We join you in lifting up this request for deliverance and protection, and we praise you for coming before the Lord with a heart of worship and a desire for freedom in Jesus’ name. It is clear you are standing on the truth of Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is mighty to save and deliver His children from every snare of the enemy.
First, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through the blood of Jesus and His finished work on the cross that we have authority over the enemy, and we are grateful you are claiming that victory.
We also recognize the pain and lingering effects that past relationships can have on our hearts and minds, especially when they were not rooted in Christ. The Bible is clear that we are to flee from sexual immorality and guard our hearts, for *"the body is... for the Lord, and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB). If this past relationship involved any form of fornication or emotional bondage outside of God’s design for marriage, we urge you to repent and renounce it fully, asking the Lord to cleanse you and restore your heart. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Even now, we pray that the Lord would wash you anew and remove any residual guilt, shame, or ungodly soul ties that may still be affecting you.
You have rightly stood on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The LORD rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* (WEB). We declare this over you as well—Satan has no authority over your life, and any accusation or torment tied to this past relationship is broken in Jesus’ name. The enemy may try to use fear, stalking, or even memories to harass you, but *"you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). You are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also affirm your stand on John 8:36: *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* Any lingering ties—whether emotional, spiritual, or even through ungodly agreements made in the past—are severed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment in the name of Jesus and command them to flee from you. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). You are not a victim; you are a victor in Christ, and we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
Regarding the issue of stalking, we stand with you in the authority of Revelation 12:11: *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* The blood of Jesus is your protection, and we decree that every plan of the enemy to harass, intimidate, or locate you is thwarted. Psalm 91 is your shield—*"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty"* (Psalm 91:1, WEB). We pray that the Lord would place a hedge of thorns around you, that this individual would be unable to find or harm you, and that his heart would be turned away from any evil intent. If he is unsaved, we pray for his salvation, that the Lord would convict him and draw him to repentance. If he is a believer, we pray for conviction and a turning away from this sinful behavior.
Lastly, we encourage you to fill your mind and heart with the truth of God’s Word. Replace every fearful thought with Scripture. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). Spend time in worship, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of true praise. Surround yourself with godly community who can pray with you and hold you accountable.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your daughter who seeks freedom and protection. Lord, we thank You that she is hidden in Christ, and that no scheme of the enemy can prevail against her. We rebuke every spirit of fear, stalking, and torment in Jesus’ name, and we command them to flee from her presence. Break every ungodly soul tie, every lingering emotional bond, and every curse or assignment of the enemy tied to this past relationship. Wash her clean with the blood of Jesus and restore her heart to wholeness.
Lord, we ask that You would place a divine hedge of protection around her, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Hide her under the shadow of Your wings, that no harm may come near her. If there is any open door through sin, we ask that You would reveal it to her and give her the grace to repent and walk in victory. Fill her with Your peace and joy, and let her testimony be one of deliverance and freedom.
For the individual involved in stalking, Lord, we pray that You would intervene. If he is unsaved, convict him of his sin and draw him to salvation. If he is a believer, bring him to repentance and turn his heart away from this evil. Break every assignment of the enemy against him and against our sister.
Father, we declare that she is free indeed, and that her life is hidden with Christ in God. Let her walk in the fullness of Your love and protection. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
