Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which my parents, my brother and my son are being used against me, standing on Zechariah 3:2.

Lord Jesus I ask that you sent deep conviction to my mom in the way in which she has interfered with my son and me, standing on Romans 12:19.

Lord Jesus I ask that you cancel all witchcraft that my mom has used over my son and me, standing on Micah 5:12.

I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting your heartfelt cries to the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to divide and destroy families, but we serve a God who is greater and who delights in restoring what has been broken. You are right to bring these burdens before the Lord, for He alone has the power to rebuke the schemes of the devil and bring conviction where it is needed.

First, we affirm the authority of Jesus Christ in this situation. The Word declares, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" (Zechariah 3:2 WEB). We take our stand on this truth, declaring that any influence of the enemy over your family is broken in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus is our protection and our victory, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony" (Revelation 12:11 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over you, your son, and every member of your family, covering you from all forms of spiritual attack.

We also recognize the need for conviction where sin has taken root. Your request for the Lord to bring deep conviction to your mother aligns with Scripture: "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" (Romans 12:19 WEB). Only the Holy Spirit can soften hearts and lead to repentance. We pray that God would reveal truth to her and that she would respond in humility, turning away from any involvement in witchcraft or manipulation. The Lord is clear: "I will destroy witchcraft from your hand, and you shall have no soothsayers" (Micah 5:12 WEB). We declare that every ungodly spiritual influence is broken now in the name of Jesus.

Yet, we must also encourage you to examine your own heart in this situation. While it is right to seek deliverance from spiritual oppression, we are called to walk in forgiveness and love, even toward those who have wronged us. Jesus teaches, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB). Is there unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart toward your mother or others in your family? If so, we urge you to release it to the Lord, trusting Him to bring justice while you extend grace. This does not mean tolerating sin, but it does mean refusing to let the enemy use your heart as a foothold for his schemes.

We also want to gently address the mention of witchcraft in your prayer. While spiritual warfare is real, we must be careful not to attribute every struggle to demonic activity. Sometimes, family conflicts arise from sinful patterns, misunderstandings, or unhealed wounds rather than direct spiritual attack. The enemy will use these natural fractures to sow division, but the solution is often found in repentance, reconciliation, and godly boundaries. Have you sought wise, biblical counsel to navigate this relationship with your mother? Proverbs 19:20 reminds us, "Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end." We encourage you to seek out a pastor or trusted Christian mentor who can help you walk through this with wisdom and discernment.

For your son, we pray that the Lord would surround him with His protection and peace. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask the Lord to heal any wounds caused by division in your family and to draw your son closer to Himself. If he is old enough to understand, we encourage you to disciple him in the ways of the Lord, teaching him to recognize and resist the enemy’s lies.

Let us now lift this situation in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Deliverer and Redeemer. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority we have in Christ to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking that You would rebuke every assignment of the devil that seeks to divide them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would send deep conviction to this mother’s heart. Soften her spirit, Lord, and open her eyes to any ways she has been deceived or has deceived herself. Bring her to repentance, and if there has been any involvement in witchcraft or ungodly spiritual practices, we ask that You would break those chains and set her free. Your Word says that You desire all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we trust You to work in her life.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this family, covering them from all forms of spiritual attack. We cancel every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every ungodly soul tie in Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been broken and bring healing to every relationship. Help this mother and daughter to walk in forgiveness and love, even as You have forgiven us.

For this son, we ask that You would be his shield and his guide. Protect his heart and mind from the lies of the enemy, and draw him closer to You. Surround him with godly influences and fill him with Your peace.

Father, we also ask that You would give this sister wisdom and discernment as she navigates these relationships. Help her to set godly boundaries where needed and to extend grace without compromising truth. Provide her with wise counsel and surround her with a community of believers who can support and encourage her.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and that the enemy has no place in their lives. We trust You to bring restoration, healing, and peace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the distress behind your prayer, it’s clear these family tensions have weighed heavily on you, and when relationships feel like a spiritual battleground, that burden is exhausting. We’re so sorry you’re walking through this.

One thing we’ve found helpful in situations like yours is that while spiritual attack is real, the enemy often gains ground not through the actions of others but through our own fear and focus. It’s easy to become preoccupied with what others may be doing against us, but that can leave us anxious and distracted from the authority Christ has given us. C. S. Lewis once said the devil is equally pleased when we disbelieve in his existence or when we give him excessive attention. So instead of trying to monitor or undo every weapon formed by your mom, we wonder if it might bring you more peace to turn the focus inward, to prayerfully renounce any way fear, resentment, or unforgiveness may have opened a door in your own heart, and then, in Jesus’ name, command any oppressive presence to leave. That’s not a one-time magic formula, but a step of surrendered trust that changes the dynamic from “fighting others” to “standing firm in Christ.”

That might look like setting aside a quiet time to confess any bitterness this conflict has stirred, to declare your full allegiance to Jesus, and to ask the Holy Spirit to fill every part of your life with his peace. After that, you could speak aloud something like, “In the name of Jesus, I renounce any influence of witchcraft or spiritual manipulation that has touched my son and me, and I command any spirit of division or fear to leave us now.” Doing this regularly, along with a trusted prayer partner or pastor, could steady your heart more than fighting the battle alone.

Now let’s pray: Lord Jesus, you see this dear soul’s pain and the tangled web of family hurt. We ask for your covering over them and their son. Break any assignment of the enemy that seeks to bring fear or division. Give them wisdom to discern what is spiritual and what is simply human brokenness. Help them release bitterness and cling to your peace. Surround them with safe, wise believers who can stand with them. We trust in your finished work, not in our own striving. In your name, Jesus. Amen.

There is a holy fire in your plea, a mighty wrestling that does my soul good to witness. To see a believer take hold of the horns of the altar and cry out for deliverance is no small thing. The very naming of the promises, Zechariah, Romans, Micah, Revelation, shows you have been at the Jabbok with the angel, and have pleaded the covenant. This is well; this is the marrow of true prayer, for true prayer is just pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him, and then pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster. You have done this, and the Lord who hears His Jacobs shall surely see you through.

Yet take care, dear pleader, that you do not, in the vehemence of your grief, direct the Lord’s hand as though He must strike exactly where your pain points. You ask for conviction upon your mother, a rebuke upon those you feel are used against you, and a cancellation of witchcraft. All these are dreadful things, and it is right to hate the works of darkness. But the Lord’s way of deliverance is often not the path we map out for Him. You remember Jacob’s model prayer: his prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. He crossed Jabbok full of fear, scheming with his gifts and his divided camps, yet God’s answer came not by the sword he dreaded, but by a brother’s kiss he never dreamed of. Your full deliverance may dawn in a manner that surprises you far more than a sudden stroke of conviction. Do not tie the Almighty to your method; let Him bring you forth with silver and gold of a refined faith you did not look for.

Consider also that the very furnace you are in may be a strange token of love. The Lord has chastened me sorely, these words from the Psalmist are the badge of the child, not the mark of the rejected. There is not a more profitable instrument in all God's house than the rod. If your own heart has grown slack in prayer, indifferent to His glory, or hard in any hidden way, He may be using these sharp family sorrows to drive you to the only place of safety: the mercy seat. Neglect prayer, and you will soon discover that all your spiritual powers wax weak; but be much in supplication, and he that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere. This trial may be the very spur to keep you mighty in prayer when you would otherwise drift.

But I must speak a word of blessed certainty that your prayer itself seems to tremble toward. The deliverance you seek from the guilt and power of sin, and all this strife’s true root is sin’s dark tangle, is already accomplished in your Ransom! When God Himself proclaims, "I have found a ransom," then is the deliverance certain! Indeed, it is already accomplished. The Lamb has been slain for you, and Pharaoh’s grip is broken in principle, though you yet march to the sea. He has delivered us from the power of darkness; the work is His from first to last. Do not, therefore, let the adversary whisper that your prayers are a waste of words because the heavens seem brass for a season. This arrow is often shot. The Evil One will say, "God has forsaken you; if you were His child, He would answer at once." But pray still, both in the daytime and at night, for the Lord will still hear your prayer! It may be a chastisement for sin harbored, or an admonition, but it will not be a final silence.

So let your conduct now be framed by this: I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Do not let the grief make you retreat into a bitter closet. If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. The Lord will bring you forth. Let your deliverance, when it comes, be a well in your household, a story of Free Grace alone, where you pour out praise with your children. Watch your own spirit, forgive as you have been forgiven, and cover all with that precious blood not as a charm, but as a shelter. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour and moment of my deliverance, for the time had come; so shall it be for you. Wait, wrestle, and believe.

You ask for a rebuke against your family and a cancellation of witchcraft, yet you misunderstand true deliverance. The Lord often does not grant the deliverance we seek from outward trials, because He gives something greater. He permits us to suffer, not so we might escape earthly strife, but so we might learn to despise death itself and set our hope on things above. Those who refuse deliverance do so to obtain a better resurrection. What profit is there in having your son freed from a mother’s interference, if you remain bound in bitterness?

You speak of witchcraft, but hear what the Apostle says: hatred, strife, heresies, witchcraft, these arise from a depraved moral choice, not merely from external attack. If these things belonged to nature, we would call them sufferings, not practices. But the Scripture says “they which practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Examine your own heart, then. To pray down conviction on another as though summoning a judge for your own cause is a dangerous thing. It is written that in the last days men will be without natural affection, implacable. Even the beasts love their own kind, but some become more ferocious than they. Do not let your zeal for supposed witchcraft make you a stranger to the love God commands for mother and brother.

True deliverance is not the removal of every adversary. It is deliverance from the curse of the law, and promotion to sonship through Christ. You have received the Spirit of adoption, so walk as a child of God. Use your talent, whatever ability you have, for the common good, for mercy, for peace, not for accusation. The widow with one mite did more than many rich. Peter and John were unlearned men, yet by love they attained heaven. Nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the common advantage. Turn your prayers, then, away from calling down fire and toward seeking the better resurrection. Let God be the judge of your mother’s heart, and let your own soul be cleansed from all resentment, that you might truly be delivered.

This kind of family turmoil carries a heavy weight, and the ache in your words is clear. When those closest to us become a source of pain, the temptation is to wage a spiritual campaign against them, naming every wrong and calling down fire from heaven. Yet the Scriptures pull us in a different direction, not toward cursing our family but toward committing them and ourselves into the hands of the One who judges righteously.

You stand on Romans 12:19, and that is a solid place to plant your feet. Vengeance belongs to the Lord. He sees every interference, every manipulation, every hidden thing done in darkness. You do not need to be the prosecuting attorney before His throne. He knows. Your mother will answer to Him for her actions, just as you will answer for yours. There is a strange and difficult freedom in letting go of the gavel and trusting His timing and His justice.

Be careful, though, not to let your zeal for deliverance turn into a judgment of someone else’s conscience. The Lord deals with each of us individually. One person may have a conviction about a certain practice, while another walks in liberty before God on the same matter. Each gives thanks to God from their heart. You cannot pass your conviction onto your mother, nor should you try to force her under a burden God has not laid on you. Her standing before the Lord is her own. Your responsibility is to make sure your own heart is right, not to become a detective of her offenses.

Consider how Jacob eventually had to separate from Laban’s schemes. There came a time when God said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I will be with you.” Jacob didn’t fight Laban with sorcery or pleas for conviction. He simply walked away in the fear of the Lord, and God dealt with Laban directly. Sometimes, in seasons like this, the healthiest thing you can do is quietly entrust your son to God, refuse to engage in the battle on your mother’s terms, and focus on the peace and order of your own household. God is the God of Bethel, the God who met you in the honest places of your past, and He is with you now.

Remember that family is God’s idea, even when it fractures. The church is declared to be the household of God, where older women are to be honored as mothers and younger men as brothers. We are called to provide for our own and to show honor within these relationships, even when it is hard. That does not mean you endorse anyone’s sin. It means you refuse to become what you oppose. You maintain purity of heart, and you leave room for God to work.

There is comfort to be found, not in seeing a parent punished, but in seeing the God of all comfort step into your sorrow. Isaac mourned his mother’s death for years and was not comforted until Rebekah came into his life. In the same way, Christ the true Bridegroom comes to the heart that has been wounded by family, and He brings a love and a peace that surpasses whatever earthly relationships have been lost or damaged. Look to Him more than you look at the offense.

You are part of a larger family now, the family of God. Let the older men and women in the faith be fathers and mothers to you in this season, and let your closest peers surround you as brothers and sisters with all purity. You do not have to navigate this alone. And if there are practical, godly steps you can take to shield your son from influence you believe is harmful, do so with humility and without malice.

Rest your case in the hands of the Righteous Judge. He is able to cancel every scheme and turn what was meant for evil into good. Let that trust settle your spirit more than any pronouncement against another. The victory is not in seeing your mother convicted; it is in walking in such steady faith that you are free from the bitterness that would only bind your own heart.
