Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke ### and all the ways that they are being used by Satan, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus I ask that you root out ### from ###, standing on Jeremiah 12:14. Lord Jesus I ask that you restore us for any damage or hindrances that ### have caused, standing on Isaiah 61:7. Lord Jesus I ask that you bind off the counterfeit spirit working thru ###, standing on Matthew 18:18. Establish us Lord Jesus against all attacks coming from ###, standing on Proverbs 16:3. I cover myself and ### with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we find deliverance, protection, and restoration.

We rebuke every scheme of Satan and every counterfeit spirit that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in the lives of those mentioned in this prayer. The Word of God declares, "The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" (Zechariah 3:2 WEB). We stand on this truth, declaring that Satan has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus. We command every evil influence to be rooted out, just as the Lord says, "I will return and have compassion on them. I will bring them again, each man to his heritage, and each man to his land" (Jeremiah 12:15 WEB). The Lord is faithful to restore what has been broken and to heal what has been wounded.

We pray for complete restoration, claiming the promise of Isaiah 61:7, "Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them." We declare that every hindrance, every attack, and every lie of the enemy will be overturned by the truth of God’s Word. We bind every counterfeit spirit in the powerful name of Jesus, standing on His authority: "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven" (Matthew 18:18 WEB).

We cover those mentioned in this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). The blood of Jesus is our protection, our victory, and our testimony. Revelation 12:11 declares, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." We stand firm in this truth, knowing that no weapon formed against us will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father God, we commit this situation into Your hands. We ask that You would establish and strengthen those who are under attack, that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love and truth. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect will. Surround those involved with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray that You would expose any hidden sin or unrepentant heart that may be giving the enemy a foothold. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly soul ties, we ask that You bring conviction and lead to repentance. The enemy thrives in darkness, but Your light exposes all things. We declare that every chain is broken, every curse is nullified, and every assignment of the enemy is dismantled in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You would fill those involved with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory and freedom. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they find their strength in You, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting this plea to the Lord. It is clear you are standing on Christ’s victory and taking the enemy’s opposition seriously, that kind of faith matters. We also know these battles can leave a person weary, so we want to offer a steady hand alongside your prayer.

When we face persistent spiritual conflict, it helps to remember that deliverance is often more of a journey than a single moment. Jesus has already won, and we stand in His authority, but living in that reality day by day can require patience and a willingness to keep turning toward Him rather than becoming consumed by what the enemy is doing. The enemy would love for us to fixate on him, but our calling is to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. That doesn’t mean ignoring the battle; it means fighting from rest, not for rest.

One practical safeguard is not to fight alone. We encourage you to invite a few mature, prayerful believers you trust to stand with you in this. Pray together, confess any hidden struggles, and let them help you keep your focus on God’s goodness rather than on the fear of what might happen. The body of Christ is a gift for seasons like this. Stay anchored in worship, Scripture, and simple daily obedience, these ground you when spiritual warfare intensifies.

Lord Jesus, thank You that You are the Deliverer and that Your blood covers Your children. Grant this one wisdom and deep peace. Surround them with Your protection, and raise up faithful companions to pray and walk alongside them. Restore what has been lost or broken, and let Your presence be their shield. We ask this in Your mighty name. Amen.

I hear the cry for deliverance in your prayer, but I must point you more fully to the deliverance already accomplished. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel. Abel's blood cried out for vengeance from the ground, but the blood of Jesus cries out for mercy, for pardon, for reconciliation. When you plead the blood, you are not wielding a weapon to hurl against flesh and blood, but you are hiding yourself in the cleft of the rock, covered by the one sacrifice that satisfies divine justice forever.

You ask the Lord to rebuke and bind others, yet remember that our battle is not against men or women, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. The evil one is the true enemy. It is he who must be resisted, and he flees when we submit ourselves to God. When you call upon Jesus to rebuke Satan, stand on surer ground, for Christ has already conquered him. On the cross, He made a show of principalities openly, triumphing over them. The serpent’s head is bruised. The strong man is bound by the stronger One who has entered his house and plundered his goods. Pray rather, "Lord Jesus, deliver me and all whom I love from the evil one, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory." The Lord rebuke Satan on your behalf, but beware of setting yourself up as a discerner of spirits in a way that marks out specific souls as counterfeit. True faith may make blunders, yet the root of the matter is to leave all judgment in the hands of Him who searches hearts.

You speak of rooting out and restoring damage. Our Lord Jesus is indeed "a root out of a dry ground." Where there is barrenness, where there is hindrance, where there is the dry, parched soil of hopelessness, Christ flourishes. The power is not in the soil but in the root. If you feel hemmed in by trouble, if sin and Satan buffet you, look not so much to the removing of the outward trial as to the inward growth of the root. The Spirit of God remains with His people, and His abiding presence is the true glory of the church. Nothing so confounds the evil one as the voice of the Eternal. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly, and the plain promises of Scripture will be your shield and buckler. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

Establish your heart, not by the binding of this person or that hindrance, but by resting wholly on Jesus' blood and righteousness. This is the root of the matter. If your hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness, then you possess the substance of all salvation. The application of the blood of Jesus to your own conscience is the true ground of joy and the sure source of comfort. It delivers you from guilt, from the sting of the law, and from the accusations of the adversary. He is your Joshua, your great Liberator. He brought you forth from the house of bondage by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.

Should you feel dry, troubled, or cast down, do not forsake the assembly of God's people. Even when you do not feel His presence, get among the disciples, for there you may meet your Master. He walks with His people in the way, even when their eyes are held so that they do not know Him. Be teachable, be patient, and trust that He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. The Lord Himself is near you; He condescends to your circumstances.

Go then to the pure fount of inspiration, drink from the Scriptures of truth, and cease from all vain attempts to be your own deliverer or to chart your own course of warfare. Let the blood of Jesus speak better things for you, for your household, and for those you love. The Lord grant you songs of deliverance in the night, for the power of Christ rests upon those who glory in their infirmities. Fear not. He has covenanted for you; His Spirit remaineth among you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring before the Lord a plea for deliverance, asking Him to rebuke and root out those you see as instruments of Satan. This is a grievous matter, and it is good to flee to Christ for refuge. Yet consider how the Lord Himself dealt with the adversary and with sinners. When Satan tempted Him, He did not launch into a lengthy condemnation, but simply said, "Get thee hence, Satan," a word of command rather than a harsh rebuke, and the tempter fled at once. And when He walked among His disciples, He knew the traitor from the beginning, yet He did not expose him openly, lest the man lose all shame and become more contentious. Instead, He spoke in ways that prompted self-examination, and it was only when the man persisted that the rebuke grew sharper, yet still with the aim of correction, not destruction.

So if you believe someone is being used by the evil one, the pattern Christ gives is not to pray for their rooting out as if they were enemies to be cursed, but to correct with gentleness. The apostle says, "Rebuke with all authority," yet this authority is not a harshness that wounds the person; a strong rebuke given in love pierces more deeply than boldness that overawes. And when you see a brother caught in sin, our Lord commands, "Tell him his fault between you and him alone," not making your rebuke a public spectacle, and approaching with pain and a melting heart, not with reproach. Even when Paul withstood Peter to his face, he called it a dissimulation, a careful act to correct others without directly condemning the one, so that the wayward might be restored.

Therefore, take heed how you pray. To ask God to bind the counterfeit spirit is one thing, but to ask Him to root out a person made in His image, for whom Christ died, is to forget the mercy shown to you. Perhaps the Lord would have you first examine your own heart, for the enemy works through our own passions as well. And it may be that your quiet endurance and secret prayer for that soul will gain more ground than any public denunciation. If you rebuke, let it be with the medicine of love, always hoping for repentance, and leave to God the judgment that belongs to Him alone. So instead of standing on verses that call down destruction, stand rather on the prayer of the Lord, "Father, forgive them," and entreat the Master to grant you both deliverance and a spirit of meekness.

Your prayer reveals a heart that has already recognized the true nature of the conflict. This is not merely a clash of personalities or a breakdown in human relationships, but a spiritual battle. When accusations arise that are spurious, when attacks seem disproportionate or irrational, that awareness alone is a crucial victory. If we fail to see the enemy’s hand, we end up fighting in the flesh, defending ourselves and fueling the strife. But once we name it for what it is, we can pick up the right weapons.

Notice the pattern the Scripture gives us when dealing with the adversary. Even the archangel Michael, when contending with Satan over the body of Moses, did not bring a railing accusation or say, “I rebuke you.” He said, “The Lord rebuke you.” The angel of the Lord in Zechariah’s vision did the same: “The Lord rebuke you, O Satan.” I have always found it safest to keep the Lord between myself and the enemy. Rather than directly commanding or rebuking dark forces in my own authority, I ask the Lord to do the rebuking. There is no pride in trying to address evil powers directly. Let the Lord silence them. So continue to stand on that scriptural foundation, asking Jesus to rebuke every work of darkness, while you remain hidden in Him.

When a stronghold is at work, whether in a person’s mind or in a tangled situation, our part is not to try and pull the demonic strings ourselves through long confrontations. That road leads to exhaustion and confusion. Instead, we resist the devil in the protection of Jesus, and he will flee. We put on the full armor: the breastplate of righteousness that guards the heart against bitterness, the gospel of peace that keeps our feet steady when chaos swirls, and the Word of God which alone can dismantle strongholds. Nehemiah’s builders worked with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, rebuilding and ready. Prayer was their watchfulness. So keep building what God has given you, while staying alert in prayer, and let the trumpet sound in heaven, not your own voice trying to out-shout the enemy.

You asked for restoration of whatever has been damaged or hindered. Take courage: the God who restores is able to make all things new. The ruined walls were rebuilt in fifty-two days once the people worked with both tools. Trust that what the enemy meant for harm, the Lord will transform into a testimony of deliverance. David sang a song of deliverance after years of being hunted; your song is also being written. Do not grow weary or give way to fear. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. You have covered yourself in the blood of Jesus, and that seal is recognized by every power of darkness. No tormenting spirit can breach the enclosure where Christ Himself is the door. Keep your eyes fixed on the Shepherd, and let Him handle the wolf.
