We join with you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing these heavy burdens to Him, for He hears the cries of His people and He is our deliverer and refuge.
We hear your desire for deliverance, for healing and restoration, and for protection from witchcraft and every scheme of the enemy, and we stand with you in asking the Lord to root out all evil influence and to establish you firmly in His will. We also hear your deep concern about serious allegations of harm toward others and children, and we take that burden seriously before God who loves justice and defends the innocent.
Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we do not wrestle in our own strength, but we submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us, James 4:7. We also remember that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.
We affirm with you that witchcraft and sorcery are detestable to the Lord and have no place among His people, as it is written you shall not allow a sorceress to live in the sense of not tolerating such practices, and more clearly there shall not be found with you anyone who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, Deuteronomy 18:10. The Lord says I will destroy witchcraft from your hand and you shall have no soothsayers, Micah 5:12. We pray that every work of darkness, every curse and manipulation placed over you or others, would be broken and made powerless by the blood of Jesus, for we overcome because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony, Revelation 12:11.
We also pray for your healing and restoration from shame and humiliation. The Lord promises instead of your shame you shall have double, and instead of dishonor you shall rejoice in your portion, therefore in your land you shall possess double, everlasting joy shall be to you, Isaiah 61:7. We ask the Lord to heal your heart and to commit your works to Yahweh and your plans shall be established, Proverbs 16:3. We ask Him to move what feels like mountains in your life and in the lives of others, for Jesus said if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you, Matthew 17:20.
We join you in praying for justice and exposure of hidden evil. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light, Luke 8:17. We pray that if there is indeed child trafficking, sexual exploitation, or any harm to children, that the Lord would scatter those operations and bring them to nothing, for He says I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, Exodus 23:27. He also promises when the enemy comes in like a flood, Yahweh's Spirit will lift up a standard against him, Isaiah 59:19, and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17. We pray that the Lord will rescue you from every evil work, as it is written the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom, 2 Timothy 4:18.
We gently encourage you in a few things as we pray together. While we understand your use of standing on specific verses, we want to remind you that verses are not incantations but revelations of God's character and promises, and we trust not in the quoting of a verse itself but in the living Christ who fulfills His word according to His perfect will. We also encourage you to release vengeance to God, for it is written vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. Our prayer is not from hatred but from a desire for God's righteousness, protection of the innocent, and even the repentance of those who do evil, as you have rightly prayed that this woman would be humbled and brought to conviction and repentance. God desires all to come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and we should pray for our enemies that they may be saved even as we pray for justice.
We also urge you, if you have any credible evidence or direct knowledge of child trafficking, sexual exploitation, or stalking and harassment, to bring that information to the proper civil authorities, for the authorities are God's servant for justice, Romans 13:4, and prayer does not replace our responsibility to protect children and seek lawful help.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We praise You and glorify You, for You are holy and Your steadfast love endures forever. Lord Jesus, we ask You to deliver our dear one from every area where this individual has brought negative impact, fear, shame, and oppression. Root out every influence of darkness, break every chain, and pull down every stronghold, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. Let every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5.
We ask You to heal, restore, and establish this life firmly in Your way. Cover this person and all who have been affected with Your precious blood. Lift up a standard against every attack, frustrate every scheme, and let no plan formed against Your children prosper. Restore double honor for shame and let everlasting joy replace humiliation.
Lord, if there are hidden works of witchcraft, trafficking, or exploitation, we ask You to expose what is done in darkness and bring it into the light, and to scatter those wicked operations. Protect the innocent, especially children, and rescue those who need to be rescued. Guide the proper authorities to find the truth with clear proof, and let justice be done while also granting opportunity for conviction and repentance for those who have done evil.
We commit all these things into Your hands, trusting not in our words but in Your power and mercy. Keep us from fear and bitterness, and fill our hearts with faith, forgiveness, and peace that surpasses all understanding. We cover all of this with the blood of Jesus and pray that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.
