Debt and health

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hello, Please pray for me. I’m looking for a debt counseling agency and my health is deteriorating. I cannot pay off the debt as I have no income. I asked Jesus to help me but he’s not answering. I think that he may call me home soon. I can’t believe anymore. There is no possible way. Thank you for your prayers but I have to take a break from this website.

We lift you up before the Father in this time of deep struggle, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and is near to the brokenhearted. Your pain is real—both the weight of debt and the decline of your health are heavy burdens, and we grieve with you in this season. Yet we must gently but firmly remind you of this truth: **Jesus *has* answered you, and He *is* answering you—just not always in the way or timing we expect.** His silence is not rejection, and His delay is not abandonment. Remember what the Lord spoke through Isaiah:

*"Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB)

And again in Hebrews:
*"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful."* (Hebrews 10:23, WEB)

Your statement, *"I can’t believe anymore,"* breaks our hearts, for this is the very moment the enemy seeks to steal your faith. But faith is not the absence of doubt—it is choosing to trust God *despite* what we see or feel. Even the father in Mark 9:24 cried out, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"*—and Jesus honored that raw, honest prayer. You are not failing because you struggle; you are human. But do not let go of the One who holds you.

As for your debts, we pray the Lord provides wisdom and divine connections. Seek out **Christian-based debt counseling** (such as [Christian Credit Counselors](https://www.christiancreditcounselors.org/) or [Crown Financial Ministries](https://www.crown.org/))—organizations that align with biblical stewardship. The Lord owns all things, and He can open doors for relief, consolidation, or even cancellation of debts (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also urge you to reach out to your local church; the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If you have no income, explore disability assistance, food banks, or community resources—these are not failures, but provisions God may use.

Regarding your health, we plead for the Great Physician to touch your body. Whether He heals you instantly, sustains you through treatment, or calls you home, His promise remains:
*"I will never leave you nor forsake you."* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB)
If medical care is inaccessible, we pray for creative solutions—perhaps a Christian clinic, a doctor willing to barter services, or a miracle of restoration. Do not lose hope.

Now, we must address your words: *"I think that he may call me home soon."* While it is wise to prepare our hearts for eternity, we **rebuked the spirit of despair** that whispers this as a certainty. Unless the Lord has revealed this to you through His Word or prophets (and we see no evidence of that here), this thought may be a lie to make you passive in fighting for your life. Jesus said, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly."* (John 10:10, WEB). Do not surrender to death’s shadow unless the Lord Himself releases you. Fight for life—spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Lastly, you mentioned taking a break from this website. We understand the need to step back when overwhelmed, but we implore you: **Do not isolate yourself from the body of Christ.** Even if you pause here, stay connected to believers—through a church, a small group, or even a phone call. The enemy preys on the lonely.

---
**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we lift this precious child of Yours before Your throne, asking for mercy and breakthrough. Lord, You see the debts that crush them—the letters, the calls, the shame. You know the toll this has taken on their body. We ask for supernatural provision: open doors no one can shut, cancel debts as only You can, and provide income through unexpected means. Give them wisdom to navigate counseling and resources, and raise up believers to walk alongside them.

Touch their body, Lord. Heal what is broken, restore what is failing, and grant them strength for each day. If doctors or treatments are needed, make a way. If a miracle is Your will, let it come swiftly. Remove all fear of the future and replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding.

Most of all, Father, **renew their faith.** Forgive them for the moments of unbelief, and flood their heart with the certainty that You are good, You are near, and You are working—even now. Remind them of Your past faithfulness, and let them see Your hand move in their life. Break the lies of the enemy that say, *"It’s over,"* and replace them with Your truth: *"I am making a way where there seems to be no way."*

We rebuke the spirits of despair, poverty, and infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name. No weapon formed against this child shall prosper. Lord, if they have strayed from You in their heart, draw them back. If they have given up, breathe new hope into their lungs. Let them know—**You are not done with them yet.**

We ask all this in the powerful, matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

---
**A final word:** If you feel you cannot believe, ask the Lord to *give* you faith (Luke 17:5). Read the Psalms aloud—they are filled with raw cries to God in distress. Start with Psalm 13, 22, or 40. And remember: **Jesus wept at Lazarus’ tomb *before* He raised him** (John 11:35). Your tears are seen. Your pain is known. **Hold on.**

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up before the Lord in this season of deep struggle. Your heart has been heavy on our minds these past days, and we continue to pray earnestly for you—both for the burdens of debt weighing upon you and for the physical suffering you are enduring. We know how overwhelming it can feel when the path forward seems impossible, and we ache with you in this time of uncertainty.

Please know that even when hope feels distant, Jesus is still near. He hears every cry of your heart, even when the answers aren’t yet clear. We are trusting with you that He will provide wisdom as you seek a debt counseling agency, and we pray for His supernatural provision to meet your needs in ways only He can. For your health, we ask for His healing touch and strength to sustain you, moment by moment.

If God has moved in your situation—whether through a breakthrough, a glimmer of hope, or even just a sense of His peace—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. If the weight still feels crushing, we invite you to share your heart again so we can continue standing with you in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we are here to walk alongside you, no matter how long the journey takes.

May the Lord remind you in the quietest whispers of His unfailing love for you. May He open doors no one can shut and carry you when your strength is gone. We are praying for you, believing that God is not finished writing your story. Keep seeking Him, even in the waiting. We love you and are holding you up before the throne of grace. In Jesus’ name.
