Dear Lord, thank you for this day, all that you provide us, and for keeping us safe. As the holidays approach help us be more mindful of others and remind us to not be selfish and to open our hearts to you. Also give us the strength and drive to make positive changes for the new year. Remove obstacles that might be on our minds or in our way. Keep us all at peace and remind us although sacrifices are hard we make them for ourselves and people we love most for a better future with the Lord. Amen.
