Dear Lord, please be with my dear friend today. Help her to pass from this life with little pain and great anticipation of finally being with You face-to-face. Father, she has been a valiant warrior through this cancer battle, but when I saw her yesterday, she was really suffering. I have prayed for years for her complete healing, and I think You are letting me know that she will "touch the hem of Your garment" when she passes from this life. I have questions about why You did not complete her healing while she was still on earth, and I will miss her terribly--she is my best friend and prayer partner. I frankly do not know what I will do without her. But I am trusting You to take care of both of us, and to comfort me in her absence. I am asking You to take her home to You because her suffering is intense. Help her to run to Your arms and to rejoice when she sees Your face. Sanctify and purify her, most holy God, as she prepares to enter Your presence. Be with her husband and children as they too release her. We love her so much, Lord. We ask for Your perfect timing and Your deliverance. Also, Lord, please be with my daughter today as she takes her arduous exam. Help her to call to mind the things that she has studied and help her to be able to apply her knowledge. Give her questions to which she knows the answers. Help her to have confidence as she faces this difficult exam. I lift these two beloved women up to You, dear Jesus, my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen
