Dealing With Divorce

Everything in life has a purpose.

Everything in life happens for a reason.

Anything in life can be healed through prayer.

I'm having a very difficult time getting along with my ex-wife, which is affecting relationships with my five-year old girl - the junior lighthouse of my life, and my girlfriend.

Please think of us in your prayers, as we all work through the challenges of moving past a divorce and maintaining civil relationships for the benefit of my daughter and ourselves. Thank you so much.

Praise God for offering healing for us if we want it. Please draw these people to you through your word. Cover them with your unfailing love so that they can experience healing and forgiveness. Give everyone compassion to see the others' hurts so that they tread lightly and selflessly. Bless them to remember to put their daughter's needs before their personal desires so that she can grow up and learn to make healthy relationship choices. I praise you, Lord, because your word promises that if any lack wisdom let them ask for it. Please give this dad the wisdom he needs to be the man you want him to be because the ex-wife's and daughter's eyes are on him. Give him courage to stand up in Christ, but also exercise humility. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Dear Lord, you said love conquers all. There is nothing but love in the heart of this man over his daughter its bad and hurtful when someone sees that you love something and tries to use it to hurt you.

Lord in the name of Jesus Christ that will not happen. Perfect love casts out fear(1 John 4:18), This girls dad perhaps is afraid of what his wife will do to contaminate his daughters perception over him,

well Lord she chose the wrong tool, or shall I say the right tool- ordained by you because if dad continues (which he will) to love his daughter and doing his role as a father she will see and feel love.

Remember Lord that is the only tool you used to draw my heart to you and today I am yours, despite the lies the devil attempts to cheat me all those years that you did not love me.

You kept quiet and kept on loving me even when... I serve you because I love you.

Love is a tool and a powerful weapon from God. So I thank you that despite the divorce and also recognizing that his Ex-wife is hurting so deep as well and it must not be easy for her for her marriage to have had ended and He moved on with his girlfriend whatever the circumstance this family is at this point now.(Romans 8:1)

Lord I ask you add a double measure of that love on his ex-wife , the mother of his child in Jesus name and you surround her with people who are of you like her ex-husband people who you have shown unconditional love to and they know that no one can be a looser when they use your weapon of love as their tool.

I bless you Lord that you confound the ways of the wise in your wisdom, the wisdom of ancient of days that one this earth from its foundation has been built on for over a million trillion years. And you principles Lord have been tested on all those people before us and found to be true. Infact you say the greatest commandment (weapon) is LOVE! Matthew (22:38)

Love is able to help this man in his challenge I pray you give him grace in abundance as well.

What a good problem to have loving his daughter too much such that he wants to protect that relationship. In the name of Jesus Grant this man of God that prayer request! and make more men like him.

(how I forbid that in the spirit of Jesus Christ- but I say this just as a reminder to self that NO ONE ever goes into marriage thinking it will not last and I know they did everything they could to make it last and God you know that) but Lord if ever please give my Ex that problem of loving his children too much, what a 'good problem' to have in spite of all the other problems in perspective, Imagine God I will continually bless you all the days of my life Lord. (just thinking out loud to make you laugh a little bit and show you that you are a good man)

You surely have let your light shine EVEN in your problems.

Thank-you Lord, for hearing his prayer made to you of faith in Jesus Name. Answer it Lord in Jesus Name and grant him grace in Jesus Name.

 

Praying all will unite with each family contributing to the growth of the five year old in a beneficial way to benefit her not fighting between the two families. Amen.

Lord, this man is more a brother to me even though I do not know him. I too am in the near same situation. I loved my wife of 7 years and would not be going through this divorce if you would stop it. I too am fighting for my daughter, a 4 year old. Where you said if two or more come into agreement than you will let it be I ask this here. Please protect this father, a rare find these days, give him grace and love. Give them all your protection and help them to come back under your grace.
