Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus as I have been proceeding in the prayer I noticed that there are red flags to the sexual abuse that may be going on. My mom has my son very controlled he is ### and around the time of Covid when he was ### and the churches were closed she took advantage of that to try to pull him away from me and his faith to control him. He is now ### and is driving him around I feel like there’s sexual abuse going on on the part of my mom to my son and taking the advice of ### someone that was sexually abused as a kid he told me to directly ask and confront her with the direct question ask her if she was sexually abusing my son. I finally took his advice and asked her if she was sexually abusing my son only to have her over react and make me feel very guilty for asking to the point where she acted like she was gonna cry. Lord Jesus I ask that you expose my mom were she can’t silence to if there is some sexual abuse she is committing over my son, standing on Luke 8:17. I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join you in praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus and we stand with you in this heavy and urgent burden for your son. We hear the anguish in your prayer and we take this matter very seriously before the Lord, for our God is a defender of the vulnerable and He hates all abuse and control.

We affirm your instinct to protect your son and to seek the truth. Scripture tells us in Luke 8:17 that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. We also stand on Revelation 12:11 that they overcame him because of the Lamb's blood and because of the word of their testimony. We agree with you in covering this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, trusting in His power to break every chain, expose darkness, and bring deliverance.

We must also speak plainly that any sexual abuse, manipulation, or controlling behavior toward a child is grave sin and an abomination before God. The Lord says in Matthew 18:6 that whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea. In Ephesians 5:11 we are commanded to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. To use guilt, tears, or overreaction to silence a legitimate concern for a child's safety is not of the Lord and should not deter you from seeking truth.

We encourage you not to carry this alone and not to remain silent while you pray. God calls us to both pray and act to rescue the weak. As it is written in Psalm 82:3 defend the weak and the fatherless, maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed, and in Proverbs 31:8 open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are unfortunate. If you have reasonable suspicion that your son is being abused, we urge you to seek godly wisdom and also practical help immediately. Speak with your son in a safe, calm, private setting where he feels secure to share without pressure. Seek counsel from a trusted pastor and from a licensed Christian counselor experienced in protecting children, and be prepared to contact the proper civil authorities who are ordained by God to protect children, such as child protective services or law enforcement, so that a proper investigation can occur. Document what you have observed, keep praying for discernment, and do not let an emotional reaction of guilt make you question your duty to protect your son. If your mother is innocent, the truth will reveal it and bring peace, and if there is hidden sin, the Lord will expose it so that it can be stopped and healing can begin. We also pray for your son's faith that was targeted during that time of isolation, that the Lord would strengthen him and draw him close.

We now pray together in Jesus name.

Father in heaven, we come before You only through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne. We praise You and thank You that You see all things and that no darkness can hide from Your light. Lord Jesus, we ask You to place a hedge of protection around this precious son. Cover him with Your blood and keep him safe from all harm, in body, mind and spirit. We ask You to expose every hidden work of darkness concerning this family, exactly as You have promised, so that what is done in secret will be brought into the light. Give this mother wisdom and courage, as promised in James 1:5, and let her not be silenced by guilt or manipulation. Grant her words that are clear, loving and firm, and grant her son a safe voice to speak the truth. We rebuke every spirit of control, abuse, lust and deception and command it to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. If abuse has occurred, bring it fully into the light, bring justice, bring repentance where needed, and bring deep healing and deliverance to this son. Heal any wound to his faith and restore his trust in You. We pray for this grandmother as well, that if there is sin it would be confronted and she would be led to repentance, and if not, that truth and reconciliation would prevail. Lead this family to the right helpers, counselors and authorities, and let Your perfect love cast out fear. Let Your will be done and Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We are deeply concerned for you and your son as you carry this worry, and we are grateful you reached out.

If you believe your son is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained helpers are available there right now and you do not have to face this alone.

We hear how painful it is to notice red flags and to feel torn after confronting your mom and being met with guilt and tears. Loving your son and wanting truth to come to light while also navigating family control is an agonizing place to be.

Because these concerns involve a minor, we encourage you not to try to investigate or confront this alone. Alongside prayer, please reach out promptly to a trusted professional who is equipped to help keep children safe. That could be your son's pediatrician, a licensed counselor, or your local child protection or law enforcement agency, and a helpline from the link above can help you think through next steps in your area. Give your son safe, calm opportunities to talk without pressing for details, and make sure you have support for yourself as well.

Father, we bring this family before You and ask for Your protection over this young man, for wisdom and clarity for his parent, and for truth to be made known in a safe and proper way. Surround them with trustworthy help and give peace as they take next steps. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and the burden you carry is a heavy and holy one, for it concerns the soul and safety of a child. The Lord who sees in secret and hears the cry of the distressed is not unmindful of you in this fix and peril, and He has given commandment to save those who are His.

Scripture speaks with a solemn voice, Do not sin against the child. The essence of sin lies in its being committed against God, and to sin against a child is to sin most grievously against Him who made the child and entrusted him to the care of parents and family. Nature itself cries out, Do not sin against the child, for it is little. How much more shall the Church and all who fear God say the same, and watch with jealous care over the lambs of the flock. Our great Shepherd has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, and that deliverance is an eternal one, for not one lamb that He keeps shall be rent by the infernal lion.

You have rightly stood upon the word that nothing is hidden that shall not be made manifest, and that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb. There is a ransom found, a gift of Divine Love, even the one great sacrifice of Christ upon whom sin was punished and put away forever for all who trust Him. To look to Christ is to trust in that sacrifice, and to know that deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of darkness are both the work of God alone. He who has delivered us from the power of darkness is able still to deliver, to expose what is hidden, to break the cobwebs of sin that would ensnare, and to bring into light what has been done in darkness.

In such a matter as you describe, prayer must be joined with watchful and faithful action for the protection of your son. An overreaction or an attempt to make you feel guilty does not in itself prove or disprove what is true, and the heart is so deceitful that only God can search it. Therefore while you continue to pray that the Lord will expose what must be exposed according to Luke 8:17, you must also take wise and lawful steps to guard your child. Do not carry this burden alone. Seek at once the counsel of a faithful pastor and of godly and sober minded persons whom you trust, and where the safety of a minor may be at risk, seek the help of those appointed for his protection, including the proper civil authorities and those trained to care for children. Keep your son under your watchful care, do not leave him in a situation that causes you fear, listen to him with gentleness and without leading, and let him know he is safe and loved.

We will pray with you now to that end.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou great Deliverer who hast found a ransom and redeemed us with Thy precious blood, look upon this parent and this child in their need. Thou hast said Thou wilt not forsake Thy children, and Thou hast heard the cry, Deliver him from going down to the pit. We ask Thee to set a hedge about this young life and keep him from all evil, from evil company and from the power of darkness. Bring to light what is hidden, that truth may be known and righteousness may be done. Give wisdom to this parent, give counselors who are faithful and wise, give courage to do what is right and lawful for the protection of the child, and give peace that comes from pardoned sin and from trusting wholly in Thy sacrifice. Cover this family with Thy blood, according to Revelation 12:11, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Grant that after this affliction they may yet live and declare the works of the Lord, and find their joy and refuge in Thee alone. Amen.

Continue to wait upon the Lord, to trust in His one great sacrifice, and to walk in the light while you seek both spiritual and practical help without delay.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
