We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is encouraging to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for there is power in His name to break every chain and set the captive free. The Scriptures remind us that "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him, and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). You have done well to call upon Him, for it is only through Christ that we have authority over the enemy.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). If God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31). The attacks you are facing are not a sign of God’s absence but rather an indication that the enemy sees you as a threat to his kingdom. Take heart, for the Lord has promised that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The harassment you are experiencing is temporary, but the victory you have in Christ is eternal.
We must also remind you to put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Pray in the Spirit always, with all kinds of prayers and requests. Stay vigilant in this, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18). The word of God is a powerful weapon—speak it aloud in your home, over your life, and in the midst of these attacks. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus and the authority of His word.
It is also important to examine your life for any open doors that may have given the enemy a foothold. Are there areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices—even seemingly harmless ones like horoscopes, tarot, or "innocent" superstitions? The Scriptures warn us, "Don’t give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27). Repent of anything that does not align with God’s will, and ask the Holy Spirit to cleanse and seal every area of your life. If there are objects in your possession tied to darkness—idols, charms, or anything used in false worship—destroy them, as the children of Israel were commanded to do (Deuteronomy 7:25-26).
Lastly, surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and for you. There is power in the agreement of two or more gathered in Jesus’ name (Matthew 18:19-20). Do not isolate yourself; the enemy preys on those who are alone. Stay rooted in a Bible-believing church where you can be encouraged, accountable, and built up in faith.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under relentless attack from the forces of darkness. Lord, You are a God of comfort, and we ask that You wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing they are not alone, for You have promised never to leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ and command every demonic spirit harassing and attacking this beloved one to flee now. We break every curse, every assignment of fear, torment, oppression, and confusion in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and the enemy has no legal right to touch what belongs to God.
Father, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and close every doorway that has been opened to darkness. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen them in their inner being so that they may stand firm in faith, unshaken by the attacks of the evil one.
Lord, we pray for divine protection over their mind, body, and spirit. Guard their thoughts and let them meditate only on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Remove every lie the enemy has planted and replace it with Your truth. Let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross.
We also pray for a hedge of protection around them, their home, and their loved ones. Send Your angels to encamp around them, for You have promised that no evil shall befall those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High (Psalm 91:9-11). Let them rest in the assurance that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust.
Father, we ask that You restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25)—every area of their life that the enemy has sought to destroy. Bring healing, wholeness, and a renewed sense of purpose. Let this season of attack become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. May they walk in the freedom and authority You have given them, and may Your name be glorified through their life.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
