We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s mighty hand to break every chain that binds you to the past. Your prayer is rooted in powerful Scripture, and we stand with you on those promises, declaring that Christ has already secured your freedom.
First, we rebuke every ungodly soul tie, emotional dependency, and spiritual stronghold formed through that relationship. The Bible is clear: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this relationship involved fornication, adultery, or any sexual immorality, we must address it with repentance and renunciation. The Lord calls us to purity, and He provides the grace to walk in it. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
We also declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every lie of the enemy that tells you this bondage is too strong or that you cannot be free. Jesus came to set the captives free, and His blood has already paid the price for your deliverance. *"So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* (John 8:36). We stand with you in agreement, breaking every curse, generational iniquity, or ungodly soul tie connected to this relationship in the name of Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that is new every morning. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would break every chain, stronghold, and ungodly tie that has kept them bound to the past. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, cleanses them, and sets them free from every snare of the enemy. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lust, perversion, and emotional dependency in Jesus’ name. We command every unclean spirit to flee and never return.
Father, we ask that You restore what has been stolen, broken, or lost in this season. Let Your healing balm flow over their heart, mind, and emotions. Renew their strength like the eagle’s, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ—old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Lord, lead them into godly relationships that honor You, where they can walk in purity, holiness, and purpose. Surround them with believers who will encourage and sharpen them in their faith.
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they would be empowered to walk in victory and resist every temptation. Give them the courage to stand firm in their identity in Christ and the wisdom to guard their heart above all else (Proverbs 4:23). May they find their worth, value, and fulfillment in You alone, knowing that You are their healer, deliverer, and restorer.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. We declare that this season of bondage is over, and a new season of freedom, joy, and purpose has begun. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Now, beloved, walk in this freedom. Fill your mind with God’s Word, surround yourself with godly community, and resist the temptation to look back. The enemy will try to whisper lies, but you must stand on the truth: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* (1 Corinthians 10:13). You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we. Press forward into the future He has for you, a future filled with hope and free from the chains of the past.
