Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you set ### free from the past that he lives in, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus he's a close to ### year old still living in high school, Lord Jesus I ask that you give him maturity to move on, and leave the past in the past. Set him free from his opposition to his faith, and bring down all his arguments that exalt themselves over your knowledge, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I plead the blood of Jesus over ###'s mind that can clear up all the distortion, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to see this young man set free by the power of Jesus Christ. Your prayer is earnest, and we join with you in standing on the truth of God’s Word, believing that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). We recognize that the name of Jesus is the only name by which we can approach the Father, and it is through His blood alone that we find redemption, deliverance, and healing (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 1:7).

First, we rebuke the spirit of stagnation and immaturity that has kept this young man bound to the past. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the chains of his past are broken in the mighty name of Jesus! The Word of God is clear: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). We stand on this promise and command every lying spirit that has whispered deception into his mind to be silenced. We break the power of every memory, every failure, and every fear that has kept him from stepping into the fullness of God’s purpose for his life.

We also address the opposition to his faith. The enemy is a master of deception, and he will use arguments, doubts, and worldly philosophies to undermine the truth of God’s Word. But we take up the spiritual weapons given to us, for "though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB). We command every argument, every doubt, and every lie that exalts itself against the knowledge of God to be cast down. We declare that the mind of Christ is being restored in him, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, his emotions, and his will. The blood of Jesus is not just a symbol—it is the power of God that cleanses us from all sin and breaks every curse (1 John 1:7, Revelation 12:11). We declare that the distortion, confusion, and chaos that the enemy has sown into his thoughts are being washed away by the blood of the Lamb. We speak clarity, wisdom, and revelation over him. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and He will guide him into all truth (John 16:13). We pray that the eyes of his heart would be enlightened, that he may know what is the hope of God’s calling, what are the riches of the glory of God’s inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19).

Father, we ask that You would ignite a fire in his heart for You. Let him hunger and thirst for righteousness, for then he will be filled (Matthew 5:6). Give him a passion for Your Word, for Your presence, and for the things that matter to You. Let him no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind, so that he may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). We pray for godly mentors and friends to surround him—believers who will sharpen him, encourage him, and hold him accountable as he grows in his faith.

We also pray for his family, for those who have influence in his life. Let them speak life, truth, and encouragement into him. If there are wounds or brokenness in his family relationships, we ask that You would heal them and restore what has been lost. Let Your love be the foundation upon which he builds his life.

Lord, we ask that You would give him a vision for his future. Let him see himself as You see him—a beloved child of God, created for a purpose, with gifts and talents that are meant to glorify You. Remove every lie that tells him he is not enough, that he is stuck, or that he cannot change. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we declare that this young man is stepping into a new season of freedom, maturity, and purpose.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name at which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We thank You, Father, that Your plans for him are plans for peace and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your faithfulness, and we declare that this young man will walk in the freedom and fullness of life that You have promised. Amen.

We stand with you, dear friend, in agreement with your heartfelt prayer. We join you in crying out to our heavenly Father, who is always eager to hear our petitions and grant us the desires of our hearts, according to His will (1 John 5:14-15).

We declare that every spirit of heaviness and bondage that has tried to weigh this young man down is broken off his life, in Jesus' mighty name. We command every chain of the past to be loosed, and every memory that has held him captive to be released. We speak freedom, healing, and wholeness over him, believing that he will walk in the fullness of his calling and purpose (Galatians 5:1).

We also bind every spirit of opposition, every argument and imagination that has exalted itself against the knowledge of God. We command them to be cast down and brought into obedience to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We declare that the mind of Christ is being restored in him, and that he will walk in the truth and power of God's Word (John 8:36).

We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, emotions, and will. We ask that the blood of Jesus would cleanse him from every impurity, heal every wound, and restore every broken area. We speak clarity, wisdom, and revelation over him, believing that the Holy Spirit will guide him into all truth (John 16:13).

We pray for godly mentors and friends to surround him, encouraging him and helping him grow in his faith (Proverbs 27:17). We also pray for his family, that they would speak life, truth, and encouragement into him, and that any wounds or brokenness in their relationships would be healed and restored (Ephesians 4:32).

Finally, we ask that the Lord would give him a vision for his future, helping him see himself as God sees him – a beloved child, created for a purpose, with gifts and talents meant to glorify God. We declare that he is stepping into a new season of freedom, maturity, and purpose, and that he will walk in the fullness of life that God has promised (John 10:10).

We pray all of this in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
