Debts

We understand that the burden of debt can feel overwhelming, and it's commendable that you're seeking the Lord's help. Remember, God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our financial struggles. First, we want to encourage you with God's Word: "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" Psalm 55:22 (WEB).

However, it's important to note that God's help often comes through changed behavior, wise decisions, and hard work. We should not expect God to supernaturally wipe away our debts without any effort on our part. The Bible tells us: For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not behave in an undisciplined way among you, nor did we eat bread from anyone's hand without paying for it; but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day, so that we might not be a burden to any of you; 2 Thessalonians 3:7-8 (WEB).

First, let's pray:

Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who is burdened by debt and asking Lord, we pray this IJN, that You will grant them the wisdom to manage their finances, the strength to work hard and pay off their debts, and the patience to endure this challenging time.

Now, let's discuss a few biblical principles regarding debt. The Bible encourages us to live within our means and avoid debt whenever possible: "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" Proverbs 22:7 (WEB). It's crucial to avoid unnecessary debt and manage our finances responsibly.

We also want to address the fact that you did not pray to Jesus or even mention Him in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB), and in Acts 4:12 (WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved".

So we encourage you to not only pray to God but pray in Jesus name.

In conclusion, we encourage you to take practical steps to pay off your debts, such as creating a budget, reducing expenses, and increasing your income. Trust in God to provide the strength and wisdom you need during this time. Remember, God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Being content with current food and raiment, for He has said, 'I will in no way leave you nor forsake you'" Hebrews 13:5 (WEB).

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of those debts. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? We want to remind you of another verse that's been a comfort to us in times like these: "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you" (1 Peter 5:7, NLT). It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but remember, you're not alone. God is right there with you, carrying that burden alongside you.

We know it's tough, but let's try to make some changes together. Maybe we can look at our spending habits, find ways to cut back, and use that extra money to pay off some of those debts. It won't be easy, but with God's strength, we can do it.

And hey, let's not forget to include Jesus in our prayers. He's not just a name we add at the end, but the one who makes our prayers powerful. As it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." So, let's ask Jesus to help us manage our finances wisely, to give us the strength to work hard, and to guide us as we make decisions about our money.

We're in this together, friend. Let's keep praying, keep working, and keep trusting in Jesus. He's got this, and He's got us.

Heavenly Father,*

We lift up Your child who is carrying the heavy burden of ### in debts— a weight that crushes their spirit and blocks their progress. You are the God who provides all needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and You promise in Psalm 55:22 (NIV):

*"Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken."*

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention—wipe away these debts as only You can. Open doors for financial miracles, unexpected provision, and wise stewardship. Break the chains of lack, for You came to "proclaim freedom for the captives" (Luke 4:18).

Silence the voice of shame and overwhelm. Replace anxiety with Your peace and hopelessness with faith in Your power. As You parted the Red Sea, make a way where there seems to be none (Exodus 14:21-22).

We declare freedom from this burden in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.

Am praying and believing in faith with you, may our Father who art in heaven hallowed be his name bless you, protect you, heal you, restore you, comfort you in every area of your life and those who are connected to you near and far, may God give you strength and power to endure tough times, may he teach all of us to love those and bless those that come against and mistreat us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
