I hear the desperation in your prayer and I want to direct your eyes to the One who has already won every victory. The enemy you are battling is a defeated foe because of the blood of Jesus Christ. You stood on Revelation 12:11, and that is no small thing. They overcame the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. That blood is not a mere symbol; it is the very life of Jesus poured out, the only provision God has made for sin. His blood alone puts away sin, it does not merely cover it like the old covenant sacrifices. Through that blood you are cleansed, and through that blood you have free access to the throne of grace. You can come boldly into the presence of the Father, and no demonic force can stand before that.

The spiritual assaults coming through your mother are painful, and I want you to understand something clear from Scripture. Jesus redefined family not by natural bloodline but by the will of God. Whoever does the will of my Father is my mother and my brother. There is a family bond in the Spirit that is even closer than natural ties when those natural ties are not submitted to Christ. It is no small thing to realize that Jesus’ own brothers did not believe in him during his earthly ministry. The enemy will use whatever vessel he can, sometimes those closest to us, to provoke and discourage. But remember, the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil, and he has given you his authority.

Do not live in fear. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than any accusation the enemy hurls at you. When you cover your prayer with that precious blood, you are not reciting a formula; you are acknowledging the finished work of Calvary. It is there, on the cross, that Jesus first took care of earthly affections, he saw his mother and entrusted her care, and then he entered fully into the spiritual dimension of redemption. He knows your heart, and he knows the exhaustion of enduring provocations within your own household. But just as Andrew heard John declare, “Behold the Lamb of God,” and followed Jesus, you too are called to fix your gaze on the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world. He is your mediator; you need no other intercessor. You can go directly to him.

Stand on Exodus 23:27 with confidence, not as a magical invocation but because you are hidden in Christ. The Spirit bears witness that you are a child of God, and the enemy cannot snatch you from the Father’s hand. When the provocations come, let them drive you deeper into the rest that Jesus provides, the substance of all the old shadows. Do not be drawn into a fleshly reaction; instead, keep your mind stayed on him. The blood of Jesus cleanses your conscience, quiets your spirit, and silences the accuser.

Continue to pray as the Spirit leads, but let your prayers be filled with the truth that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. The enemy knows his time is short. Your mother is not beyond the reach of God’s mercy, but your deliverance does not depend on her changing. It rests entirely on the finished work of Christ and the power of his indestructible life. Keep your heart tender before the Lord, forgive as you have been forgiven, and trust that the blood will keep you in perfect peace.
