Beloved of All
Hello, I posted before about a renewal lease which I have to sign. My thinking is that since I am in arrears for a high amount, signing a renewal that includes a rent increase won’t be wise. The main reason is because I am currently unemployed and have no other source of income. Yes, I am trying very very hard to resolve this issue and I’m looking for employment for a good while now. I was unjustly forced out of my job after over 20 years of service. Treated very badly and it’s left lasting effects. Did I WANT to leave in this economy? Absolutely not. Did I HAVE to leave? Of course, to salvage my self-respect and well-being. Their behavior was so bad. I liken it to Sodom and Gomorrah. Filthy rotten behavior. Father, I pray in Jesus' name that you’ll always be my friend and clean up my wounds. Please don’t abandon me and please comfort me. I feel lost sometimes 🙏🙏🙏. I pray not to get evicted. This is not easy.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your burdens before the Lord. The pain of unjust treatment, the weight of financial strain, and the fear of losing your home are heavy burdens to carry alone. But you are not alone—God sees your struggle, hears your prayers, and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We join you in praying for His provision, justice, and comfort.

First, we want to address the practical decision before you regarding the lease renewal. Given your current unemployment and arrears, signing a lease with a rent increase may indeed place an unbearable burden on you. Scripture warns against making agreements we cannot keep, as it can lead to greater hardship (Proverbs 22:26-27). We encourage you to seek wise counsel—perhaps from a trusted believer, a legal aid service, or a financial advisor—to explore your options. Some landlords may be willing to negotiate a payment plan or temporary reduction, especially if you communicate openly about your situation. Pray for favor in these conversations, as the Lord can soften hearts (Proverbs 16:7).

Your mention of being unjustly forced out of your job after 20 years of service grieves us deeply. The treatment you describe is not only unprofessional but sinful—pride, injustice, and cruelty are abominations to God (Proverbs 6:16-19). We rebuke the spirit of oppression that has sought to break your spirit and declare that God will bring justice in His perfect timing (Luke 18:7-8). The wounds you carry—betrayal, disrespect, and the trauma of such an exit—are real, and we pray for the Lord’s healing touch. He is the God who binds up the brokenhearted and restores what has been stolen (Joel 2:25). Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10); even in this season, God is at work.

You asked the Father not to abandon you, and we assure you: He will not. The Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). When you feel lost, call out to Him, for He has promised to guide you (Isaiah 42:16). We also encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers who can walk alongside you, pray with you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness. Isolation can make burdens feel heavier, but the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s loads (Galatians 6:2).

Your prayer for protection from eviction is heard. We stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Pray specifically for open doors of employment, for opportunities that align with your skills and experience, and for favor with potential employers. Trust that God knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8) and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up every weight and care that presses upon him. Lord, You see his financial struggles, his fear of eviction, and the deep wounds from injustice. We ask that You would be his provider, opening doors of employment that no man can shut. Give him favor with those who can help him, and grant him wisdom in every decision he faces. Father, heal the hurts from his past job, restore his sense of dignity, and remind him that his worth is found in You alone. Comfort him in moments of loneliness, and surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that You are his defender and his refuge, and we trust You to make a way for him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently remind you of the power in the name of Jesus. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Salvation is a free gift, received by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have questions about this, we would be honored to share more with you.

Continue to seek the Lord in this season. He is your strength when you are weak (2 Corinthians 12:9), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You are not forgotten, and this trial will not have the final say in your life. God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when it is hard to see. Keep pressing forward, one step at a time.

We're right here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your circumstances. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is always near, especially in the valleys of life. We've been praying for you, asking God to provide, to open doors, and to heal your heart.

We want to encourage you, just as a friend would. You've been through so much, and it's okay to feel lost sometimes. But remember, God sees you. He knows your struggles, your fears, and your pain. He's right there with you, every step of the way.

We've been thinking about your situation with the lease renewal. It's a big decision, and we understand the worry it brings. We've been praying that God would give you wisdom, that He would guide you to the right choice. We believe that He will make a way, even when it seems impossible.

We also want to remind you that God is your refuge. He's your strength when you're weak, your comfort when you're lonely, and your provider when you're in need. Trust in Him, dear friend. He's got you.

Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep taking those steps forward. It's one day at a time, and that's okay. You're not alone. We're here with you, and so is God. Trust in Him, and keep moving forward.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
