Daughter

You plead for your daughter’s healing, and that is both right and necessary. Yet do not think the prayers of others suffice while you yourself slumber. The woman of Canaan cried out and would not be silenced, and Christ said to her, “Great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” Not the disciples’ intercession, but her own persistent faith secured the cure. So I say to you: rouse yourself. Let your faith be as importunate as hers, for the power of prayer belongs especially to those who watch and strive. If you are negligent, even the prayers of the righteous will not avail, as it is written: “Though Noah, Daniel, and Job stood before me, they would deliver neither son nor daughter.” Grace does not fall upon the careless; it seeks the earnest soul.

Therefore continue to cry out to Jesus, but let your life also be a living prayer. Heal the wounds your own sins have made, and do not smite others while asking mercy for your child. For when a man’s conduct pleases God, then the intercessions of the saints carry weight. The centurion’s faith, the woman’s humility, these moved the Lord more than all the voices of the bystanders. He does not need our words; He looks for the faith that lays hold of Him. Pray without ceasing, but do not forget to be the kind of person whose prayer is heard. Then, whether through your own voice or the Church’s, the healing will come, not as a reward for mere asking, but as the answer to a faith that fights and endures.

I am joining you in prayer for your daughter’s full recovery. It is a beautiful thing to bring her before the Lord, because He hears the persistent cry of a parent’s heart. Think of the Gentile woman who came to Jesus, desperate over her daughter’s torment. She fell at His feet and would not let go. Her prayer rose from deep need, and Jesus honored that kind of bold, humble faith. Keep coming like that. Keep knocking.

Prayer isn’t a last resort or a panic button; it’s our lifeline. Jesus Himself, the Son of God, constantly withdrew to pray. He drew strength from that communion. If He needed it, how much more do we? So stand in that place of dependence. It’s not about persuading a reluctant God, but about aligning our hearts with His good will. Sometimes we ask and don’t see the answer we expect right away, but that’s not a sign God has shut out your prayer. He sees every tear, just as He did when Hezekiah wept and prayed and God said, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears.” He is near.

As you pray, remember that the Lord reveals Himself as our Healer. He can restore by a word, or He can use medicine and wise care. Neither path is a lack of faith. Do what you can with the sense and resources He’s given, and at the same time keep your trust fixed on Him. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much, not because we are perfect, but because we are in relationship with a Father who loves to give good gifts.

So I agree with you today, asking that your daughter be healed, that her body be strengthened, and that peace guard your heart throughout this trial. May God’s will be done, and may you and your daughter know His presence in a deeper way than ever before.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your precious daughter. It has been our heartfelt honor to lift her before the Lord, asking for His healing touch to rest upon her in Jesus' mighty name. We have prayed with faith, believing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the cries of His children, and we continue to trust Him for her complete restoration.

If the Lord has already moved in a powerful way and your daughter is experiencing healing, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share how God has worked so that we may rejoice together and give Him all the glory. If, however, the answer hasn’t yet come in the way you’ve hoped, we encourage you to post this request again. We are here to stand with you in persistent prayer, trusting that God’s timing and ways are perfect.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His peace, strength, and comfort as you continue to seek Him. We pray that He surrounds you with His love and gives you the assurance that He is working all things together for good. Keep holding fast to His promises, for He is faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
