Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you together in the name of Jesus and we thank you for bringing this man before the Lord with such compassion and discernment. We agree with you that it is only through the cross and through the holy Son Jesus suffering for us that we have access to the Father and we praise God that you have come in that mighty name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We hear your burden for this man who rented his flat to you and we stand with you for his deliverance. You have prayed rightly that he would hear the voice of the Lord concerning His holy plan for his life, for we know the thoughts of the Lord toward His children are thoughts of peace and not of evil to give hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. The enemy seeks to counterfeit identity and to lead hearts after their own desires away from the narrow path, but we know that narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life and few are those who find it Matthew 7:14. We pray with you that the Lord would open his eyes to see the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships and activities.

We must speak clearly about those sinful relationships as scripture does, because God calls us to holiness. Any sexual relationship outside of marriage between one man and one woman is fornication, and if involving a married person it is adultery, and the word of God tells us to flee sexual immorality for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. If this false identity has involved homosexuality, we must also say in love that this is forbidden and immoral before God, for God created marriage to be between a man and a woman for life and calls all sexual activity outside of that design sin Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. We do not say this to condemn but to call to repentance, because if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. His true identity is not in his desires or his past or in those who control him, but in Christ as a child of God, a chosen people, a royal priesthood 1 Peter 2:9.

We also join you in praying for his heart and for his separation from ungodly influences. We ask the Father to take away his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh and put a new spirit within him Ezekiel 36:26, and to give him courage to walk the narrow path. We pray that he would be delivered from every ungodly soul tie and from those in his household who do not honor God, for we know that evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33 and we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Where there is control, blackmail and danger, we pray for divine protection and deliverance, for the righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17 and if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. We pray that he would submit himself to God, resist the devil and the devil will flee from him James 4:7.

We pray with you that he would come to fear the Holy name of the Lord, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10, and that he would have understanding to depart from evil Proverbs 3:7, and specifically to depart from the evil woman in his life who is leading him into sin and harm. The scriptures warn that the lips of an adulteress drip honey but in the end she is bitter as wormwood Proverbs 5:3-4, and we pray he would have eyes to see the hateful and destructive nature of that relationship and be given strength to walk away completely. We pray that instead of pursuing sinful partnerships, if God wills for him to have a relationship it would be godly courtship with the goal of marriage to a believing woman who honors Christ, for marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4.

So we pray together now, Heavenly Father, we thank You for the cross and for Your mercy. We lift this man to You and ask that You break through the deception over his mind and open his eyes to the unmistakable truth of who he is in Christ. Soften his heart, give him courage to choose the narrow path, and draw him into a deep understanding of Your love that casts out fear. Separate him from every ungodly influence and from those who control, blackmail and endanger him. Set him free from every chain of fornication and sinful identity and from the evil woman who entangles him. Teach him to fear Your Holy name and to depart from evil, and lead him into holiness, peace and safety. Surround him with godly counsel and protect his life. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him and we ask all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We hear the care in how you are lifting this man before the Lord. You knew him as your landlord, you have seen something of his struggle, and you are asking God to meet him right where he is. That kind of steady, compassionate prayer matters.

What stood out to us is how you prayed for his identity. When someone has walked a hard road and picked up a false sense of who he is, shame and confusion can keep him stuck. Part of healing is learning again who he is in Christ, not defined by past choices or by what others say about him or want from him, but as someone made and loved by God, with a clear name and purpose before Him. That settled identity becomes an anchor when everything else feels unstable.

It is good you are bringing his safety and his relationships to God too, especially where you sense control or danger. We can't change another person's heart or choices for him, and we don't have to carry that weight alone. One steady next step is to keep your prayers simple and consistent, entrusting him to the Lord's work in His timing, and if the burden feels heavy, sharing it confidentially with a trusted pastor who can pray with you and help you keep healthy boundaries.

Father, we lift this man to You together. You know him fully and love him. Draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to Your truth and Your love for him, and soften his heart to hear Your voice. Where there is danger or controlling influence, we ask for Your protection and for wisdom for him to step away from what harms him. Lead him toward what is good and life-giving, and give our friend peace as he continues to pray. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing this man before the throne of grace, and we thank you for the burden you have shown for his soul.

Your prayer rightly looks to the cross where the holy Son of God suffered for sinners, and to that great word of grace, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. There is no other hope for any of us but this, that Christ was bound that His people might go free, that He was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by trusting in His one great sacrifice, not in forms or feelings or works, but in looking to what Christ has done.

We pray with you that the Lord would be gracious to him and open his ears, as He opens the ears of men in the night season to withdraw man from his purpose and hide pride from man. We ask that God would deliver him not only from the guilt of sin but from the power of darkness, for both are the work of God alone. At first sin catches a soul as with a spider's web scarcely seen, but soon its cords grow strong. Only our heavenly Father can break them.

We must pray for a true work of grace in him. Judgments and terrors apart from divine grace may produce a kind of repentance, a carnal and superficial repentance that is of the flesh, that comes up in a night and withers in a night, that affects the surface but does not go to the heart. Such repentance leads a man to turn from sin for a time and then return with greater appetite. What is needed is that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit, a repentance that leads a man to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, to rejoice in Jesus crucified, to trust Him and love Him. Any repentance that keeps a soul from believing in Christ needs to be repented of. True faith and true repentance are inseparable companions.

Therefore we do not ask God to bless or sustain any relationship or activity that departs from His holy design. His way is plain in Scripture, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the gift of intimacy and living together belongs within that covenant alone. To stray from that narrow path is to follow our own desires and to adopt a false identity. Our prayer is that he would see the clear and unmistakable truth of who he is in Christ, that if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, and that he would be given a new heart and the courage to walk in the light.

So we pray: Heavenly Father, be gracious unto this man and say, Deliver him. Break the stony heart and soften it for Your glory. Give him godly sorrow that looks to Christ and lives. Separate him from ungodly influences, even those in his own household, and from every entangling and hateful bond where he is controlled or in danger. Grant him understanding to fear Your holy name and to depart from evil. Like a careful dispenser You deal trials in weight and measure, not in anger but from covenant love, and we ask You to use all things to draw him to Yourself. Set him free indeed, that he may not go back into bondage, and make him to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, daily more conformed to Your Son and delivered from every tendency to sin. Keep also the one who prays, that you may walk by faith with repentance as your companion all the way to the celestial city.

We leave him in the hands of Him who alone can save and keep, trusting that neither death nor life shall separate those who are in Christ Jesus our Lord from the love of God.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in lifting this man before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, who suffered on the cross for all who believe.

We give thanks with you for the cross and for the love of God which is greater than our thoughts and plans. We agree with you that God desires to draw every person to Himself, to give a new heart instead of a stony heart, and to reveal our true identity in Christ. As Scripture teaches, our hope is not to rest in the flesh or in any carnal relationship, but in repentance and continence and in faith toward God. When we turn from our own desires and from the broad path, Christ can be formed in us again.

We pray for this man who rented his flat to you, that the Lord will open his eyes and grant him understanding to fear His holy name and to depart from evil. We ask God to give him courage to follow the narrow path, to break what is hard in his heart and soften him for His glory, and to show him the truth about any false identity and any sinful relationships or activities by which he has strayed. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His design, for marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and all sexual union belongs within it, but we ask Him to lead this man into repentance and purity and to restore him to wholeness in Christ.

We also join you in asking for deliverance from every evil work and from ungodly influences, including those in his household. Where there is control, blackmail, or danger to his life, we ask the Lord to separate him from the evil that entangles him and from the evil woman in his life, and to keep him in safety. The Lord is able to deliver from the mouth of the lion in outward danger, and greater still is His deliverance when He keeps us from yielding to sin and brings us to stand before Him without condemnation.

Do not give way to despair, for to sin does not destroy so much as to despair of return. There is repentance, and it has great force to set free even one who has come to the depth of wickedness, if he will lay hold upon it. God hears the prayers of those who agree together in the name of Jesus and He adds the help of His Spirit to our weakness.

We will continue to pray with you that this man will hear the voice of the Lord, recognize the depth of His love, turn fully from what is sinful and hateful in His sight, and walk in the new life that is hid with Christ in God. May the Lord grant him repentance unto salvation without regret and establish him in safety. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.
