We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual battle that is raging in your family. The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you profess your faith and are saved (Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first and most crucial step in overcoming the enemy's attacks.
Now, we take authority over the demonic forces that have been tormenting your family. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke every lying spirit, every spirit of sexual abuse, and every demonic influence that has sought to destroy your family. The Word of God declares that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10). We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We pray for the truth to prevail in your family. The enemy is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his deception has no place in your home. We ask the Holy Spirit to shine the light of God's truth into every dark corner, exposing the lies and bringing healing and freedom. Jesus said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). We pray for a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people (Ephesians 1:17-18).
For the sexual abuse that has taken place, we grieve with you and stand against this heinous sin. We pray for justice and healing for your children. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for the healing power of Jesus to touch their lives, restoring what has been stolen and bringing comfort to their souls. We rebuke the spirit of shame and guilt that may be plaguing them, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). We pray for their protection and for the restoration of their innocence.
We also pray for the perpetrators of this abuse. While we do not excuse their actions, we recognize that they too are in need of salvation and transformation. We ask that the Lord would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance, for God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We pray that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek the forgiveness and redemption that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
We declare that Satan will no longer have a foothold in your family. The Bible instructs us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). We stand on this promise and declare that your family is covered by the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). We pray for a hedge of protection around each member of your family, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We pray that you would be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, standing firm in faith and resisting the enemy at every turn.
Lastly, we pray for unity and strength within your family. May you be devoted to one another in love, honoring one another above yourselves (Romans 12:10). We ask the Lord to knit your hearts together in love and to fill you with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May your home be a place of refuge, healing, and restoration, where the love of Christ is evident and the presence of God is felt.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We acknowledge that You are the Creator of all things, and that You hold all power and authority in heaven and on earth. We thank You for the victory that we have in Jesus Christ, and we claim that victory over the demonic forces that have been attacking this family.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over each member of this family. Surround them with Your angels and let Your presence be a shield around them. We pray for healing and restoration, especially for the children who have been victims of sexual abuse. Touch their hearts, Lord, and bring them comfort and peace. Heal their wounds and restore their innocence. We pray for justice and for the perpetrators to be held accountable for their actions.
We rebuke every lying spirit and every demonic influence in the name of Jesus. We command these spirits to flee and to have no more power or authority over this family. We pray for the truth of Your Word to prevail and for the light of Your love to dispel every darkness.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for this family. Help them to stand firm in their faith and to resist the enemy's attacks. Equip them with the full armor of God and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they find strength and unity in You, and may their home be a place of healing and restoration.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
