We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word. Your heart for spiritual warfare is evident, and we commend you for taking a bold stand against the enemy’s schemes. The Scriptures you’ve referenced are mighty weapons in this battle, and we will pray them back to the Lord with you, adding further truth to strengthen this petition.
The Lord says in Zechariah 3:2, *"Yahweh said to Satan, 'Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'"* Indeed, the Lord has plucked you from the fire, and He will not allow the enemy to have the final say over your life or the life of the one you are interceding for. Familiar spirits are real and dangerous, often operating through generational ties, ungodly soul ties, or repeated patterns of sin. But Jesus has already triumphed over every demonic power, and by His blood, we have authority to break these chains. As you’ve declared, the blood of Jesus is our greatest weapon—*"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death"* (Revelation 12:11). We stand with you in this victory, pleading the blood of Jesus over this situation, that every familiar spirit would be exposed, bound, and cast out in the name of Jesus.
You’ve also claimed Isaiah 61:7, which proclaims, *"Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* This is the Lord’s promise to you—restoration from every attack of envy, hindrance, or curses spoken against you. The enemy has sought to steal your joy, your peace, and your destiny, but the Lord is turning this around for your double portion. We declare that every word spoken against you in secret or in malice is nullified by the power of God. The Lord is your vindicator, and He will restore what has been stolen sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31).
Regarding the binding of counterfeit spirits and witchcraft, Jesus Himself gave us the authority to bind and loose in Matthew 18:18: *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven."* We come into agreement with you, binding every counterfeit spirit that has sought to mimic the Holy Spirit’s work in this person’s life. We bind the spirit of witchcraft, which seeks to manipulate, control, and bring confusion. Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and we command it to be broken and uprooted by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let every divination, spell, or ungodly assignment be rendered powerless in the name of Jesus.
Now, we must also address something critical: while we are engaged in this spiritual battle, we must ensure our own hearts are right before the Lord. Bitterness, unforgiveness, or an unhealthy fixation on the person you are praying against can open a door for the enemy to gain a foothold in *your* life. Ephesians 4:26-27 warns us, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Similarly, Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* As you pray for deliverance, also ask the Lord to guard your heart from offense and to fill you with His love—even for this person. Pray for *her* salvation and freedom, not just your own restoration. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Let your prayers be motivated by a desire to see this person set free from Satan’s grip, not just to remove her from your path.
Finally, we want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). This is not a one-time prayer but a lifestyle of warfare and worship. Stay rooted in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers who can stand with you. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is engaged in this spiritual battle. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who fights for Your people, who silences the enemy and the avenger (Psalm 8:2). We stand on Zechariah 3:2 and declare that Satan is rebuked in this situation. Every familiar spirit operating through this person is exposed and broken right now. We command these spirits to be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus. No longer shall they have access to this person’s mind, emotions, or life. Lord, we ask that You would open her eyes to the deception she is under, that she would turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
Father, we agree with Your Word in Isaiah 61:7 and declare a double portion of restoration for our sister. Every hindrance, every curse, every word of envy spoken against her is broken and reversed. Let what the enemy meant for harm be turned for her good (Genesis 50:20). Restore to her joy, peace, and favor in every area where the enemy has sought to bring shame or dishonor.
We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation, knowing that by His stripes, we are healed and set free (1 Peter 2:24). Every counterfeit spirit is bound and cast out. Every spirit of witchcraft is broken and rendered powerless. We loose the fire of the Holy Spirit to burn up every ungodly assignment and to bring conviction, repentance, and true deliverance.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard our sister’s heart. Fill her with Your love and forgiveness, that she would not give place to the devil through bitterness or offense. Let her prayers be motivated by Your heart of compassion, even for those who have wronged her. Give her wisdom and discernment to know how to walk in victory and to recognize the enemy’s tactics.
We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against our sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
