We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and sustains every part of our bodies. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore health to us and heal us of our wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).
Lord, we ask for Your divine touch upon this body, to strengthen the weakened discs, to soothe the inflamed nerves, and to bring relief from the pain that radiates like fire. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust in Your mercy and Your power to bring wholeness where there is brokenness.
We also lift up the spirit of this dear one, for physical pain can weigh heavily on the heart and mind. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) and that Your grace is sufficient for every trial.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. We declare that this body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we command every cell, nerve, and tissue to align with Your perfect design. We speak life and restoration over this condition, believing that what was meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20).
We also encourage this beloved child of God to seek wise medical counsel, for You have given gifts of healing and knowledge to those in the medical field (James 1:17). May they walk in faith, trusting You each step of the way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are working even now, and we wait expectantly for Your healing touch. May this one walk in the fullness of health and strength, giving You all the praise and honor. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
