Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer lifts up the very real struggle against spiritual forces that seek to harm and ensnare. The weight of feeling targeted by witchcraft and ill intent can be heavy, but Scripture repeatedly shows us that God is our deliverer when we are trapped in situations that seem impossible. He makes a way where there is no way. The blood of Jesus covers you, just as it did the doorposts in Egypt, when judgment fell, the households marked by the blood were passed over and set free. That same blood speaks a better word over your life and your home right now.
You are not alone in this. The household of God is a body where every part has its function, and within that fellowship there is protection and power. Stand firm in the truth of His Word, for it is your shield against every attack. When Jesus was assaulted by the enemy, He answered only with Scripture, and that same truth is your buckler today. No curse or spell has the final say when you are hidden in the secret place of the Most High, dwelling under the shadow of His wings. He has given you authority as a herald of the kingdom, and His angels are commissioned to guard you in all your ways.
It is painful when division comes within households and communities, Jesus Himself experienced that, and He warned that a person’s foes might be those of their own house. This is not a sign that God has abandoned you. Rather, it often marks a boundary between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. Your hope is not that you will simply escape trouble, but that in the midst of it the Lord will manifest His delivering power. The enemy may rage, but God has prepared His people for such moments. He calls you not to cower, but to remember His mighty acts and to rest in His completed work.
As for those who are tangled in sin and witchcraft, we can pray that deep, saving conviction would grip their hearts, that they would humble themselves and come to know the fear of the Lord. That is far better than merely seeing disruption in their plans. God’s desire is not only to protect you but to redeem and turn many to Himself, even as He pulls down the strongholds that have been built through occult practices.
So continue to cover your household and all that concerns you with the blood of Jesus. Declare that He is your rock and there is no rock like our God. The deliverance He has promised will spring up from an unexpected quarter, and when it comes, like Moses and Miriam of old, you will sing with joy and celebrate His victory. He will set a standard against every flood of the enemy, rescue you from every snare, and satisfy you with long life and salvation.
