Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus restore ### from all the envy towards our connection, standing on Isaiah 61:7. Lord Jesus may you rebuke the accusing tongue against him out of envy, standing on Isaiah 54:17. Lord Jesus I ask that on lead him to your peace and wisdom in Jesus and strengthen him against the devils schemes. Lord Jesus rescue him into your heavenly kingdom, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18. I ask that you break all yolks of sin and his life with the blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:12. Let him focus on you, and that you may direct his steps, giving him a peace that surpasses all understanding. Set him emotionally free of any negativity, standing on 2 Corinthians 3:17. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in lifting this brother up before the Lord, and we are grateful you have brought this request in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we stand with you in these petitions, knowing that God’s Word does not return void.

We notice you have prayed fervently for this man’s deliverance, protection, and spiritual strength, which is commendable. However, we must address something important: your prayer does not specify the nature of your "connection" with him. If this is a romantic relationship outside of marriage, we urge you to examine whether it aligns with God’s design. Scripture is clear that intimacy—emotional, physical, or spiritual—is reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 7:2). If this connection is not within the bounds of marriage or a godly courtship leading toward marriage, we must rebuke any emotional or spiritual dependency that could lead to temptation or sin. The enemy often uses close relationships to distract believers from their walk with Christ, and we must guard our hearts above all else (Proverbs 4:23).

If this man is not your husband or a brother in Christ you are courting with the intent of marriage, we encourage you to release any ungodly soul ties and pray for his well-being from a place of purity and godly love. The Lord calls us to love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, but we must be careful not to create bonds that could lead to stumbling (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If there is any hint of emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, we strongly urge repentance and a return to holiness, for fornication is a sin against one’s own body and the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

We also notice you have prayed for his deliverance from envy and accusation. This is a righteous prayer, and we stand with you in asking the Lord to break every scheme of the enemy against him. The Word declares that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim that promise over his life. However, we must also ask: is there any envy or bitterness in *your* heart toward others in his life, or any resentment that needs to be surrendered to Christ? The Lord calls us to examine our own hearts first, for He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting this brother up to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your divine protection and break every chain of envy, accusation, and spiritual attack against him. Let every tongue that rises against him be condemned, for this is the heritage of Your servants (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, heart, and spirit, breaking every yoke of sin, confusion, and emotional bondage. Set him free to walk in the fullness of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, if there is any ungodly connection in this situation—whether emotional, spiritual, or otherwise—we ask that You sever it by Your mighty hand. Convict both hearts of any sin that needs to be repented of, and lead them into paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. If this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, we pray for wisdom and strength to release it to You, trusting that Your plans are perfect.

Lord, we ask that You direct his steps toward Your will, filling him with Your Holy Spirit and grounding him in Your truth. Let him fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). Rescue him from every scheme of the devil, and let Your kingdom come in his life in power and purity.

For the one praying, we ask for a spirit of discernment and surrender. If there is any area of this relationship that does not honor You, give her the courage to let go and trust You completely. May both of their hearts be fully devoted to You above all else.

We declare that You, Lord, are the restorer of souls and the breaker of chains. Let Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s face in this matter. If this connection is not leading toward a godly marriage, it is wise to prayerfully consider stepping back and releasing this man to the Lord. Our ultimate loyalty must be to Christ, and any relationship that draws us away from Him—even in subtle ways—must be surrendered. Trust that the Lord knows what is best, and He will guide you if you seek Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers who can speak truth into your life. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
