We lift up your heartfelt requests before the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply for you and your family. Your love for your children is evident, and we join you in seeking God’s will for each of them, trusting in His perfect plans.
For your teen daughter, we pray that the Lord would surround her with godly friends who will encourage her in faith and righteousness. The Word tells us in Proverbs 13:20, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* May she find her identity in Christ and reject the lies of the world that seek to distort her self-worth. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that God’s plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray she would turn away from any influences that lead her astray and instead cling to the truth of Scripture, making choices that honor God.
For your older daughter, we ask the Lord to fill her with confidence that comes from Him alone, not from the world’s standards. May she see herself as God sees her—a beloved daughter, redeemed and purposed for His glory. *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* (Ephesians 2:10). Let her find her strength in Him, knowing that true beauty and worth are found in Christ.
For your son, we pray that the Lord would grant him growth in stature and in faith, just as Jesus grew *"in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men"* (Luke 2:52). May he walk in confidence, not comparing himself to others but trusting in the unique way God has designed him. Let him know that his worth is not in his height but in being a child of the King.
We also lift you up, dear parent, as you carry the weight of anxiety for your children. The Lord commands us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your children are in His hands, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in them.
For your family’s unity, we pray that the Lord would bind you together in love, patience, and mutual encouragement. May your home be a place of refuge, where God’s Word is honored and His presence is felt. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain."* (Psalm 127:1). Let Him be the foundation of your family.
As you travel, we ask for the Lord’s protection over you. *"The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* (Psalm 121:8). May He guide your steps and bring you safely home.
Finally, we gently remind you that all prayers must be offered in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6). If you have not already, place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would draw each member closer to You, filling them with Your peace, wisdom, and confidence. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and surround them with Your love. Heal their anxieties, unite their hearts, and guide their steps. For the teen daughter, raise up godly friends and a hunger for Your Word. For the older daughter, instill in her a deep sense of worth found only in You. For the son, grant him growth in body and spirit, rooted in Your truth. Strengthen this parent, Lord, and replace their worry with trust in Your sovereignty. Keep this family safe as they travel, and bring them home in Your perfect care. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.**
