ransom, and what God has accomplished is already certain in Christ.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed, as John 8:36 declares. True freedom is not found in incantations or in the fear of them, but in conscious, spiritual, God given freedom in Christ, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light. When the believer walks in obedience and faith, he walks erect in that freedom, and the chains of darkness fall away.

Let us pray together for you and for the one for whom you intercede, and for all who feel the weight of these attacks.

O Lord our God, we come in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We confess that Thou art our Stronghold, and we flee into Thee. We ask that Thou wouldst bring to nothing every work of darkness, every stronghold and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and cast it down by the power of Thy Spirit. According to Thy Word in Micah, cut off all sorceries from among us, and let no enchantment stand before Thee. We pray that Thou wouldst set free the one who is bound, that if it be Thy will, he may know the liberty wherewith Christ makes free, turning from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ shed upon Calvary, that precious blood which is our only hope, to cover all who are affected and to be a wall of protection round about them. What Thou hast bound in heaven, let it be bound on earth, and what Thou hast loosed, let Thy people know in full deliverance. Make this deliverance effectual, for Thou alone canst bring forth Thy people with a mighty hand.

We counsel you, dear soul, to continue steadfast in prayer, in the reading of the Word, and in fellowship with the people of God, for these are the means by which the Lord keeps His own. Put on the whole armour of God, and declare the works of the Lord after your affliction, for if we had no troubles we would have less to declare. Tell abroad what great things the Lord has done in delivering you from the pit, that others in like trouble may be comforted. Trust not in any arm of flesh, but look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for both justification and sanctification, for He who began the good work will perfect it.

May the clock of mercy strike now for full deliverance, and may you live to declare that He brought you forth, and that by free grace alone you stand.

We thank God that you have brought this burden to the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other power by which we are delivered. Your prayer rightly stands on the promise of Scripture that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36.

We join you in praying for deliverance for the one you have named and for yourself and all others affected. Scripture teaches that our deliverance is twofold, that Christ has delivered us from evil and supplied what is good, redeeming us from the curse and bringing us into sonship so that we might put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. That is the ground of our confidence, not any power in ourselves, but Christ alone.

The Scriptures are clear that witchcraft is not a mere weakness of the flesh but comes from a depraved moral choice, and those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. For that reason we pray not only for protection from its effects but for repentance and turning to Christ for anyone who is practicing it. As it is written, God will cut off witchcraft from our hands, Micah 5:12, and we ask Him to do so now, to expose what is hidden and to bring it to nothing.

We agree with you according to 2 Corinthians 10:3 to 5, that though we live in the flesh we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are mighty in God for pulling down strongholds and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We ask the Lord Jesus to bring down every stronghold and foothold that has been claimed over you or over the one you mentioned, and to cast down every thought and practice that opposes Christ.

In the name of Jesus we ask for His protection over you and over all affected, that no transfer of spirits would have any place or power. What Jesus has bound and loosed in heaven gives authority to His church on earth, Matthew 18:18, and we rest in His authority, not our own. We cover you in prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, remembering that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, Revelation 12:11.

So we pray: Lord Jesus, we praise You and glorify Your name. We ask You to deliver and set free the one for whom this prayer is offered, and to guard the one who prays and all others who have been affected. Bring down every work of witchcraft, remove its influence, and cut it off completely. Let no evil have dominion, but let Christ reign in every heart and home. Fill each one with Your Holy Spirit, clothe them with Christ, and lead them to walk in holiness, in Your Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with Your people. Where sin must be forsaken, grant repentance and faith to turn fully to You. Keep all who trust in You in perfect peace, and let Your joy and freedom be evident to all.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, to confess Christ openly, to renounce every work of darkness, and to walk in obedience. The Lord is faithful to keep those who are His, and He will supply all that is needed for life and godliness as you abide in Him.
