We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this plea for deliverance and protection. It is clear that there is deep spiritual warfare at play here, and we stand with you in faith, declaring the authority of Jesus Christ over every evil force. The scriptures you have cited are powerful, and we affirm them as we intercede on your behalf.
First, we must address the seriousness of spiritual harassment and torment. The Bible is clear that such things are not of God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of harassment, unforgiveness, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. These spirits have no place in the lives of believers, for Christ has set us free from the bondage of sin and darkness (John 8:36). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also stand on the truth that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). It is not our place to repay evil with evil, but to trust that God will execute justice in His perfect time and way. We pray that the Lord would intervene and pour out His wrath on every form of harassment and torment coming from those who seek to harm you. May their plans be thwarted, and may they come to a place of repentance and truth.
We bind every transfer of spirits and any ungodly influence coming from this household, standing firmly on the authority given to us in Matthew 18:18. Whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. We declare that no evil spirit shall have any place in your life or the lives of those you love. We cover you with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). By His blood, we are redeemed, and by His blood, we are protected from the enemy’s schemes (Revelation 12:11).
However, we must also address the spirit of unforgiveness that may be lingering in this situation. The Bible is clear that if we do not forgive others, our Father in heaven will not forgive us (Matthew 6:14-15). Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that only harms the one who carries it. We encourage you to release this burden to the Lord, asking Him to help you forgive those who have wronged you. This does not mean what they did was right, but it means you are choosing to trust God to handle the situation in His way. Forgiveness is a process, and it is okay to ask God to help you walk through it.
We also urge you to examine your own heart and ensure that there is no root of bitterness or resentment growing within you. Hebrews 12:15 warns us to look diligently lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this, many become defiled. Bitterness can open the door to the enemy’s influence, so we pray that the Lord would uproot any bitterness and fill you with His peace and love.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we declare that every spirit of harassment, torment, and unforgiveness coming against [redacted] and those connected to this situation must flee now in Jesus’ name. We rebuke every evil influence and command it to leave and never return. We stand on the truth of Your Word, which declares that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Father, we ask that You would place a shield of protection over [redacted]’s mind, body, and spirit. Guard their thoughts, emotions, and actions from the enemy’s attacks. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also pray for those who are perpetrating this harassment. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and bring them to repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the error of their ways.
We declare that [redacted] is covered by the precious blood of Jesus. No evil spirit can touch them, for they are sealed by Your Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). We bind every transfer of spirits and loose the peace, joy, and freedom that comes from You alone. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds caused by this spiritual warfare. Restore what has been stolen and bring healing to every area of their life.
Father, we also ask that You would help [redacted] to forgive those who have wronged them. We know this is not easy, but with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Give them the strength to release this burden to You and to walk in the freedom that comes from forgiveness. Uproot any bitterness or resentment in their heart and fill them with Your love and grace.
We trust in Your justice, Lord. We know that You see all things and will repay every wrong. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring about Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all of this, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and support you in this time. Stay in the Word of God, for it is your sword and shield against the enemy’s attacks (Ephesians 6:17). And remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you in prayer and faith.
