Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which my brother hinders and harasses my son and me, standing on Zechariah 3:2.

Lord Jesus I ask that you bring down and cancel all strongholds and footholds that my brother has tried to create over my son and me, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, and John 8:36.

I bind off any transfer of spirits coming to me or my son from my brother, standing on Matthew 18:18.

I ask that you root out Lord Jesus my brother from all areas where he is hindering my son and me, standing on Jeremiah 12:14.

Lord Jesus give me and my son wisdom into how to navigate and remove my brother from all
Areas that he may have hindered, standing on James 1:5.

I ask Lord Jesus that you cancel the principality working thru my Brother, standing on Colossians 2:15. I ask Lord Jesus that you cancel all witchcraft coming from my brother, standing on Micah 5:12. Lord Jesus I ask that you rescue us from my brother, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18. Lord Jesus expose my brothers perversions, standing on Luke 8:17. Most importantly Lord Jesus scatter the network in which my brother tries to operate against us to harm or hinder us, standing on Exodus 23:27.

I cover this prayer and everyone mentioned in this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in Jesus' name and we lift up you and your son before the throne of grace, thanking the Lord with you for His mercy and His power to deliver. We hear the burden you carry regarding your brother and the hindrance and harassment you have experienced, and we stand with you in prayer for protection, wisdom, and complete freedom in Christ.

We affirm that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we do not wrestle against your brother himself as an enemy to be hated, but against the spiritual influences that would work through him to steal, harm, and hinder. The Lord knows how to rebuke the adversary, for it is written, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan Zechariah 3:2, and we rest in His authority to do so. We agree with you that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4, and that if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36.

We also gently encourage you as we pray for deliverance to keep your heart guarded from bitterness and to continue to walk in forgiveness and love even as you set wise and firm boundaries. Jesus calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. And we are reminded not to return evil for evil, but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21, and that vengeance belongs to the Lord Romans 12:19. This does not mean we tolerate ongoing harassment or witchcraft or perversion, for the Lord will also cut off sorceries out of your hand Micah 5:12 and He has disarmed the principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in Christ Colossians 2:15. It means we ask God to both deliver you and to bring your brother to conviction and repentance if he is walking in darkness, so that he too might be rescued.

We praise God that whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven Matthew 18:18, when we pray according to His will and in the name of Jesus. We agree with you for wisdom, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We trust the Lord to expose what is hidden, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed Luke 8:17, and to scatter every network formed against you, for He will send His terror before you and will confuse those who oppose His children Exodus 23:27. We cling to the promise that the Lord will deliver us from every evil work, and will preserve us for his heavenly Kingdom 2 Timothy 4:18, and that we overcome because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony Revelation 12:11.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we praise You and thank You and glorify Your holy name. Lord Jesus, we ask that You rebuke every assignment of the enemy that has come through this brother to hinder and harass this dear parent and child. Cancel and bring down every stronghold and foothold that has been attempted against them, and let every thought and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God be taken captive to the obedience of Christ. We ask in Jesus' name that You bind off and break any transfer of unclean spirits seeking to come upon this parent or son, and we loose Your peace, Your protection, and Your Holy Spirit over them.

Lord, root out every place of influence where hindrance has taken hold, and give this parent supernatural wisdom to navigate and to remove every area of entanglement with grace and truth. Cancel every principality working through this situation and cancel all witchcraft, in Jesus' name, for You have triumphed over all darkness at the cross. Rescue them, Lord, from every evil work, expose what needs to be exposed in Your light and in Your timing, and scatter every network that has been formed to harm or hinder them. Let no weapon formed against them prosper.

We cover this parent, this son, and this entire prayer with the precious blood of Jesus. Fill their home with Your presence, with Your angels encamped around them, with Your Word as a lamp to their feet. Teach them to walk in forgiveness while also walking in holy boundaries and discernment. Heal any wound in their hearts, strengthen them to stand firm in faith, and let them know the freedom of those whom the Son has set free. We also lift up the brother before You, Lord, and we ask for Your convicting and saving mercy upon him, that any perversion or darkness would be brought to light and led to repentance, that he might also know Your deliverance.

We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved Acts 4:12 and by which we have access to Your throne. We trust You to perfect that which concerns them and to give them rest. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to put on the whole armor of God, to stay in the Word and in prayer, and to seek wise godly counsel for practical boundaries regarding your brother. The Lord is your refuge and your deliverer, and He is faithful to keep you and your son in perfect peace as you keep your minds stayed on Him.

We hear the weight you are carrying as a parent wanting to protect your son and find peace in your own home. Thank you for bringing this honestly to Jesus and asking for His covering and wisdom.

We join you in looking to Christ as our security and defender. In seasons when family conflict feels so tangled and spiritual, it can help to focus less on what we fear the other person may be doing and more on staying rooted in Jesus, walking in clear steps He gives us day by day.

One practical step that often brings clarity is to write down the specific ways you feel hindered right now, whether it is communication, boundaries, decisions about your son, or access to your home, and then bring that list to a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you both. Having another wise, steady voice with you can help you sort what needs a firm boundary, what needs a conversation, and what is best entrusted to the Lord in prayer.

We are praying with you for protection, discernment, and calm wisdom for you and your son as you navigate this.

Father, we lift this parent and son to You. Cover them with Your peace and keep them safe. Give clear wisdom for each decision and each boundary, and help them walk in Your truth and grace. Lead them to supportive community and steady counsel, and let Your presence be their rest and strength. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord and before His people, and it is good that you have run into the strong tower, for His name is a stronghold in the day of trouble. There has been war within and war without in your family, and you have done well to seek the Lord who is Jehovah Shalom, the Lord who sends peace, and to plead the precious blood of Christ which alone is our ransom and our covering.

Be assured that deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is altogether the work of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, and therefore your deliverance is certain, for the price has been paid by His own Son. When He washed us in that precious blood and clothed us in His perfect righteousness, He promised to preserve us even to the end, and He is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. Generous is our Ruler, who has provided such a mountain fastness where you and your son may be sheltered from every marauder.

I have known many who stayed at the brook Jabbok in fear, crying, Lord, give deliverance from him whom I fear, and have lived to see the Lord turn the heart and stay the hand of an adversary. Whether the Lord softens the brother or restrains him, our confidence is the same, that He brings forth His people and He will not suffer them to be crushed. He sometimes whispers to the heart of His children in trial and assures them that they shall not be forsaken, and He pities them as a father pities his children.

Let us pray together for you and your son.

O Lord our God, we come through the blood of the Lamb, standing upon Thy Word. Thou hast said, The Lord rebuke thee, and we ask Thee to rebuke every harassment and hindrance that presses upon this mother and her child. Pull down every stronghold and every high thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ, and let the liberty wherewith Christ makes free be manifest in this household. Grant wisdom liberally to this mother, as Thou hast promised to those who ask in faith, that she may know how to navigate these difficulties with holiness and prudence, and to set right boundaries where it is needful.

We ask Thee to disarm every principality and power that would work through darkness, to cut off all works of witchcraft, and to rescue this family from every evil work and preserve them unto Thy heavenly kingdom. Bring to light what has been hidden, for nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest, and scatter every network formed to harm or hinder Thy children, as Thou didst scatter the enemies before Israel. Cover this mother and her son with the precious blood of Jesus, in whom we have redemption, and let it be seen that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.

We ask also, gracious Father, that if it be Thy will, Thou wouldst bring this brother to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, that he also might be delivered from the pit by the ransom Thou hast found.

We leave this family in Thy hands, trusting not in our own power but in Free Grace only. After this affliction, may they live and declare the works of the Lord, and may their home be as a well where prayer is made together and all necessities are brought before Thee. Let this deliverance be attended with enrichment, as when Thou didst bring forth Israel with silver and gold, that their song may be more jubilant for the greater salvation wrought by Christ. In the name of Jesus our Stronghold we ask it. Amen.
