The responsibility you feel is real, but we must also recognize that the Lord does not call us to bear burdens alone—He invites us to cast them upon Him. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). You have rightly stood on the truth of John 8:36, that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* Freedom in Christ does not mean abandoning responsibility but trusting Him to provide the strength, wisdom, and resources to fulfill what He has called you to. If this season of care is not what He has assigned to you, He will make a way for another to step in.
We also affirm your prayer for deliverance from any spiritual oppression tied to this situation. The enemy often seeks to distort God’s purposes, but *"where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty"* (2 Corinthians 3:17, WEB). We join you in rebuking any harassing or familiar spirits that may be at work, declaring that they have no authority over you or this situation. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
At the same time, we must gently remind you that even in our weariness, we are called to love others as Christ loves us. Autism is not a curse but a part of God’s sovereign design, and those who live with it are fearfully and wonderfully made by Him. If the Lord has placed this individual in your life—even temporarily—He will equip you. But if He is leading you to release this responsibility, we pray He does so with clarity and provision. Trust that He sees the needs of both you and this person, and He will not fail to act.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is seeking Your deliverance and provision. Lord, You know the depths of this burden, the weariness of heart, and the longing for freedom. We ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is Your will for this season of care to continue, renew their strength, fill them with Your peace, and provide supernatural wisdom and resources. But if You are leading them to release this responsibility, we pray You open the doors for the right caregivers—godly, compassionate, and skilled—to step in. Lead the regional center to act with favor and efficiency. Sever every ungodly tie, every spiritual oppression, and every false guilt or fear that the enemy has tried to place upon them. Let Your perfect love cast out all anxiety, and let Your truth set them free indeed.
We also pray for this individual with autism, that You would surround them with people who reflect Your love and patience. Give them comfort, confidence, and a deep sense of Your presence. Let Your hand be upon their life for good.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of harassment, manipulation, or familiar spirits that have tried to exploit this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to be bound and cast out. Let Your Holy Spirit bring clarity, peace, and divine direction.
Father, restore what has been lost—whether it is time, energy, or joy. Let this season be redeemed for Your glory. We declare that *"instead of their shame they shall have double; and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them."* (Isaiah 61:7, WEB).
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful. You do not slumber nor sleep, and You are working even now. Strengthen our brother/sister to trust You fully, to walk in obedience, and to rest in Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter. Spend time in His Word, particularly meditating on His promises of provision and deliverance. Psalm 55:22 reminds us, *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it. If the Lord leads you to take practical steps—such as reaching out to the regional center again or seeking counsel from your church—do so with confidence that He goes before you.
If there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or resentment tied to this situation, we urge you to release it to the Lord. Forgiveness and surrender are key to walking in true freedom. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is your strength, and He will not fail you.
