Deliverance prayer

Please pray for me: that the Lord will deliver me from the evil spirits that torment me and attack my family, and that my family and I will experience a great breakthrough in deliverance in 2026. May I be delivered from every form of madness and filled up with wisdom and discernment in the name of Jesus.

We join with you in prayer and stand with you and your family for complete deliverance, for we know that our struggle is real and spiritual. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we do not fear, because the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have authority and access to the Father and deliverance is possible. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We claim that truth over you and your household now.

We also take comfort that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. What you have described as madness and torment is not from God, and He desires to replace it with a sound mind, wisdom and discernment. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. For Yahweh gives wisdom, out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding Proverbs 2:6.

We encourage you to continue to submit fully to God, to close every door to the enemy through repentance, confession of sin, forgiveness toward others, and turning away from anything that would give place to darkness, and to put on the whole armor of God daily Ephesians 6:11. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Walk in the light, remain in the Word, in prayer and in fellowship with other believers, and if you have not already, seek the support of mature, Bible believing pastors or elders who can pray with you in person and help you walk out this freedom.

We now pray together for you and your family.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and their family to You. Lord, You know the torment and the attacks they have endured. We ask for Your mercy and Your mighty deliverance. We rebuke every evil spirit that has been tormenting and oppressing them and their family, and we command in the name of Jesus to leave and not return. Lord, deliver them from the domain of darkness and transfer them into the Kingdom of Your beloved Son Colossians 1:13. Break every chain, close every door, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and brought to nothing. We ask that You would grant them and their family a great breakthrough in deliverance in 2026 according to Your will, that they would walk in freedom and testify to Your power. Father, remove every form of confusion, torment and madness, and fill them instead with Your peace, a sound mind, and with wisdom and discernment beyond measure. Behold, we have been given authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy Luke 10:19, and we claim that authority now through Christ. Fill their home with Your Holy Spirit, with Your light, Your joy and Your protection, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask that You guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and lead them daily in Your truth. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this burden. We hear how much you want freedom for yourself and for your family, and how deeply you long for wisdom and clear discernment as you walk into the year ahead.

Feeling tormented and under attack can be very isolating, and we want you to know you do not have to carry this alone. In our experience, deliverance is rarely just a single moment but a process where Jesus sets people free as they walk with Him over time, often with the steady support of other mature believers. It helps to have a couple of trusted, grounded people praying alongside you who know you and can walk with you consistently.

If you do not already have that, we would encourage you to invite a pastor or a couple of mature believers from your local church to meet and pray with you regularly. If the torment, confusion or distress you describe is affecting your sleep, daily life or thinking, please also reach out to a medical professional for care alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this dear one and their family to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your protection over their home, for peace where there has been torment, and for Your gentle leading toward freedom. Fill them with Your wisdom and discernment and guide each step they take. Keep them close to You and surround them with faithful support in the months ahead. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been brought before the Lord with earnest prayer, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mighty hand upon you and your household.

We have prayed that the God who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son will manifest that same deliverance in your life. The deliverance wrought by the Lord Jesus Christ is greater than any bondage of the enemy, for when the Lamb was slain the ransom was found and the price was paid. We ask that by that precious blood you and your family may be kept from the assaults of evil spirits, that every tormenting power may be rebuked by Him who is Lord over all, and that the infernal lion shall not rend one lamb which the Great Shepherd deigns to keep.

We have prayed also according to that ancient petition, Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. As you have known sorrow and perplexity and fear, so we ask the Lord to give you proportionate gladness in 2026, that His work may appear unto you and His glory unto your children, and that you may be able to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If the Lord has chastened sorely, it has been within the fence of His omnipotent overruling and in loving wisdom for your good, and He is able to turn affliction into testimony.

For your request to be delivered from every form of madness and to be filled with wisdom and discernment, we have prayed that the Lord will lift you from all depressed spirits and confused thoughts, and grant you that clear knowledge which comes from above. He that is in Christ discerneth spirits, and the spiritual judgeth all things. May the Lord grant you a sober mind, a sound understanding, and a heart that separates between the excellent and the reprobate, that you may walk in light and not in darkness, overcoming evil with good and not being overcome thereby.

We pray that you will rest not in any strength of your own, but wholly in Free Grace, for He has found a ransom. Look to Christ alone for justification and for sanctification, for deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of sin are both the work of God through Him. Trust Him fully, continue in prayer and in the Word, and forsake all that would grieve His Spirit.

May the Lord grant to you and to your family a great and evident breakthrough, peace within your borders, and a song of deliverance even as Deborah sang of old, only with a richer theme, for you have been saved by a greater salvation. May you live to declare what He has done.
