What a powerful testimony of God’s deliverance and transformation in your life! It is truly a miracle when the Lord breaks the chains of unforgiveness and sets His children free from the torment of the enemy. We rejoice with you in the positive changes Jesus has brought, for He alone is the One who heals, restores, and delivers. The enemy seeks to keep believers in bondage through bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness, but Christ has overcome the world, and through His blood, we have victory.
The Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:13, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Forgiveness is not just a one-time act but a continual surrender to the Lord, allowing His grace to flow through us. And as we forgive, we close the door to demonic oppression, for Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Unforgiveness gives the enemy a foothold, but praise God, you have taken a stand against it!
We also understand your concern about past social media posts or words spoken in that place of bondage. James 3:10 tells us, *"Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."* The Lord is faithful to give wisdom in all things, and if He is leading you to remove certain posts, it is likely for your protection and the protection of others. Proverbs 10:19 says, *"In the multitude of words, sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips does wisely."* The Holy Spirit will guide you in discernment, showing you what needs to be addressed. If there are words that were spoken in anger, bitterness, or accusation, it may be wise to remove them, not out of shame, but as an act of obedience and a testament to the new work God has done in you.
Now let us pray together for your continued freedom and wisdom:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the mighty work You are doing in the life of Your child. Lord Jesus, You have broken the chains of unforgiveness and set them free from the torment of the enemy. We praise You for Your mercy and grace! Father, we ask that You continue to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that no root of bitterness would regrow, but that they would walk in the fullness of forgiveness—both receiving and extending it as You have commanded.
Lord, we rebuked any demonic assignment against this believer. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of torment, accusation, and oppression to flee and never return. Holy Spirit, fill every space that was once occupied by the enemy with Your peace, joy, and righteousness. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your wisdom regarding the past words and posts that were made in a place of bondage. Give clear direction—whether to remove, address, or leave them—as You see fit for Your glory. May their online presence reflect the new creation they are in Christ, a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for the Master (2 Timothy 2:21).
Strengthen them, Lord, to walk in victory. Remind them daily that they are no longer a slave to sin or the enemy, but a child of the Most High God, seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Let them live in the freedom for which Christ has set them free (Galatians 5:1).
We thank You, Father, for Your continued protection, guidance, and transformation. May their life be a testimony of Your power to deliver and restore. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*
Stand firm in the freedom Christ has given you. Walk in forgiveness, and let the Holy Spirit lead you in every decision. If the enemy tries to bring up old accusations or condemnation, remind him of the blood of Jesus that has cleansed you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You are a new creation—the old has gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17)! Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are cheering you on in this journey of freedom!
