Lord Jesus, I praise you and thank you. I glorify you, Lord Jesus I pray for my friend ### that has his plates expired on his car. He has slight autism and sometimes does not know how to take care of things like that. I asked that you bring it to the attention of his dad or his brother or somebody that can help him get his car registered so that he won’t get it impounded Lord Jesus I also asked for the light that went off in his car that he can take it to a proper mechanic lead him into how to fix the situation right now that it’s not in some negativity he could just pay for his plates. Lord stress the urgency over him so that he can look for the proper help to get his car registered in Jesus name I pray and ask amen

We join you in praising and thanking our Lord Jesus for His goodness and we lift up your friend together before the throne of grace. We are touched by your compassion and your desire to see him cared for and protected, and we thank God for your friendship to him.

We know that our God cares about every detail of our lives, even the practical matters like a car and its registration. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, and in Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we should let our requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also hear your heart for your friend who has slight autism and sometimes struggles with these kinds of responsibilities. We praise God that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, as Psalm 139:14 tells us, and that God sees him, knows him, and loves him deeply. The Lord does not overlook those who need extra help and He calls us to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ as Galatians 6:2 says.

We pray together for him now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with thanksgiving. We glorify You and we thank You for Your mercy and Your care. We lift up our dear friend to You, Lord. You know his needs and You see the situation with his car, his expired plates, and the light that has gone off. We ask that You would bring this need to the attention of his father, his brother, or another trustworthy person who can come alongside him and help him navigate getting his car properly registered and inspected so that he will not face the distress of it being impounded. Lord, lead him to a proper and honest mechanic who can help him with the light and any repairs needed, and provide for the financial cost of the plates and the work. Grant him and those helping him wisdom, as James 1:5 promises that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Give him a clear sense of urgency and peace to take the right steps, and remove any confusion or fear. We ask that You instruct him and teach him in the way he should go and counsel him with Your eye on him according to Psalm 32:8. We trust You to provide and to protect him, for You are our refuge and help in every practical need. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus to him as the Lord leads you. It is a beautiful thing to pray, and God also often uses our own gentle follow up. If you are able, consider lovingly reminding him again or even offering to help him contact his dad or brother with him, or to go with him to the proper office or mechanic, so that he is not overwhelmed. God promises in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not to lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge him, and he will direct our paths. We trust the Lord will direct your friend's path and will raise up the right help at the right time. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for his safety, for provision, and for peace.

It is a beautiful and Christlike thing to bear another's burden to the throne of grace, and your prayer for your friend is a true work of intercession. It is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts, and when a man has his heart set upon this blessed work, it makes him quick to seize every advantage that he can when he is pleading with God. You have done well to come not for yourself alone, but for one who in his weakness needs a brother's eye and a brother's hand.

We join our supplications with yours before that Friend who sticketh closer than a brother. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Sinner's Friend and the Poor Man's Friend, and it is part of His priestly office to make intercession for His people within the veil. When we pray for our fellow sinners we are in sympathy with our Divine Saviour who made intercession for the transgressors. There is no power like that of intercession, for the secret springs that move the affairs of earth are often the prayers of God's believing people.

We often know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Holy Spirit helpeth our infirmities and maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God, and He creates prayers offered in a proper manner. Therefore we may come with confidence, asking that the Lord would do for your friend what he in his infirmity cannot yet do for himself.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, our Father in heaven, we thank Thee and praise Thee for Thy mercy in Christ Jesus, through whom alone is salvation. We bring before Thee our brother's friend who is in need. Thou knowest his frame, Thou seest his need, and Thou art not unmindful of the smallest care that presses upon Thy children. We ask Thee to stir the heart of his father or his brother, or some kind and faithful person near him, to take knowledge of his need and to help him to do what is right and lawful concerning his car. Grant that his plates may be renewed in due order, that he may be kept from loss or from having his car impounded, and that no harm may come to him through neglect.

We ask Thee also concerning the light that has gone out and any fault within the vehicle. Guide him to an honest and skillful mechanic, one who will deal truthfully and not take advantage of his simplicity. Provide for him, we pray Thee, the means to pay what is required, and give him and those who love him a sense of urgency tempered with peace, that the matter may be attended to promptly and rightly.

Make us, Lord, not only to pray but to act as Thou givest opportunity, to speak a timely word, to offer practical help, and to show the love of Christ in deed as well as in prayer. Keep our friend in Thy care, let him know that there is a Friend that loveth at all times, even Jesus Christ who gave His heart's blood for sinners and who still ever liveth to make intercession for us.

These things we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our own Friend and our Father's Friend, whom we are exhorted not to forsake. Amen.

Your care for your friend shows what true friendship is, to love fervently and to pray for another as you would for yourself, and to remember him before God even in small practical needs. It is good that you have brought this burden to the Lord with persistence, for we are taught to continue in prayer and to come to Him with confidence, knowing that Jesus Christ ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him.

Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You, for You have made us and You care for every detail of our lives. We glorify You as our great High Priest who saves to the uttermost and who hears our prayers. We bring this friend before You. You know his need and the difficulty he has in managing these practical matters. We ask that in Your mercy You would move the heart of his father or his brother or another trusted person nearby to notice the expired plates and to come alongside him with gentle help, so that his car may be properly registered and he may be kept from harm or loss. Guide him to an honest and capable mechanic for the light that has come on, and give him favor and clarity to take the right steps quickly and without fear or confusion. Put a sense of quiet urgency on him and provide the means to pay what is needed, and surround him with people who love him for his good and who will remain faithful through every change. Thank you for bringing your friend before the Lord with such care and compassion. That burden you feel for him is at the heart of true intercession, when we carry another person's needs to God in prayer and not only our own. Your love for him and desire to see him helped and protected reflects the love God puts in our hearts for one another.

Sometimes when we see the practical needs around us we do not know exactly how to pray as we ought. Scripture teaches that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness in this very place. We may not have perfect words, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us according to the will of God, and the One who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit. You can rest in knowing that even when your prayer feels simple or incomplete, God hears it and the Spirit is shaping it according to His perfect will.

We also have the confidence that God loves us constantly in Christ, through good and bad, and that He is able to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. That includes the small, practical details of life that can feel overwhelming. God cares about those things, and He cares about your friend.

Let us pray together. Father, we thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy and Your constant love shown to us in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again and now lives to intercede for us at Your right hand. We bring this dear friend before You. You see his need with his car, the expired registration and the warning light, and the way these details can be confusing and stressful for him. We ask that You would prompt his father or his brother or another trusted person to come alongside him and help him take the right steps to get his car properly registered and to find an honest and capable mechanic.
