We stand with you in agreement, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The harassment and torment you describe are not of God, for He has called us to peace, not fear, and to love, not oppression. We rebuke every spirit of stalking, unforgiveness, disrespect, and division that has sought to take root in your life and the lives of those around you. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We address the mention of harassment coming from individuals based on race with great care and biblical clarity. The Word of God makes it clear that there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28). Division, prejudice, or hatred based on race is sin and grieves the heart of God. We pray that any spirit of racism, whether in you or those who have harmed you, be broken in the name of Jesus. We ask the Lord to soften hearts, bring repentance, and restore unity where there has been division. Let no root of bitterness spring up and cause trouble, for by this many become defiled (Hebrews 12:15).
We also address the mention of your uncle’s daughter having a partner. If this is an unmarried relationship, we must gently but firmly remind you that the Bible calls such unions fornication, which is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this is a same-sex relationship, we must be even more direct: God’s Word is clear that homosexual relationships are contrary to His design (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We do not condemn the individuals, for we are all sinners in need of God’s grace, but we must not ignore the truth of Scripture. We pray for conviction, repentance, and transformation in their lives, that they may turn to Christ and walk in His ways.
The footholds you speak of, unforgiveness, disrespect, and torment, are real, and we take authority over them in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to use these things to bind and oppress, but we declare that every chain is broken. We stand on the promise that if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:36). We also recognize that unforgiveness can be a prison of its own. While we understand the pain and anger you may feel, we encourage you to release these burdens to Christ. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right; it means you are choosing to trust God with justice and healing. "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you" (Colossians 3:13).
We pray now with boldness and authority:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You that You are our Deliverer, our Refuge, and our Strong Tower. We stand on the truth of Your Word, which declares that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn.
Lord, we lift up [] and their household to You. We ask that You break every chain of harassment, stalking, and torment that has been directed toward them. We rebuke every spirit of division, racism, unforgiveness, and disrespect in the name of Jesus. We declare that every foothold the enemy has tried to establish is demolished by the power of the cross. We plead the blood of Jesus over [], their household, and their community, that no scheme of the enemy shall prevail against them.
Father, we pray for Uncle Jose, his children, their children, and their partners. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to Your truth. Where there is sin, bring conviction. Where there is hardness, bring repentance. Where there is division, bring unity. We pray that they would turn from their ways and seek You with all their hearts. Scatter their plots and schemes, Lord, and let Your light shine into their darkness.
We also pray for [], that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to release any unforgiveness or bitterness they may be holding onto. Give them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven them, and fill them with Your love that covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Lord, we ask that You would surround [] and their household with Your angels, that no harm or evil would come near them. We declare that they are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We thank You for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your faithfulness.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your Defender. Continue to pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with believers who can support and uplift you. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or trusted Christian leader who can provide guidance and prayer. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will fight for you. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).
