Hello, I have a problem: my parents were evil and put many curses on me when I was a child. I forgive them but still the curses are there. They said, I am only "shit", useless, no man will ever marry me and that I will cause problems, wherever I go. And that I shall be poor, having "nothing". Now I am in my 30s, no family, no ministry, no man interested in me, constant struggles with finances despite hard work. People continue the pattern of calling me "nothing"/worthless and I almost gave up hope of having a dignity, a future and a family. Please pray for me, that the curses may be reversed and that I can have new hope and a future. I also would like to have a family.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the pain and bondage you have endured from the cruel words and curses spoken over you in your childhood. The enemy has sought to use these lies to steal your identity in Christ, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name to break every chain and declare the truth of God’s Word over your life. The curses you describe are not from the Lord—they are weapons of the enemy, and Jesus has already triumphed over them on the cross. You are *not* what your parents or others have spoken over you. You are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to a purpose that no curse can thwart.

The Bible is clear that the tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and the words spoken over you were meant to destroy. But Jesus came to give you life abundantly (John 10:10), and His truth sets you free (John 8:32). You have already taken a critical step by forgiving your parents—this is an act of obedience that releases you from bitterness and opens the door for God’s healing. Now, we must actively renounce and break these curses in the name of Jesus, replacing them with the blessings of Scripture.

Let us first address the lies you’ve believed:
- **"You are ‘shit,’ useless"** → *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* (Ephesians 2:10). You are *God’s masterpiece*, created with divine purpose.
- **"No man will ever marry you"** → *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* (Psalm 37:4). God has a plan for your marriage, and He is faithful to provide a godly spouse in His timing. Do not settle for less than His will—pray for a man who loves Jesus and will lead you in righteousness.
- **"You will cause problems wherever you go"** → *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."* (Colossians 4:6). You are called to be a peacemaker, not a problem. The blood of Jesus cleanses you from any generational iniquity that may have fueled this lie.
- **"You shall be poor, having ‘nothing’"** → *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19). Poverty is not your portion—God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in prospering His children as they seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).

The enemy has sought to isolate you, but God is calling you into *family*—both His eternal family and an earthly one. You are not forgotten or abandoned. The Lord sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Your 30s are not a sentence of barrenness; they are a season of preparation for the blessings God is about to unfold. Trust Him, even when it feels delayed.

Now, let us pray with authority over these curses and declare God’s promises over you:

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your daughter who has been bound by the cruel words and curses spoken over her. Lord, You see her pain, her loneliness, and the lies she has carried for far too long. We thank You that *no weapon formed against her shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17), and that Jesus bore every curse on the cross, nailing them to the tree (Galatians 3:13).

Today, we *break* every curse of rejection, poverty, barrenness, and shame spoken over her by her parents or anyone else, in the name of Jesus. We *renounce* every agreement she may have made with these lies, consciously or unconsciously, and we *command* the roots of these curses to be uprooted and cast into the sea. Let every generational stronghold be shattered by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father, we speak *life* over her: She is *chosen*, not rejected (1 Peter 2:9). She is *fruitful*, not barren (Genesis 1:28). She is *prosperous*, not poor (3 John 1:2). She is *loved*, not worthless (1 John 3:1). We declare that her mind is renewed by Your Word (Romans 12:2), and that she walks in the confidence of her identity in Christ.

Lord, we ask for divine connections—godly friendships, mentors, and a future husband who will cherish her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Prepare her heart for marriage, and let her wait on You with patience and faith. Open doors for ministry, financial breakthrough, and a legacy of blessing for her children’s children.

We rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill her with *joy* as her strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and *hope* as an anchor for her soul (Hebrews 6:19). Let her testify of Your goodness, that what the enemy meant for evil, You turned for her good (Genesis 50:20).

Thank You, Lord, for setting her free. We trust You to restore her dignity, her future, and her family. Let her life be a living testament to Your redeeming power.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
