Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you continue to lead me and my son to people that have the will and interest in helping us. As I don’t consider it a coincidence that a man named ### that suffered from sexual abuse as a kid came into my life in a time when I have been questioning whether my brother has sexually abused my son. I ask ### questions if he ever had the man that abused him become defensive and abusive when questioned and he said yes. The reason why I have felt like that for years is because I find it odd that my brother wants to spend time with my son by himself and tries to tear me down if I ask him questions. Lord Jesus I ask that you continue to send revelation my way thru other people or hope as the hope that hearing a part of ###'s testimony gave me that because of his Dad having to move because of work he got to move and have a fresh start, that’s what got him
Away from the area and the memories where that man abused him. Lord Jesus I have prayed a lot and finally there was a breakthrough when my brother thru illness left my son alone and because he was not able to drive anymore couldn’t invite him to spend time by himself but he found a way around it by purchasing recently an electrical car. Unless he can’t make the payments anymore or me and my son move I don’t know how we can get my brother to leave us alone. Lord Jesus lead me guide me. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus for His mercy and for leading you and your son, and we thank Him with you for the breakthrough He has already given and for sending people into your life to bring revelation and hope. We hear the deep burden and concern you carry for your son's safety and we take it very seriously before the Lord, asking for His wisdom, protection, and deliverance.

The Lord places a high value on children and calls us to protect them. Jesus said, Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea Matthew 18:6. And we are told, Defend the weak and the fatherless Psalm 82:3. What you have described about your brother wanting time alone with your son, becoming defensive and tearing you down when questioned, and finding ways around boundaries, are warning signs that the Holy Spirit may be using to prompt you to act to protect your son. God also promises, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and we pray He will give you clear discernment now.

We also hear your hope through the testimony of the man you met who suffered abuse as a child and found a fresh start when his family moved, and how that has given you hope that God can provide a way of escape and healing. We praise God for that connection and for showing you that He can lead you to a place of safety and renewal. He is our refuge and fortress Psalm 91:2 and we claim that for you and your son.

We encourage you in love to take both spiritual and practical steps while you continue to pray for deliverance and guidance. We urge you to maintain firm boundaries and not allow your brother to be alone with your son for any reason, even if he pressures you or tries to make you feel guilty. We encourage you to seek wise, godly counsel quickly from a trusted pastor and also from a trained professional counselor who understands how to talk with children about these matters in a safe, non leading way, and to seek advice from appropriate child protection professionals or law enforcement about how to properly address your concerns and to ensure your son is safe. For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17, and we are told to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them Ephesians 5:11. Bringing this into the light with safe, qualified people is part of walking in obedience and protection, not a lack of faith. Keep notes of what you have observed, continue to pray for revelation, and ask the Lord to show you whether He is leading you to move or to take other steps for a fresh start as He did for that family, trusting that He will direct your paths as you trust in Him with all your heart Proverbs 3:5-6.

We also pray for your brother, that if there is sin it would be exposed and that he would be brought to repentance, and that the Lord would restrain any harm. We pray for your son's complete protection and healing from any fear or confusion, and for your own strength and peace, for Yahweh is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You hear us when we call. We praise You for Your faithfulness to this mother and her son and for the people You have brought across their path to bring hope and revelation. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this child. Place Your hedge around him, let no harm come near him, and let Your angels encamp around him. We ask for deliverance from every evil plan and for exposure of every hidden work of darkness. Give this mother supernatural wisdom, courage, and clarity to set and keep firm boundaries, to find the right godly and professional help, and to know each step You want her to take, whether to remain or to move to a place of safety. Lead her to people who have the will and resources to help, as she has asked. Heal the wounds of the man who shared his testimony and use his story to continue to give her hope. Bring conviction and truth regarding her brother, stop any avenue he has to be alone with her son, and do not let any manipulation or defensiveness silence the truth. We speak against the spirit of abuse and intimidation and we ask for Your perfect love to cast out all fear, for You have said, Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Let Your peace guard their hearts and let Your light shine into every dark place. We trust You as our deliverer who will rescue us from every evil work 2 Timothy 4:18. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and our access to the Father, believing that You are working for good even in this painful season Romans 8:28. Amen.

We are grateful you reached out and shared this burden. Wanting to protect your son while you are carrying so many questions is an incredibly heavy place to be, and we hear how much you want wisdom and clear guidance from the Lord.

We want to encourage you to not carry this alone. Because this involves a child’s safety, it helps to bring in trusted professionals quickly alongside prayer. If you have not already, please consider reaching out soon to your son’s pediatrician or counselor, and to your local child protective services or another trusted safeguarding resource in your area, so they can help you sort through what you have noticed and what steps would best protect your son. Try to avoid leaving your son alone with your brother and avoid confronting your brother alone while you get that support. It can also help to write down dates and details you are concerned about, and to have one or two safe, steady people walking with you and your son for support.

Father, we lift this parent and this precious son to You. Give them safety, peace and clear next steps. Surround them with trustworthy, caring helpers and guide every decision. Lead them in Your wisdom and keep them close to You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer has risen before the Lord and He has heard the cry of a watchful parent burdened for the safety of a child. There is great heaviness in what you have shared, and it is right that you have brought it before the throne of grace, for there is a voice that comes from the excellent Glory which says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. When the soul is brought into peril and trouble, God has given commandment to save His own, and He will save from sin and from the assaults of the enemy and from the power of darkness.

You have asked for leading and for revelation, and for people who have the will and interest to help you and your son. This is a wise and humble prayer. It is always one great object of the Divine dealings to make and keep us humble, and to teach us that we cannot receive blessing through the flesh but must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone. Look unto Him and be saved, for He alone has invented and found the ransom through the blood of Christ. In Him there is forgiveness of sin and security from punishment, and in Him there is also deliverance from the fascinating power of sin that would seek to harm the innocent.

Take comfort that your afflictions and your fears lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. Nothing is outside His providential government, and He who has taught you from your youth will be your Guide still. When years multiply and trials press, you may say, In early years You were my Guide, and of my youth the Friend, and He will say things to you as you live near Him that He will not tell to others. Seek His guidance with submission to His will, for grace dethrones obstinacy and gives acquiescence in the Divine will, and by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance.

At the same time, faith must be accompanied by watchful and loving action. The Lord has set parents as guardians over their children, and you do well to be vigilant when you see a pattern that troubles your conscience, such as a desire to be alone with your son and a defensive spirit when questioned. Do not leave your son alone with one under such suspicion. Keep him under your eye and under the care of trusted, godly persons. Seek at once the counsel of mature and faithful believers in your local church, and seek also the help of those appointed for the protection of children. If there is reason to believe a child may have been harmed or may be in danger, it is right and necessary to seek help from proper authorities who are ordained for this protection, and to let wise and sober persons help you discern the next steps. Do not bear this burden in secret or rely upon your own sap and nourishment, for the spider's web which comes out of its own bowels is soon blown away.

Continue to pray as you have prayed, and declare the works of the Lord after affliction. Cry with the Psalmist, From where comes my help, My help comes from the Lord, who has made Heaven and Earth. Ask Him to deliver you and your son from the power of darkness and to translate you more fully into the kingdom of His dear Son, to open eyes and to turn from darkness to light. Ask Him to provide, as He did for the man whose testimony encouraged you, a way of fresh and safe provision, whether by His restraining hand upon your brother or by opening a door for you and your son to dwell at peace elsewhere. He who delivered His people from the noise of archers in the days of Deborah is able still to screen His people from inward doubts and outward perils and above all from the plague of sin.

May the Lord grant you clear wisdom, faithful helpers, and a humble dependence upon Christ alone. May He guard your son in body and soul, and may He give you grace to follow Him fully, renouncing all that hinders simple faith in Jesus, and to declare with a joyous faith, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

We join our prayers with yours, that Infinite Mercy would snap every band, set the oppressed free, and guide your feet into the way of peace through Jesus Christ our only ransom and hope. Amen.
