We are grateful you shared your heart with us and we join with you in thanksgiving that God hears our prayers, and we lift up your requests together in the name of Jesus Christ.

We hear your burden about overthinking and wanting guidance to walk on the right path. God knows how our minds can become crowded with worry and He invites us to bring every thought to Him. Phil 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Pet 5:7 reminds us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We encourage you to daily renew your mind in His Word and trust His leading, for Prov 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. When we acknowledge Him, He promises in Ps 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.

We also bring before the Lord your need to earn enough to fix your teeth. God cares about every practical need of His children and He is our provider. Phil 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray He will open doors for honest work and provision, and give you wisdom as a good steward of what He provides, and bring healing and relief to you.

We join you in praying for your friend who is lost. We ask the Lord to draw near to her, to give her clarity and hope, and to guide her steps out of confusion and into His light. We pray she would seek Him and find Him, for Jer 29:13 says You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

We hear your sorrow when you say you feel like a bad person and that you are sorry and wonder if you are being too harsh. It is good to have a tender conscience and to confess where we fall short, but we do not have to remain under condemnation. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And Ps 103:12 says As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. If God has forgiven you in Christ, you can also learn to extend grace to yourself and not be harsh beyond what is true. Rom 8:1 says There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to rest in His forgiveness and let His grace teach you to walk in love toward others and yourself.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You for hearing us and for Your mercy. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, quieting overthinking and replacing anxiety with trust in You. Guide them on the right path and make their steps straight as they acknowledge You. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches in glory, and grant provision to care for their teeth and their health. We ask You to reach out to their friend who is lost, to instruct her and counsel her with Your eye upon her, and to lead her into Your truth and hope. Forgive all sins as they have been confessed before You, cleanse from all unrighteousness, and help them to receive Your forgiveness fully and not live under false guilt or harsh self judgment. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with wisdom, peace, and assurance that they are loved and held by You. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

Thank you for reaching out with such an honest heart. We hear how much you want to walk rightly, and we are grateful with you that you can bring everything to God.

Wanting guidance and noticing when your mind races with overthinking is a good place to bring to Him. That crowded feeling can be heavy, and feeling like a bad person after being harsh with someone can weigh even more. Your willingness to say sorry shows a tender conscience, not a bad heart. God sees that desire to love well.

For your friend who feels lost, we join you in asking God to lead her gently and show her His care.

And we understand the worry about your teeth and needing enough to care for them. That is a real and practical need.

One small step that may help is choosing one trusted person to talk with this week, a pastor or mature friend, about the overthinking and the situation where you felt harsh. Saying it out loud can bring clarity and help you sort what is yours to make right and what you can release to God. For your teeth, it can help to see a dentist for an exam and a clear estimate, so you know what to pray and plan for specifically.

We pray for you now. Father, thank You for this dear heart that wants to follow You. Quiet the swirl of thoughts and guide each next step with Your peace. Provide for the dental care that is needed, draw the friend who is lost close to You, and reassure Your child of Your forgiveness and love. Lead us all in the way You want us to go. In Jesus' name, amen.

May you listen to Psalms in Bible App in native tongue T or B... Father we agree Matt 18:19, we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, Heb 11:6, Phil 4:6-7 in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in giving thanks to the God who hears prayer, for it is a great mercy that we may come to Him through Jesus Christ and be heard at all.

You ask first about your mind, that you may not overthink and may be guided in the right way. This is a common trial, and our Lord has spoken to it. He says, do not be anxious about your temporal affairs and do not be so affected by outward things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness and distress. I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill or any meal to the barrel. Indeed the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Be prudent and do what lies before you in a right manner, and then cast your care upon Him who cares for you. Tell the Lord about it in prayer, and leave the guidance to Him who has promised to direct the steps of those who trust in Him.

You also confess that you feel like a bad person and you are sorry, and you ask if you have been too harsh. Hear the word of the Lord concerning this. There is forgiveness with Him. It is written, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. This forgiveness is not given because your sorrow is deep enough or your apology fine enough, but for His own sake and for the sake of the matchless atonement of Christ Jesus. Where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. There is forgiveness, and that forgiveness is to be obtained from God through Jesus Christ His Son alone. If by faith you can believe in the sin forgiving God and accept that atonement which covers all your guilt, then you are even now among the blessed. The work of the Spirit is linked with the work of the Son, when the Son removes guilt, the Spirit removes guile. So come with a penitent heart, confess all your guilt and heartily humble yourself in the sight of God, not hiding sin but owning it before Him, and believe that He not only forgave at the first all your sins, but continues daily to forgive, and that His forgiveness is complete and eternal. He drowns all the hosts of sin in the depths of the sea and the whole of our guilt is swallowed up forever.

You ask also that you may earn enough to fix your teeth. This is a lawful temporal need, and your Father knows you have need of these things. We will pray that He in His providence will open a way for honest provision for you, and that He will help you to be prudent in your labour and stewardship, trusting Him day by day rather than being consumed with worry for tomorrow.

And you ask for your friend who is lost. We will pray that the Lord will guide her also, and that He will bring her to see that forgiveness is with Him, that she may turn to Christ who alone is the way of salvation. There is forgiveness for her as there is for you, through the same blood, if she will seek it where alone it is to be found, with God through Jesus Christ.

May the Lord grant you a quiet mind stayed upon Him, a clear conscience washed in the blood of Christ, and a steady trust in His daily providence. We commend you and your friend to Him who is able to keep you and to guide you in the right way, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope. Amen.
